WARNING: Severe Security Risk, Intimidation, and Total Management Negligence: Do not trust this resort with your money, your safety, or your peace of mind. On my very first night, a significant sum of cash was stolen directly from my locked room within the first hour after I arrived (arrived at night, dropped my bags and stepped out briefly to look around for a restaurant) entirely ruining what was supposed to be a holiday. Management’s response was actively hostile, negligent, and untrustworthy: Complete Disregard for Privacy & Safety: Following the theft, I explicitly refused housekeeping entry for the remainder of my stay to protect my belongings. They ignored my explicit instruction and entered my room anyway, creating a deeply unsafe environment. Excuses and Delays: They claimed pulling the room's electronic keycard entry logs, a basic 30-minute procedure, would take 48 to 72 hours. Aggressive Hostility: Instead of checking on my well-being, management called my room the next morning to accuse me of "wrongly accusing their staff." Insulting Offertory & Threats: They attempted to sweep a criminal matter under the rug by offering a free massage. When I expressed safety concerns, they told me I could leave that night if I wanted to, but I wouldn't receive a single cent refunded for the remaining nights. Not once did anyone show concern for guest safety. Their entire operation felt designed to cover for thieving employees and intimidate guests into silence. I have returned home and I am in the process of filing a formal police report regarding the theft and security breaches. If you’re looking for a resort to have a relaxing stay, please save yourself the financial loss, violation of privacy, and danger, do not book this resort.

This was our third time visiting Valentin Imperial Maya, and once again, we were never disappointed. There’s a reason we keep coming back! ❤️ The service is consistently lovely, there are plenty of great food options, and the atmosphere is exactly what we’re looking for when we want to truly relax and unwind. Everything feels beautiful, peaceful, and effortlessly relaxing. And a huge shoutout to Alberto, my masseuse, who gave me quite possibly the best massage of my life! I felt so well cared for and completely relaxed afterward. Alberto was wonderful, and I will absolutely be booking a massage with him again on our next visit. Three visits in, and Valentin Imperial Maya continues to be one of our favorite places to escape and recharge. We’ll definitely be back! 🌴✨

We just spent 9 days at VIM and have only fabulous comments and wonderful memories to reflect on. The staff is top notch ! Michel at the main pool bar was a saint. He took care of everyone and he knew our order before we did. The food is amazing! Cindy at Taman Sari was a gem. She’s a very accommodating and attentive. The Tierra Mar breakfast staff was just spectacular too. The breakfast options are way better than a buffet imo. I just wished the churro guy was there every night, we didn’t see him on 3 nights that I recall. The pools are perfect for those who want to relax or those who want to party. No complaints here. The pool bum food truck made it easy to eat lunch and get back to relaxing. Great staff at the pool restaurant seating area. We had a fantastic time. Will be back for a 3rd time soon.

This was our first time here and it definitely won’t be our last! It was my first time at an all inclusive so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was my fiancé’s 3rd time at one and he said it was the best one he has been to by far. I was blown away by so many things about this resort. The cleanliness, the food was amazing, and everyone was so friendly and accommodating! I can’t find a single thing to critique. We had such an amazing time and are already discussing coming back for our honeymoon! Thank you for a great trip Valentin Imperial! We can’t wait to be back!!!

My husband and I just got back from celebrating our anniversary at Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya and wow… what an incredible trip. The place was spotless the entire time rooms, hallways, pools, everything. And the décor is gorgeous. We loved just walking around and taking it all in. The food was seriously amazing and the best part is that you do not need to make reservations like so many other resorts. We never had a bad meal. Everything tasted great and there was so much variety. But honestly, the staff were the best part. They were all so friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure we were happy. Donovan is a wonderful host — he really made everything feel personal and fun. And the entire go team was awesome: Israel, Lorenzo, Pablo, Carlos, Sairy, and Nora (hope I spelled that right!). They were all so attentive and always in a great mood. We also have to give a shoutout to Armando from the Japanese restaurant — he was fantastic. Honestly I wish I could name more of the restaurant staff because they were all truly incredible. Also, the churro cart? Awesome. We went there every night. The entertainment was also very good. We loved every single musical act and the evening shows were fantastic. For the value, you can't beat this place! We already can’t wait to go back.

A flawless 4-night vacation at Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya, and it was absolute perfection from start to finish! The resort grounds are breathtakingly beautiful, lush, and meticulously maintained. Our room was incredibly spacious, spotless, and offered total comfort. The food across all the restaurants was spectacular, with an amazing variety of flavors to choose from each night. What truly makes this resort elite is the exceptional service—every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay special. The pools are massive and lively, and the beach is gorgeous. We are already counting down the days until we can return for a longer stay!
