We planned a stay at the ELEPHANT ROCK LUXURY CAMP TARANGIRE TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – TANZANIA for my birthday and I so recommend this place this stay at this location was above and beyond of gratitude and hospitality they so spoiled me too much and kept me feeling loved and safe which it’s a Wildlife Safari Camp and Manish the Manager is so awesome and he goes overboard to make your stay feel comfortable and his care fir the camp and customers is tremendously overboard . Their food is so delicious and 5 star meals the chef deserves a raise ! I’m in love with this Hotel and I will do anything to go back for the love and care they offer to us .. Love yall be back !!! will miss yall too :)

We have to say this is one of our best choices within last years. Very nice hotel in Arabic fairytale style, very comfortable rooms and equipment at the and of Pingwe village. If you like to taste a private luxury with nice white beach and three swimming pools and bars this is the perfect choice. Very nice and always helpful staff... and delicious food. Thank you Shukran Palace!

My family and I stayed at the Shukran Palace in June of 2026 and found this resort to be top notch in Zanzibar. The property sits on gorgeous grounds with unlimited views of the Indian Ocean. Suites are spacious and fitted with all modern amenities. Staff is courteous and ready to help in any way possible. The world class chef prepares delicious food from various cuisines and presentation is spectacular. Property has cascading pools with multiple bars. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommend.

Amazing Services from reception, welcoming, meals, rooms staff are more than friendly. All the suprises for my son's birthday and our marriage anniversary all were amazing and unexpected. Me and My family together we had an amazing Easter Holiday and I really recommend Shukran Palace while in Zanzibar. Thanks SHUKRAN PALACE for making this holiday a lifetime memory to us.

The rooms were honestly amazing — spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with great views that really make you feel like you’re on vacation. The location is also quite good, close to the beach and easy to get around. However, that’s where the positives mostly end. The service was terrible. I called three separate times about the WiFi not working while I was trying to join an important Zoom call, and each time I was told someone would come to fix it — but no one ever did. It felt like they were just saying what I wanted to hear without actually doing anything about it. The food was pretty average overall. Breakfast was the only meal that stood out as decent, but lunch and dinner were nothing special. Also, while the beach looks nice, the high tide really kills the vibe since you can’t enjoy it for most of the day.
