Good location in the St Lawrence gap. Plenty of nice restaurants in the area. The property itself is disappointing. Restrooms in common areas are dirty. We reported that twice ( restrooms attached to the restaurant/ beach area) have still not been cleaned ebbed after we reported it 2 days ago. To think that workers in the restaurant have been using that restroom and not washing their hands with soap - since the soap dispenser was not working, and then preparing and serving food, is very off putting. The TVs have a very limited channel selection , the restaurants in the neighborhood show sports etc but the hotel has got a very limited selection. Th bathrooms in the rooms emit a strange chemical smell. Might be the cleaning agents they use. The AC in the room is super loud - like a jet engine. There is absolutely zero evening entertainment on the property. I wouldn’t come back to this place. I’ll look for others in Barbados. This was a real disappointment particularly for the price.

The only good thing I can say about this place is the location. Close to some very good restaurants and bars. The room a/c was very loud, the water pressure in the shower was absolutely horrendous (not just our room either), literally trickled out. No nightlife entertainment, 1 restaurant that was ridiculously expensive, especially breakfast, which was terrible. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Will not be going back to this "resort."

Great set up with the lounge/kitchen area. Sofa a little uncomfortable, but we weren't here to sit on the sofa. Lovely beach with a fun bit of surf. Definitely worth it for the budget compared to others.

The property needs renovation, elevators, a shower, a toilet broken toilet, personnel are very unfriendly and very inefficient. Only one towel for the beach per day, everything closes at 5:00 pm, no entertainment at all, breakfast is very simple and of poor quality, plus birds all around eating food from your plate, drinks are expensive, and services are in plastic cups. Very boring place, totally. No service at all if you don't ask. The only positive is the beach

As a Divi vacation club member we stayed here for the first time. The people here are amazing, the grounds beautiful and close to the Gap. Our room was horrible. We did not have cold water at all and we told the front desk but nothing ever happened. It was not as clean as I expected it to be and the place was dusty and I found dirty socks behind a night stand. The sliding door to the balcony was broken so we couldn't get out to the balcony. Had it not been for the horrible room I would have given this place a 5 star. Room 514.

This may not be a 5 star resort, but it is still a wonderful hotel. The room I had was nice (penthouse suite) and the cost was reasonable. I can only imagine how this place would be and look with modern upgrades/renovations. If you can get past the hotel not being ultra modern, you will definitely be pleased. Also, the customer service is excellent. I was supposed to checkout at 10 but I was given until 12 to allow my son extra time to enjoy the pool. The staff went above and beyond and they deserve commending (the front desk, Heather, Hamilton, Brian, etc.). They are a great representation of real hospitality. I definately recommend this hotel if you are okay without all the ultra modern luxury bells and whistles that saturates everything these days. However, I don't recommend coming if your expectations are luxury and you like to complain about everything. I usually stay in 5 star and 4 star hotels. This time I took a chance to try something different because of a promotion (i always say you get what you pay for), but I was okay with the hotel and accommodations because I didn't come expecting the four seasons (however the treatment is definitely four seasons quality). The bottom line is, if you are coming to enjoy the resort and staff with open-mindedness, you will leave happy, satisfied, and will return to the hotel again.
