Could not find fault with the hotel. Everyone works hard to keep hotel clean. The grounds team keep it immaculate, including raking the whole beach everyday. Staff are friendly and the entertainment team were fabulous. Food in restaurants was excellent. If you do any trips, keep fairly local as it takes a long time. We did the catamaran from the beach and a trip to the black river and YS falls.

This hotel is situated on the beach, which is kept beautifully clean and plenty of sun loungers and shaded areas. The blue hut vendors are very persistent and eager for guests to buy from them. A polite no usually does the trick. We had a garden room which also had a view of the beach, as it was top floor. The only negative was no lift, but we managed. Food was good, plenty of choice and the staff were very attentive. The staff are professional and do their job well, but not always overly friendly; except Kevin in the Sports Bar - he is lovely!!! There is a daily shuttle bus which takes guests to Margaritaville for free; only the one trip a day so you have to get to reception early to get a place. The beach at Seven Mile will blow your mind - it is breathtaking!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I have been staying at this resort for many years and am always treated great by all of the staff. The youthful entertainment staff does a great job engaging with guests and their evening shows maintain that engagement. The remodel is very nice, though some of my favorite spots disappeared and I had to find new spots. The food at the buffet is very good, but not spectacular and could definitely use some variety from one day to the next. My memory may be wrong, but I feel as though it had more variety in the past. Two of my pet peeves are: one the main washroom though central is nowhere near the restaurants (they could have addressed this during the renovations, and the toilet paper is more suited to a remote highway gas station restroom than a 4/5 star resort. The lack of variety in the meals and even the horrendous toilet paper could very well be residual effects of hurricane Melissa.

The hotel is a bit far from the airport, but the beach is clean and well-maintained. The beach water is crystal clear. We saw many small fishes, starfish, and even stingray while swimming. The food was great with good rotations that made the experience very enjoyable. I personally enjoyed the lobster and steak night. Overall, the service is excellent! People are friendly and always have a friendly smile. I want to personally thank Daniel! He's very friendly and a wonderful host.

Beautiful hotel, with lovely spacious clean rooms. Food was really good, l tryed out nearly all the restaurants, absolutely loved the fine dinning experience. The service was friendly amazing atmosphere good vibes. Partys and entertainment was great fun to watch. This hotel resort has a magical touch you can just kick back and enjoy by the pools or dip in the sea. What stood out was the fact that they aslo offered free activities sailing, padded bording classes, also shuttle rides to another beach / party etc. Best hoilday didn’t want to leave. Definitely 5 star, definitely returning. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Good evening, the family is quite disappointed in the lack of professionalism when booking à la carte dinners and the attitude of staff in general. Don’t get me wrong not everyone is rude or “short” thereof. However I feel that if it’s not a white person, they’re not as accommodating. A simple request to the dj turned into “I can’t do that, I can’t take requests I need to download the son first” - in alll of our years a DJ has never turned down a request of the audience. John Wayne and his team are the best! So patient, kind and generous. They’re quite professional and knowledgeable on all things related to beautiful Jamaica as a whole. The dinners are bare mediocre. They appear to be rushing guests while they’re trying to enjoy their meals. So far the Mandalay buffet and the Green Island are great! The bar in the lobby is also awesome! Do better Riu, so many people anticipated otherwise, rooms weren’t ready, they were waiting around for hours. The Costa Rica Riu is far more accommodating and welcoming. Common courtesy to say “good morning” “good afternoon” goes a far way. The overall resort is beautiful and quite clean but do better considering how you’ve handled members of the family.
