The hotel itself has many positive aspects, especially for families with children. The common areas and lounge are beautiful and spacious, the outdoor areas and pools are very nice, and there are different shows and activities for children in the evening. The food was also very good, with plenty of variety and fresh options. Unfortunately, our experience was seriously affected by the way the staff handled a major problem with our room. After spending several days in the room, we discovered significant humidity and mold inside the wardrobe, with damaged wood, a very strong smell and small insects related to the humidity. Our clothes had been stored there throughout our stay. The smell became so strong that one night I could barely sleep. We contacted reception and they sent a technician to inspect the room. He immediately recognized the humidity problem. What happened afterwards was extremely disappointing. Nobody from reception contacted us to apologize, explain what they would do, or offer a solution. I had to go personally to reception and chase them for an answer. Even worse was the attitude. Instead of acknowledging the problem, we were made to feel as if we were creating an issue because, according to them, nobody had previously complained about that room. Whether somebody complained before or not is irrelevant when there is visible humidity, mold, damaged wood, insects and a strong smell in a room where a family with two young children is staying. Only after we requested the official Hoja de Reclamación did they finally offer us another room. At that point we had to pack and move all our belongings, without any real assistance from the hotel. I effectively lost half a day of my vacation dealing with the situation, moving our things and discussing the problem with reception and management. Problems can happen in any hotel. What makes the difference is how they are handled. A simple apology, immediate ownership of the situation and a reasonable solution would have completely changed our perception. Instead, the attitude from reception and management made an already unpleasant room issue considerably worse. It is a shame because the hotel has very good facilities, good food and a lot to offer families. But based on our experience, the customer service and the way this complaint was managed were far below what I would expect from a hotel of this level.

Un hôtel trouvé par hasard et un séjour juste incroyable ! Une qualité de dingue, propreté difficile à trouver ailleurs, exigence du détails. Première fois que l’on trouve enfin un hôtel qui surveille que personne ne « réserve » ses transat le matin. Les repas sont excellents, très variés et de qualité. Le nombres de piscines est incroyable. Le kids club était parfait, notre fille Nina s’est régalé et c’est rare ! Le coin adulte +18 sur le rooftop est le gros + auquel on s’attend même pas. WoW ! Piscine intérieure aussi avec spa et massage. Les chambres sont toujours nickel. Tout est moderne et nettoyer non stop. Les cocktails et boissons à un prix imbattable si vous n’avez pas pris le all inclusive. Des activités toutes les 5 min pour tout le monde. Plusieurs spectacles le soir pour adultes et enfants. Nous n’avions jamais vu cette qualité de service et nous voyageons énormément. Merci et bravo ! Nous reviendrons l’année prochaine c’est certains !

The perfect resort for a family holiday. Having never booked an all inclusive holiday before, we relied heavily on reviews of the hotel and they lived up to and exceeded expectations. The hotel is very clean, in a great location to quickly get to the beach and the town, and delivered on brilliant service. Each member of staff we interacted with, from front desk, housekeeping, bar, poolside and restaurant were friendly, understanding, accommodating and made us feel like VIPs. We can’t recommend this hotel enough for travellers of all ages but especially young families - they’ve got everything you need for a fun holiday and exemplify ‘family-friendly’. We’ll certainly book again!

Me and my husband booked a last min trip to here last week. We had an amazing time. The old town is charming and the hotel is great. The rooms are good, the entertainment was good and the rooftop adults only area was amazing with great views. The food is lovely and lots of options but the food at night is not very hot. This seems to be the case with most all-inclusive hotels. It also wasn't very clear of what times the bars, restaurants and activities were starting and finishing. We were told to look at the board but we couldn't find this info. However we had an amazing stay, much needed chilled week away. I would definitely recommend for family's more than couples as there's loads of kids but we had a great relaxing time. We also recommend the restaurant, La Piccola Nostra in the old town. The seafood is amazing and the staff is great. Thank you again Golden Bahia.

Hotel trouvé apres plusieurs recherches sur la costa brava et nous n'avons pas été déçu Situé a moins de 15min a pied de la plage, (point important pour nous pour éviter d'utiliser souvent la voiture) 4 piscine disponible ( 3 extérieur et 1 intérieur) + zone spa jacuzzi Nous avons pris la chambre standard avec balcon. Elle etait très bien placé au 5ème étage avec une très belle vue. La seul chose "gênante" est la tv qui est un peut daté, une tv connecté aurait été un vrai plus selon moi. La chambre a été parfaitement nettoyé par la femme de ménage a chaque fois. Les piscines sont assez vite rempli et jusqu'à quasiment la fin de la journée. il faut donc arriver assez tôt si l'on souhaite faire quelques longueurs. Selon moi il faudrait faire une zone pour les jeux ballon dans les piscines. tout le monde se met a jouer au ballon dans toutes les piscines et occuper beaucoup de place et ca nous empêche de bouger. Également pour les bébé et enfants il y a des piscines adéquate mais les parents les amènent avec les adultes et on revient au problème précédant. Pour la restauration c'était assez mitigé, il y'avait ce quil fallait mais pour un hotel de ce type je m'attendais a mieux et c'est quasiment toujours les meme choses. Le soir il y a énormément de plat a base de porc, quand on en prend pas on fini par manger tout le temps la meme chose et beaucoup sont surgelés comme les frites, pizza, desserts, viennoiserie etc.. (C'est le point qui m'a le plus dérangé ) les piscines ferment assez tôt mais il y a tous les soirs des animations ( chanteurs, pianiste, Dj, bingo etc.)

Estuve tres días con mi pareja alojados en este hotel y aunque en términos generales está bastante bien hay cosas que creo que podrían mejorarse: 1. LLegamos con anticipación y a las 10:30 h ya estaba lista nuestra habitación. Solo queríamos dejar las maletas en la consigna y esperar y fue una grata sorpresa saber que ya podíamos acceder, con lo cual se agradece mucho. 2. Cuando hicimos el check in, nadie nos explicó absolutamente nada de nada. Es un hotel grande y hubiéramos agradecido unas mínimas indicaciones "´rápidas" sobre la marcha y que nos indicara donde estaba el restaurante, y las piscinas y el SPA por ejemplo y las horas de las comidas...insisto rápidamente para ubicarnos un poco. 3. Hay un rooftop solo para mayores de 18 años, que se accede con la activación de las tarjetas. También hay una zona nudista. Personalmente es la zona que más me gustó y disfruté. Aunque las tarjetas estaban mal activadas y fallaron varias veces. Pero insisto, me gustó muchísimo. 4. Es un hotel grande y con mucho movimiento. Me dio la percepción que no se controlaba bien los accesos a los huéspedes y se colaba la gente de la calle. Incluso alguna empleada del hotel me comentó que se habían colado en varias ocasiones. En dos ocasiones en la zona nudista se coló un chico francés que nos incomodó en dos ocasiones. Y digo se coló porque entró seguido de dos clientes del hotel y no parecía tener tarjeta. Al favor del hotel diré que había seguridad que estaba muy encima de todo sin parar de vigilar y dar vueltas por las instalaciones, pero bajo mi punto de vista insuficiente. 5. La zona del SPA me gustó mucho por 6 euros, creo que merece la pena aprovecharlo. Tenía incluso una piscina de agua helada que se ve poco. 6. En cuanto a la comida, me pareció buen y muy variada, pero lamentablemente tuve una experiencia que podría haber acabado muy mal. Cenando unos canelones por la noche encontré un trozo de cristal en la comida que rápidamente escupí. Avisé al personal y éste al gerente del restaurante y dijeron que hablarían con cocina, pero independiente de eso, hubiera agradecido una disculpa. Hablamos de cristal, y no un pequeño trozo. Si me lo trago puede acabar mal. Entiendo que las cocinas y a éste volúmen pueden ocurrir cosas, pero en el caso de un cristal podría haber sido muy grave si no escupido a tiempo. Me ha pasado en otros restaurantes: un pelo, un plástico de un envase....pero un ¿un cristal? Me generó mucha desconfianza los días siguientes.
