I stayed at Coral Cliff Beach Resort twice around a ferry transfer to Koh Tao, and it ended up being one of my favorite places on the trip. The room I had was comfortable and clean, which made it an easy place to recharge between travel days. I also liked that it felt relaxed and convenient for a short stay.

Ein wunderschönes Resort mit traumhafter Aussicht ich war absolut begeistert. Der Pool ist einfach ein Highlight und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Der direkte Zugang zum Meer ist perfekt zum Schnorcheln und macht den Aufenthalt besonders. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit man fühlt sich rundum wohl. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist die etwas laute Klimaanlage aber das fällt kaum ins Gewicht. Insgesamt ein großartiger Aufenthalt den ich jederzeit wiederholen würde klare Empfehlung.

The resort has huge potential thanks to its absolutely stunning tropical setting. The resort sits in what truly feels like a little paradise, with lush greenery, beautiful views, and a very charming layout. Honestly, I often wondered why no international luxury hotel chain has taken over this property, because with the right investment it could easily become a spectacular high-end resort. The natural setting is the real highlight. The small beach, the landscaping, and the overall atmosphere are beautiful. That said, the beach area itself feels a bit underutilized and slightly neglected. With more sunbeds, better organization, and perhaps a bit more ambience, it could become a fantastic spot to spend the whole day. 🌴 One of the best aspects of the resort is the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and welcoming — from the friendly front office ladies to the cheerful housekeeping team and the attentive restaurant staff. Their warm attitude really added to the overall experience. 😊 The food was good, with a nice selection available, although I found the prices for local dishes somewhat exaggerated compared to what you can find outside the resort. The gym is decent for basic training, equipped with three treadmills and a bicycle, which is sufficient for a quick workout. During my stay I experienced two room categories: a Deluxe Sea View Room and a Deluxe Sea View Villa. Both have a relatively modern look, but unfortunately they are already quite worn out in places. The bedding was excellent though — very clean, comfortable, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. However, noise insulation is an issue. In the main building room I could hear the road as well as sounds from neighboring rooms. The villa was better regarding road noise, but oddly I could still hear footsteps and even coughing from the adjacent villa, which was surprising. Another downside was the air conditioning. It is extremely noisy and, more importantly, the temperature control didn’t seem to work properly — the room became ice cold regardless of the setting. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, mainly because the location and natural setting are truly beautiful. The price-to-performance ratio is very good, which makes it easy to recommend. Just come with slightly lower expectations regarding room comfort, and you’ll likely have a pleasant stay. 🌺

Just returned from a week at this absolutely exceptional place and I can honestly say it was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Thailand. If 10 stars were an option, this would get them without hesitation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome genuinely kind, warm, and attentive people who clearly care about their guests. A huge thank you to the restaurant team in particular, who were consistently outstanding and made every meal feel special. We stayed in Room 105, a private villa with its own pool and stunning sea views, and it was nothing short of perfect. The villa was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully maintained. The bed was large and incredibly comfortable with amazing pillows, and the shower was excellent (a rare luxury after travelling around Thailand!). Every detail was thought through and added to the feeling of total relaxation. After two weeks of travelling around Thailand, this was exactly what we needed — a peaceful, luxurious place to completely switch off, unwind, and recharge. We ended up eating here most nights because the food and drinks were absolutely delicious, consistently high quality, and honestly some of the best we had on our trip. I truly can’t thank the entire team enough for making our stay so memorable. A special mention must go to Pokie in the restaurant, who went above and beyond and made us feel so looked after. This is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. We’ll be recommending it to everyone we know and would return in a heartbeat. Simply outstanding.

Wir haben das Coral Cliff Resort als krönenden Abschluss unserer Thailand-Reise gebucht und wurden absolut nicht enttäuscht. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön, überaus sauber und extrem gepflegt. Die Poollandschaft ist schlichtweg atemberaubend. Der Infinity-Pool bietet einen echten Wahnsinnsblick auf den Strand und das offene Meer, während der zweite Pool mit einem Whirlpool zum Entspannen einlädt. Sehr angenehm: Wir haben sowohl am Strand als auch am Pool zu jeder Zeit problemlos freie Liegen gefunden. Ein großes Lob geht auch an die Poolbar – das Team dort macht einen fantastischen Job und ist super nett! Das Personal verdient eine ganz besondere Erwähnung: Ausnahmslos alle Mitarbeiter sind extrem aufmerksam, herzlich und bemüht, den Gästen jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abzulesen. Man merkt richtig, wie wichtig es allen ist, dass man eine perfekte Zeit hat. Auch die Massage im Resort war hervorragend und absolut zu empfehlen. Der Strand besteht aus feinem Kiesel. Das Meer ist wegen der Steine im Wasser zum reinen Baden nur eingeschränkt geeignet, eignet sich dafür aber wunderbar zum Schnorcheln! Fazit: Ein traumhaftes Resort mit erstklassigem Service. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
