Krasny hotel s krásnou pláži, občas je trochu otravné nabízení suvenýry na pláži, ale po pár dnech, když vas nechají být. Ihned po příjezdu nam byl přidělen provizorní pokoj, aby jsme se měli kde zrelaxovat, coz bylo velmi příjemné. Nas komorník Akshay byl starostlivý. Jeho služeb jsme sice v podstatě nevyužili, ale kdyby bylo potreba, jsem si jistá, že by pomohl vse vyřešit. Personal byl velmi přátelský a milý. Diky za skvele užitý cas!💙

9 of us had the pleasure of staying at Beachcomber Trou aux Biches on the 10th of April after Turkish airlines cancelled our flight. After spending a horrendous night at another hotel it was a wonderful welcome to stay here. From start to finish we were met with excellent service, beautiful surroundings and luxurious facilities. The check in was swift and we were met with a cold drink and cold towel. They already had our names and allocated us rooms. My husband, 2 children and I were given an oceanfront junior suite which was outstanding and very spacious. The food in L'Oasis buffet restaurant was plentiful with so much choice and of high quality. Service throughout the hotel was excellent. In particular the manager Kervyn ensured everything went smoothly. We were also given late check out as our flight was 11pm which made us all feel at ease. I will 100% be returning here in the future as I can only imagine how amazing it will be after renovations. Thank you again Beachcomber for being a welcome paradise and providing a relaxing stay in a stressful/tiring moment of flight cancellation.

I honestly don’t even know where to start describing our horrible experience at this hotel. First of all, the check-in took more than one hour, which is completely unacceptable. We were attended by incompetent staff who clearly had no idea what they were doing. We were two couples travelling together with a joint reservation, yet they gave us rooms at completely opposite sides of the hotel. They said they “didn’t know” we were together — however, they somehow managed to book restaurants for 4 people for us before arrival without even asking. So that was the first lie. The staff is honestly the most disorganised and unprofessional I have ever seen. I don’t think there was a single time where I asked something and received correct information. We were told we could eat in two restaurants included in our package, but one of them was closed and nobody informed us. They also failed to mention that when it is closed, you can go eat at the beach. When we finally found out and went there, they told us we needed a reservation — but at the same time, it was impossible to book. Completely chaotic. At one point I asked where the nautical club was, and they sent me to the wrong side of the hotel. When I arrived, they told me it was actually on the opposite side. After walking around for 40 minutes (while pregnant), I asked for a buggy and was told to wait 20 minutes — despite supposedly having priority. Honestly, a disgrace. We were also given wrong information about breakfast times at reception (something very basic), and when we arrived almost everything was already closed. What is even worse is that at no point did anyone apologise. The attitude is basically that everything is fine and the problem is the guest. But the worst part of our stay was the way they handled food for my husband, who is celiac and cannot eat gluten. I informed the hotel multiple times before arrival to make sure they could accommodate him. On top of that, at every single meal we informed the waiter, the chef, and confirmed again and again. Still, they served him gluten. Luckily, the bread on the plate made it obvious and we asked before he ate it. They took the plate and brought a new one — again, without a single apology for potentially poisoning my husband. Thank God we didn’t end up in the hospital. After all these incidents, we went to reception and asked to speak to the hotel manager. Once again, a complete waste of time. Instead, they sent a restaurant manager, Kevin Nuckchadee, who was extremely unprofessional. He basically laughed at us and told us he would come to our dinner reservation later to offer compensation. He arrived 30 minutes late, said hello, and that was it. No compensation, no explanation, nothing. If you are not going to offer anything, don’t promise it — it only makes the experience even worse and shows the very low level of professionalism. Also, I must mention that there are rats in the hotel. In summary, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel itself may look nice, but the service is absolutely terrible and completely ruins the experience. ANSWER TO BELOW REVIEW We must clarify that the dinner at Blue Ginger was fully paid by us. There was absolutely nothing offered to us, and no special arrangements were made as you mention. So no, this did not compensate the horrible experience in any way. It is honestly disappointing to read statements that are simply not true.

I stayed two days at Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa. The beach is beautiful, the room was clean, and the food and desserts were very good. The small swimming pool was also very pleasant. I’d like to highlight some excellent staff: Steeve from concierge was very kind, Anne- Becky at reception were extremely helpful, and Wazira from housekeeping was professional and did a great job. However, there were some disappointing points. The service from some waiters was poor. On the first breakfast, no one came to ask if I wanted coffee or tea, and finished plates were not cleared promptly. For a 5-star hotel, this is not acceptable. I’ve stayed at several Beachcomber hotels, including Victoria (a 4-star), where the service was much more attentive and professional. The air conditioning in the room was also weak, which I complained and they try to fix it. In my experience, Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa remains the best 5-star Beachcomber hotel, with stunning views and outstanding hospitality reflected in genuine smiles and helpful service.

We had a wonderful stay at Beachcomber Trou aux Biches, and what truly makes this hotel special is the people. The activity team especially Ludovic, Gregory, and Jeishi are absolutely amazing. They bring such great energy and genuinely create a warm, fun atmosphere. This is exactly the kind of experience that makes you want to come back again and again. We’ve stayed at other beautiful hotels in Mauritius, like LUX* Grand Baie Resort & Residences, but despite being visually stunning, they felt quite soulless very little interaction with staff or other guests, and overall a bit cold for such a vibrant destination. Trou aux Biches, on the other hand, has real soul. The hotel itself is still very beautiful, with lush surroundings and a great beachfront. Some members of the bar and restaurant team also deserve special recognition big thanks to Benito, Krishna, and Salesh for their excellent service and friendliness throughout our stay. If there’s one small downside, it’s that the rooms are starting to feel a bit dated. However, we understand a major refurbishment is planned, which is great news and definitely needed. The main area that could really be improved is the breakfast, which is not quite on par with the rest of the hotel experience and would benefit from a serious upgrade. Overall, a fantastic stay thanks to the incredible team and atmosphere. We can’t wait to be back!
