I had an awesome experience here. There are so many things I love about the hotel. It is so family friendly, they had so many fun activities at different times of the day. There was constant supply of very delicious food and drinks with alot of variety. The beach was another beautiful thing. Most importantly, the staff especially Yassine and Nida were exceptional. They were so friendly, so helpful and very proactive. They made it feel like home. I will definitely be coming back.

We stayed here during July 2026 and have had an amazing holiday. We booked through Jet2 and the reps were available every day in the lobby and happy to help. We stayed all inclusive and the food was amazing. Varied throughout our 7 days and was great to see the Moroccan section offering local dishes every day. Hassan in the restaurant was brilliant, there was 5 of us and he looked after us each day with tables and was very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable me. The rooms are large and spacious and the housekeeping was excellent. Mona was the housekeeper on our floor and she was great. Came back if we were still in the room when she called. The room was immaculate and she left lovely touches every day. All the entertainment staff were engaging but not pushy if you didn’t want to take part in events. We went on two excursions, the Agadir city tour with cable car which was great and we also did the buggy tours through the sand dunes, some of the most breathtaking views! We chose this hotel as we had stayed previously in an Iberostar in Marrakech and this hotel didn’t disappoint! The hotel was lovely and clean, grounds well maintained, pool was clean and plenty of space for everyone. The staff ultimately make this a great holiday and would highly recommend.

We have just got back from a family holiday with our four year old son at Iberostar and it was a huge success. The hotel is really well-managed and the customer service was off the charts. The staff at the hotel were so warm and professional, and we felt really well looked after throughout our stay. The hotel is huge and there is so much to do in terms of pool, entertainment etc that you don't really need to leave. However the local area is really interesting to explore (souk al Had, kasbah, Medina etc) so I definitely recommend getting out and about. The hotel staff can help you organise everything. The beach is right next to the hotel and is absolutely massive. I particularly enjoyed the in-house dance/entertainment team - I was not expecting that! Very talented bunch. They even put on a Bollywood dance show one night which was very charming. The only thing I would say this hotel could improve on is sound proofing. You can hear more noise in the hotel rooms from the corridor than is ideal, but it wasn't the end of the world. We would definitely consider coming back, and I take my hat off to all the staff at Iberostar for their hard work!! We appreciate it!

I have stayed at many hotels over the years, but what made this trip truly special were the people. Khalid was fantastic throughout our stay. He always made sure we could relax in the evenings, enjoy the shows and make the most of our holiday. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble and he made us feel genuinely welcome from day one. Fifi is simply a bundle of joy. She is always smiling, full of energy and genuinely wants guests to have a great time. Her positivity is infectious and she has a natural ability to bring people together and make everyone feel included. She is a real credit to the hotel. The hotel itself is in a beautiful location with excellent access to the beach, the souks and the local attractions. Everything was within easy reach, making it a great base for exploring Agadir. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean. One thing that really stood out was how peaceful the hotel was at night. We slept brilliantly throughout our stay, with minimal noise and a very relaxing atmosphere. The all inclusive package offers excellent value for money and even on our departure day we were able to continue using the facilities and enjoy lunch before leaving. A wonderful holiday made even better by Khalid and Fifi. Thank you both for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back.

We visited end of July - beginning of August for 12 nights. 2 adults and a teenager and we were allocated 2 rooms next to each other. Rooms: Good size rooms with balcony, aircon, comfy beds, good pillows and bed covers. Cleaned daily to a high standard. Bathroom and bathroom towels a bit tired but perfectly usable. Pools and outside spaces: cleaned every morning, kept gardens with pretty trees and plants. Sunbeds are plentyful but get reserved early. I mean at 6.40am front rows and " best places" were taken with towels. You can find sunbeds at 8-9am but can't be picky. Saw some lifeguards bringing mattresses out to big four poster beds for some money in their pocket- guess they were reserved the night before. Only witnessed one sunbed argument during our stay. Lots of the beds have a towel on them and you dont see the people all day. Staff: at the reception , bars and restaurant everyone was polite and friendly. Lifeguards chatted mostly with other employees, didnt come in contact with them so cant comment.security guys always smiling and saying hello. Food and drinks: plenty of variety, good quality, warm or cooled as it should be. We liked having small breakfast at the pool restaurant, the chef there was friendly and cooked great omelette. Main restaurant was a buffet and if no tables were ready, someone would come and clean one for you quickly. Soft drinks machines occasionally didn't work / got empty due to volume of people getting drinks. Filtered drinking water machines in corridors are great and water is cold. Sport: chose this hotel because it offered sport facilities ( especially basketball and beach volleyball) Volleyball court within the hotel wasn't being used instead we played on the beach. Not a great net but it was fun. Didn't go to the gym. Multisports court was disappointing. It was in a poor state with 2 basketball hoops on the side. One of them very bent. You end up just practising shots as can't play a game . Fence around it had holes in and occasionally the ball would bounce out. Tennis courts looked OK but we have not tested them. Entertainment: the staff were polite, friendly but not pushy to get you come to their daily activities. Evening entertainment: singer or musician in the lobby or downstairs bar area ( AMAZING TALENTED PEOPLE) and entertainment team dancing to various music on the main stage by the pools. Have seen better acts but it was ok. Spa: had a hammam and massage package. Have asked for sports massage but got a nice relaxing one for some reason. Daughter has a japanese style head massage treatment and enjoyed it . I would recommend the spa , it was excellent. Beach is amazing, sandy with waves to jump over. Can get busy with locals but the hotel has a private part with sunbeds. All in all a nice hotel and I would recommend it to anyone. There is also room for improvement as in any hotel you stay at.

The Iberostar Waves is a fantastic hotel. It’s located right on the beach, with a private section reserved exclusively for hotel guests. The hotel caters for all dietary requirements, with plenty of choice at every meal. The hotel, rooms, and grounds were all kept spotlessly clean, and we always felt very safe thanks to the attentive security staff, including the numerous night guards. There was always plenty to do during the day, along with great entertainment every evening. Every single member of staff we encountered was polite, helpful, and incredibly hardworking, but one star shone brighter than the rest – Fifi from the entertainment team. She is a true asset to the hotel. Such a beautiful soul! We would absolutely love to come back and stay here again one day. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable holiday.
