My stay at Banyan Tree Phuket has been absolutely amazing! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The breakfast is phenomenal, with a huge variety of delicious options to choose from each morning. Whether you enjoy local Thai cuisine or international favorites, there is something for everyone. The resort is also conveniently close to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the stunning Phuket coastline. Between the exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and outstanding dining experience, Banyan Tree Phuket exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend it and would gladly stay here again!

⭐ 1 STAR — Extremely Disappointing for a “Luxury” Resort Honestly, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. At first, everything seemed fine, but by the end of our stay, the way we were treated completely ruined the experience. The biggest issue was checkout. When paying my bill, the hotel used an exchange rate that was significantly worse than the actual rate. I understand that hotels may have their own exchange rates when exchanging money, but applying that kind of rate when I’m simply paying my hotel bill is unacceptable. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels around the world, and this was ridiculous. Even worse, I was charged for bags that I never took. Why am I being charged for something I didn’t use? I should not have to waste my time at checkout disputing charges that shouldn’t even be on my bill in the first place. Then there was the issue with the lizards/geckos and bugs everywhere. I understand Phuket is tropical, and obviously you can’t eliminate every insect, but for a resort charging luxury prices, the amount we encountered was honestly unacceptable. But the biggest disappointment was our honeymoon experience. I told the hotel approximately 10 times that we were coming for our honeymoon and asked them to decorate the room. I specifically emphasized that this was important to us. You would think a luxury resort like Banyan Tree Phuket would make an effort for such a special occasion. Instead, we got two coconuts and some leaves spelling “Honeymoon.” That was basically it. It was tiny, ugly, and looked like something thrown together at the last minute. After reminding them so many times, I expected something romantic and memorable — not something that looked like almost no effort was made. For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury resort, the attention to detail and customer service were extremely disappointing. The sad part is that the stay started off well, but the checkout experience and the lack of effort throughout the stay completely ruined the final impression. When you pay luxury-resort prices, you expect luxury-level service, honesty, and attention to detail. I would not recommend Banyan Tree Phuket based on my experience. For the price, there are plenty of other resorts where your money and special occasion will be appreciated much more.

I visited Banyan Café this time, and the experience was amazing, especially the service and food. The food was delicious and big portions. I was warmly welcomed and escorted by Katie, who took great care of us throughout our visit. Breeze was very attentive and detail-oriented, and her food recommendations were excellent. I would also like to thank Micky, who made sure we had a wonderful overall experience at the restaurant. Thank you to the whole team for making our visit so enjoyable! After enjoying our meal, we also stopped by the Gallery and had the pleasure of meeting Ni,Fah, Hom, and Lyla. They were very friendly and attentive, and did a wonderful job recommending products to us. The products here are truly lovely, especially the beautiful fragrances. We really enjoyed them and found them perfect as gifts for someone special. Thank you so much to Ni, Hom, and Lyla for taking such good care of us and making our visit even more memorable. We truly appreciate your warm service and thoughtful recommendations!

For the past several years, Banyan Tree Phuket has been our home away from home, and every single visit makes us fall in love with this place all over again. From the exceptional service and beautifully designed villas to the outstanding food, every detail reflects true luxury and genuine hospitality. This time, we decided to try the private in-villa BBQ, and saying we were impressed would be an understatement. It was an unforgettable experience—the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the personalized service made it one of the highlights of our stay. And then there’s the Banyan Tree Spa—our absolute favorite. Every treatment is a journey of complete relaxation, leaving both your body and soul fully recharged. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Banyan Tree Phuket team for consistently creating such unforgettable experiences. We can’t wait to be back again.

First time staying in the 5 Star Banyan Tree Phuket Resort. Situated within the lush greenery of the Laguna Phuket and Golf Course, the Banyan Tree Phuket possesses natural beauty and unparalleled indulgence with all-pool villas nestled around a lagoon that is ideal for an intimate and serene getaway. The Banyan Pool Villa we stayed is spacious and has a very good lay out. The King size bed is extremely comfortable and the room opens up to the pool and a heated jacuzzi. The bathroom can access from both the room and the pool. The toilet seat is heated and is of a good size and separated from the bathroom. Most of the toiletries and basic essentials were adequately provided inside the villa and you can access the hotel lobby and restaurants through the resort’s buggy, which is the complimentary on-call transportation system throughout the sprawling resort grounds and Laguna area. There is also an hourly shuttle bus which you can take to the main entrance of the Laguna Phuket where you can access many shops, eateries and convenience stores. Bicycles are also provided free of charge for use around the sparse resort. You can cycle to the beautiful Bang Tao Beach which is rather secluded and quiet. The resort also provides a complementary water shuttle service to the beach. The breakfast is sumptuous and has a great variety of western and International cuisine. You can opt to seat outdoors which offers a tranquil experience overlooking the lake. Overall, we really had a great time during our romantic escapade at the Banyan Tree Phuket.

The hotel was everything we dreamed of and more. We stayed as a family of five, including a baby, and had an amazing experience. Our two-bedroom villa was incredibly spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The private pool was much bigger than we expected, which was a fantastic surprise. We especially enjoyed having lunch at the golf club, and the golf buggy service was an absolute godsend for getting around the resort. Every member of staff was professional, friendly, and welcoming. The warmth and hospitality of Thai culture is something we never get enough of. We visited during the rainy season, so our only suggestion would be to offer a couple of evening activities or entertainment options for guests. It would create a livelier atmosphere on quieter nights. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
