I recently stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and had a wonderful experience overall. Our room featured an absolutely amazing ocean view that was easily the highlight of our trip. The housekeeping team was fantastic, and every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly and welcoming. We especially loved the thoughtful in-room perks, like the complimentary reusable water bottles and the beach bag, which were incredibly handy for our daily outings. The resort’s location is also hard to beat, with endless shopping and dining options right at your doorstep, and Guest Services made booking our activities a breeze. The only downside was the check-in process. While it was fast and easy, we weren't given any property orientation. I found myself having to head back to the desk or hunt for staff to ask for the basics: -The WiFi login and location of the elevators. -Which floors the restaurants were located on. -How to access the pool and beach area. -Where to pick up beach towels. The staff was helpful once asked, but a quick "lay of the land" at check-in would have made the start of the trip much smoother. That said, the views and the hospitality were excellent, and I would definitely stay here again!

Extremely disappointing experience. I came to Hawaii expecting a relaxing vacation, but instead I dealt with construction noise starting around 9 AM that made it extremely difficult to sleep or properly rest. During my stay, I was also constantly sneezing, experiencing headaches, and feeling physically uncomfortable. What has made the situation even more frustrating is how the hotel has handled my complaint. Instead of taking responsibility and working with me toward a reasonable resolution, I have been repeatedly asked to provide additional “proof” and have had to go back and forth just to request a refund. I was also questioned about why I didn’t simply change hotels. By that point, I only had about one day left of my trip. Expecting a guest to pack all of their luggage, find another hotel, check out, relocate, and check in somewhere else during the last day of a vacation is completely unreasonable. I paid to stay somewhere I could sleep, rest, and enjoy my vacation. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I received, and the way my complaint and refund request have been handled has only added more stress to an already disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience, especially to anyone expecting a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION....The website says renovated but as of 7/26 it was far from. Plywood hallways, virtually no lobby, workers everywhere and noise from power tools. I was on a conference call from my room at 9AM and had to cancel it as they couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear them. No consideration was given on rate, etc. They say it's listed on their website but they fail to paint the accurate picture. For the price, I'd look elsewhere.

The Outrigger was a disappointment, I will never stay here again. First of all, the renovation was overwhelming, waking up to hammering, drilling, pounding, etc., was a bit much. Now we know why the price was so cheap! Trust me, go elsewhere. Our room had the access panel fall off, exposed wiring, exposed metal studs, that was scary. Next, the lock protection was not screwed on properly ( according to the staff assistant who helped us) we were locked out of our room! The incident took 15-25 minutes for the staff member to unlock our room. The lock was removed, afterwards; our deadbolt on the door would not lock. I did not sleep knowing it wouldn’t lock. We had no iron or ironing board, clothes get wrinkled in suitcases. We had a steam iron that did not work! The width of the shower is so TINY, I kept hitting elbow on the shower door, OUCH! We had to flag down the pool attendant for cocktails, shouldn’t she ask EVERYONE “do you need anything?”. A child vomit in the pool, they closed the pool for 30 minutes! Is that the time limit for vomit in a pool? This wasn’t a relaxing vacation I had hoped for, it was a disaster. Never again,

Pretty awesome location and the staff is amazing. Right near international marketplace and on the beach. Only major annoyance is it's been under construction for our visit last year and this year and it's a lot of mess. Our rooms this year were in the newly remodelled floors and they had shrunk the rooms a bit (or the layout is less well laid out) and removed a bunch of storage. No microwave so leftovers aren't really salvageable. No freezer so same with desserts.

今回宿泊した客室は、ちょうどリノベーションが完了したばかりのクラブルームで、とても満足しました。客室は非常にきれいで快適で、設備も新しく、滞在中は気持ちよく過ごすことができました。ホテルの立地も素晴らしく、スタッフの対応も親切でした。 一方で、とても残念だった点があります。それは、Voyager 47 Club（クラブラウンジ）がリノベーション中で利用できなかったことです。 宿泊前にホテルへ問い合わせた際には、Voyager 47 Club benefits（ラウンジでの朝食やイブニングカクテルなど）が利用できるような案内を受けていたため、それを楽しみに予約しました。しかし、実際にはクラブラウンジは改装中で利用できず、そのことを知らされたのはチェックイン時でした。 代替として、ホテル内レストランで利用できる1日100USD分のバウチャーを提供していただき、その対応には感謝しています。しかし、私たちが期待していたのは食事だけではありません。ワイキキビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドの景色を眺めながら、クラブラウンジでゆったりと朝食やイブニングカクテルを楽しむという体験そのものを楽しみにしていました。そのため、バウチャーだけでは期待していた体験を補うことはできませんでした。 最も残念だったのは、ホテル側はクラブラウンジが利用できないことを事前に把握していたはずなのに、その情報が宿泊前には一切共有されず、むしろクラブ特典が利用できるような案内がされていたことです。そして、その事実をチェックインの瞬間まで知らされなかったことで、不信感を抱きました。 客室そのものは素晴らしく、リノベーション直後のきれいな部屋に宿泊できたことには大変満足しています。それだけに、クラブラウンジの利用可否については、宿泊前の時点で正確かつ透明性のある案内をしていただきたかったです。その点が改善されれば、さらに安心して利用できるホテルだと思います。
