I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa has been incredibly frustrating from the moment we arrived. When we checked in five days ago, we were told to come back after 3 PM because one of the two rooms we had booked was not ready. When we returned, there was only one person working at the front desk, and we had to stand in line for over 30 minutes just to get our room numbers. After that, we were told to wait for a shuttle to take our luggage to the room. What we were not told was that this would mean another 45 minutes of waiting in the lobby, in hot weather, with a one-year-old baby. Once we finally got to the room, things got worse. The door lock wasn’t working because the battery was dead. We called for help and were told someone would come “shortly.” Instead, we ended up waiting outside our room for over two hours, making multiple calls and speaking to several different staff members. No one seemed to communicate with each other, and nobody treated the issue with any urgency. Eventually, I had to go all the way back to the lobby and raise my voice before a manager finally got involved. Even then, we waited another 20 minutes before someone came to fix it. Tonight, it’s happening again. Our AC has not been working for the past three hours. We’ve called multiple times and have again been told someone will come “shortly.” It’s now almost midnight, and I’m sitting here sweating on the sofa in a hot room, still waiting for someone who apparently isn’t in any rush to help. This level of lack of accountability and communication among staff is unacceptable for a resort of this level. What makes this even more disappointing is that we previously stayed at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa and had a fantastic experience. Because of that, we gave the brand another chance in the Dominican Republic — which was also a terrible experience — and now again here in Jamaica. At this point, it’s clear the problem is not bad luck — it’s poor management and service standards. The location is beautiful, but unfortunately the service completely ruins the experience. A luxury resort should not leave guests waiting hours for basic issues like room access or air conditioning. Very disappointing stay. I’m surprised it has 4.8 ratings. Probably because of how they chase people to write them a review while sitting on top of their head.

Here’s a version that reads naturally as a Google review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Without a doubt, this was the best holiday we’ve ever had! We stayed as a family of three (2 adults and our 13-year-old son), and every part of our stay exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent throughout. We had breakfast every morning at the Blue Lagoon buffet, where there was plenty of choice and everything was delicious. A special thank you to Kerona Campbell, who looked after us so well every morning. Her friendly smile, excellent service and genuine kindness made such a difference to the start of each day. The speciality restaurants were fantastic too. Our favourites were the Indian restaurant and the Teppanyaki – both offered amazing food and a great dining experience. The entertainment team really made our holiday. They were full of energy, got everyone involved and created such a fun atmosphere every day. A huge thank you to Daniel and Daniel (the young lady), who were absolutely brilliant and made our stay even more memorable. The hotel was beautiful, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. We made memories that we’ll never forget. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun-filled family holiday. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so special!

We had a fabulous time at this resort. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had a spa service massage with Fiona that was excellent. Our dedicated concierge, Colleen was so sweet and very helpful. On our second to last night, we had dinner at the El Dorado steakhouse and had the absolute pleasure of dining in Susheene's section. She was attentive, personable, and has such a fun personality! Definitely would recommend this resort for those looking for an all-inclusive with lots to do on site!

Had a wonderful night at the their Italian restaurant Portofino. Our server teshanna was friendly and welcoming. Food was top notch , especially their salad bar. Great lighting and lovely art all overt the place. Would recommend 100%

Jillisa at bhogali was such a sweet heart Melissa Rose in Poseidon was an incredible server, extremely happy with her service & she made our stay feel extra special ♥️ Jesseka Harris in el dorada. Fantastic Kelecia Shaw was amazing in El dorado for breakfast. I had the Rancheros for breakfast & she even asked how I wanted them doing. They arrived perfectly, kudos to the kitchen staff too!

Overall, our stay at the resort was good. We traveled with a party of 11 and it was good overall. Our check in was delightful with the service provided by karma. She made the process seemless. Delroy in the main dining hall was amazing. He was very attentive and accommodating of our large party. Oshane from Xaymaica was a good server who was patient and adaptable. The kids play water park was fun for our 5 and 2 year old. Also the big pool was not too deep which made it ok for the kids to swim also. The lifeguards were very vigilant which made us feel more comfortable around the pool area. The beach was nice but had lots of seaweed. The kids didn't mind it. The music and bars were on point. Good vibes and good drinks. If you have kids I would recommend staying in the buildings in the 30s as we stayed in 19 and 20 which were a good walk for the kids from the pool, beach, and kids club. Overall, a great experience.
