An exceptional experience from beginning to end. The hotel has a wonderful sense of elegance and warmth, with a beautiful ambience that is both luxurious and inviting. The staff deserve a special mention. They were exceptionally courteous, attentive, and professional, yet their hospitality felt genuine and personal. Every interaction reflected a remarkable attention to detail. The dining experience was equally outstanding. The food was beautifully presented, flavourful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. Every meal was a delight. What makes this hotel truly special is the seamless combination of impeccable service, a refined ambience, and excellent cuisine. It was a memorable stay, and we would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an experience that feels both luxurious and genuinely welcoming.

To start I would like to personally thank the staff here. This place was beautifully managed by such kind and welcoming staff, especially Ivan and Mesya. I wish I remembered the staff who cleaned our room too because they did a fabulous job of making sure everything was perfect. The hotel breakfast had a variety of delicious food and I especially liked the addition of Indonesian sweets added to the buffet. Our balcony unfortunately was looking at a wall so this was a huge let down and I believe an issue with the hotel design. The location of the hotel is at the start of Ubud which I liked as it was our first stop when arriving and the car ride was long enough.

The hotel rooms are a bit small.. I love it over all. I love the shower and the balcony setup.. They have free wifi, free breakfast every morning 6am-10:30am.. The air is up on freeze though. I was told to call up front are them to turn it down..The service was good no problem checking in.. The scenery is beautiful. I came in really late it was dark so I know its beautiful in the day.

I felt very comfortable and at home here. 10/10 experience at Sthala. I stayed solo for four nights in June. The grounds are very safe with many staff always present. The gate staff check each car and motorbike to make sure it is for guest access only. There is even a crossing guard to help across the street. The free shuttle to Ubud center is helpful and I really liked both pools. The breakfast has local Indonesian dishes which I mainly ate as well as custom eggs and coffee beverages. They care about their clients’ needs. There were many families which is nice but also can be too rambunctious some days with screaming in the pool. There seemed to be many South Asian/Indian guests and the hotel menu reflects this by offering masala chai and varying Indian dishes like poori and sambar at breakfast which I was pleased to see. My favorite was the generosity, kindness, and warmth from all the staff, but namely Hendra, Adit, and Vika especially. If you are blessed to cross their paths you will be better for it.

I had a wonderful stay at Sthala, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud Bali. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful jungle scenery and offers a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy areas of Ubud. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with lovely views of nature. What truly made the experience special was the exceptional hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the rooftop area was perfect for enjoying the sunset. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in Ubud with beautiful surroundings, great service, and a true Balinese atmosphere, I highly recommend Sthala Hotel. I would definitely love to stay here again.

slightly off of the center of the Ubud, but that gives you quiet and relaxing stay - the hotel have shuttle service to the city center. all staff are very lovely, memorize your name very quickly and making sure everything is ok. I participate in the free morning walking tour, the hotel staff (guide) is knowledgeble and shared Bali's culture and history - let us walk into his house where his mother was cooking :-). Sorry I failed to remember his name but he is the best. Also, special thanks to Sui, Wulan and Dowi - always smile and assist me with my stay. Swimming pool can be bit
