Wir waren bereits im letzten Jahr Gäste im Dara Samui in Chaweng. Für unseren diesjährigen Urlaub war das Hotel leider bereits ausgebucht – und genau dadurch wurde uns erst richtig bewusst, wie sehr wir unseren Aufenthalt dort vermisst haben. Rückblickend können wir sagen, dass das Dara Samui einer der Hauptgründe dafür ist, warum wir uns in Thailand und in seine herzlichen Menschen verliebt haben. Im Vergleich zu unserem Hotel in diesem Jahr ist uns noch einmal bewusst geworden, wie viel Atmosphäre eine kleinere, familiäre Hotelanlage schaffen kann. Genau diese persönliche Note macht das Dara Samui zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Man ist nicht einfach nur Gast – man fühlt sich willkommen und aufgehoben. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, großzügig geschnitten und jederzeit makellos sauber. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich, frisch und lecker – hier findet wirklich jeder etwas nach seinem Geschmack. Auch die hotelinternen Veranstaltungen sorgen dafür, dass man Land, Leute und die thailändische Gastfreundschaft noch intensiver erleben kann. Der Pool ist zwar eher klein, aber absolut ausreichend und sehr gepflegt. Der Strand ist wunderschön mit feinem Sand. Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt ist, dass man bei Ebbe aufgrund des sehr flachen Wassers leider nicht schwimmen kann. Dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts. Was dieses Hotel aber wirklich einzigartig macht, ist das gesamte Team. Vom Check-in bis zum Check-out wurden wir mit einer Herzlichkeit, Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft empfangen, die wir so selten erlebt haben. Dieses Jahr sind wir extra noch einmal kurz vorbeigekommen, nur um "Hallo" zu sagen. Dass sich Bee und ihre Kollegen tatsächlich noch an uns erinnert haben und uns so herzlich begrüßten, war ein absoluter Gänsehautmoment und hat uns tief berührt. Genau solche Momente bleiben im Herzen und machen den Unterschied. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für diese unvergessliche Gastfreundschaft. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf ein Wiedersehen!

Dies ist ein wunderschönes Hotel mit seht guter und ansprechender Küche. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal ist sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wird einem jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Die Zimmer sind groß und liebevoll eingerichtet. Sie sind sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Das Hotel ist ein toller Ort zum Entspannen. Es wird sehr familiär geführt. Hier arbeitet der Chef noch mit und unterstützt seine Arbeiter. Das finde ich sehr lobenswert. Ganz besonders möchte ich 2 Personen danken, die mir sehr ans Herz gewachsen sind. Tor und Dear sind die freundlichsten und herzlichsten Menschen die ich in den 2 Wochen hier kennenlernen durfte. Freut euch frauen ihnen hier in diesem Paradies zu begegnen. Das Hotel mit seinem ganzen Personal ist was einzigartiges. Vielen Dank euch allen für diesen unvergesslichen Urlaub 🙏

We stayed at Dara Samui for 13 nights and truly cannot fault a single thing — it was an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. The hotel has the feel of a small, intimate boutique property, and the style and design throughout are genuinely special — elegant, unique, and full of character. What stood out most, though, was the staff. I have honestly never encountered a team so warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The level of service here is in a league of its own. Breakfast was delicious and varied every day, and our room was beautifully appointed. We will absolutely be coming back, and we recommend this hotel without any hesitation. A hidden gem — don't miss it!

Update : Merci pour votre réponse et votre minutieuse enquête concernant la nature de l’insecte écrasé avec professionnalisme devant les clients dans le hall de l’hôtel… Le séjour se résume en quelques points : 1/ odeurs de moisi épouvantable dans deux chambres sur 3 que nous avons eues. Moite et impossible d’y dormir. Merci au personnel de nous avoir surclassé, mais cela n’a pas changé grand chose. 2/ Préservatifs à l’entrée de la chambre en guise de bienvenue… 3/ Vétuste, piscine sans intérêt. 4/ 10 minutes d’attente au départ pour vérifier la chambre ( ce qui est normal, mais dans une ambiance pesante) 5/ personnel tantôt agréable ( adorable au restaurant et au PDJ, petites attentions) tantôt odieux 6/ cafard écrasé par le personnel devant l’accueil… En bref établissement à fuir. Aucun entretien, aucun intérêt, sinistre.

This hotel is superb thanks to its excellent location: it offers direct access to the beach and is not too far from shopping and entertainment venues, yet remains very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. The staff is always attentive to needs and quickly learns guests' preferences. The breakfast is extensive, and the restaurant offering is also very comprehensive, with the option to dine with your feet in the sand on the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Dara Samui Beach Resort, and we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the amazing staff. A special thank you to the front desk team, especially Pin and Nam. They were incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to help. They went above and beyond by being flexible with our cooking class reservation, allowing us to cancel it and later rebook it without any problem. Their warm, caring, and respectful attitude made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. We would also like to thank the kitchen team, led by Chef Kak, who made our cooking class an unforgettable experience. The class was excellent, with a great variety of delicious dishes, and Chef Kak was very attentive and sensitive to our special dietary needs. His passion, patience, and professionalism made the experience even more enjoyable. A special thank you also goes to the photographer, who accompanied us throughout the entire cooking class. He captured so many beautiful moments with kindness, patience, and a smile, giving us wonderful memories that we will cherish for years to come. We truly appreciate the warm hospitality we received from everyone at the hotel. The genuine care, friendliness, and outstanding service made our stay truly special. We will definitely recommend Dara Samui Beach Resort to our family and friends and hope to return in the future.
