Hi, What a lovely time we had here last week. Myself, wife and daughter stayed here for 7 days. Met by Oscar in reception on Friday he went over and above to assist with my request to be placed in adjacent rooms. Excellent views felt like I was on a cruise liner looking at the sea. We are mostly vegetarian/vegan we mentioned this on the first day and we're given taylor made bespoke food for the rest of the week upon request, the choice is excellent in any case especially the dessert yummy. The entertainment staff and the shows provided are really good ,bingo every night light hearted and fun followed by a different show. Dancing, circus acts,Singers we really liked it and the qualities of the performers was superb. Lovely pool clean and fresh well kept gardens all round 100%. The thing that was the best were the staff in every department kind,helpfull,funny and enthusiastic smartly turned out and happy. Well done xx

I am not sure how this is a 5 star hotel. 3 at best. Parts of the hotel are very dated (parts of the ceiling literally looked like they were going to fall in) and constant smell of drains in our room and near the pool. The all inclusive isn't really all inclusive which is very confusing as there was no mention in our booking that some stuff was not included. The all inclusive cocktails were absolutely disgusting, coming from a box. The shaded sun beds were absolutely filthy as well as the towels provided for the pool (had to go and change ours). We had to use towels to block the bathroom from flooding when we had a shower and when we told reception nothing was done. The shower couldn't decide if it was either going to be absolutely freezing or deathly hot (same for the tap) and while I know it is a big hotel cleaning service coming in at 8am was a little disruptive. The children's play area looked like a death trap while the tables on the restaurant balcony for breakfast were extremely rusted and could be dangerous if someone were to cut their foot. Wifi extremely slow also. When asked to borrow an iron was told we could pay a laundry service and when we eventually pushed for on they gave us something that was from the 70s or 80s. Also in snack bar don't advertise certain liqueurs and then give the cheaper versions. I've stayed in other 5 star hotels that make this look like a 1 star. Pros are that the views are exceptional and it is a pleasant walk into town.

Titel: Maximal 3 Sterne – Enttäuschung auf ganzer Linie für ein angebliches 5-Sterne-Hotel Bewertung: 2 / 5 Sternen (oder 3/10) Wer hier ein echtes 5-Sterne-Hotel erwartet, wird gewaltig enttäuscht. Das Hotel Best Semiramis verkauft sich weit unter dem Standard, den man für diese Kategorie bezahlt und erwartet. Mehr als ein einfaches 3-Sterne-Hotel ist das hier definitiv nicht. Essen & Gastronomie: Von 5-Sterne-Küche keine Spur! Das Essen hatte eher Fast-Food-Standard und wurde schnell abgespeist. Es gab zwar Themenabende wie „Mexikanisch“ oder „Italienisch“, aber der einzige Unterschied zu den normalen Tagen war gefühlt, dass die Kellner ein Shirt anhatten, auf dem das jeweilige Motto stand. Kulinarisch gab es da kaum echte Abwechslung oder Qualität. All Inclusive – Eine Enttäuschung: Vorsicht bei All Inclusive! Inklusive sind lediglich Softdrinks vom Spender und absolut minderwertige Spirituosen/Hausmarken. Sobald man etwas Bekanntes oder Ordentliches trinken möchte, muss man kräftig draufzahlen. Das hat absolut nichts mit einem vollwertigen All-Inclusive-Konzept zu tun. Der Höhepunkt zum Schluss: Am Check-out-Tag wird einem sofort das All-Inclusive-Armband abgerissen! Man bekommt danach nicht einmal mehr ein Glas Cola oder etwas zu essen – selbst wenn die Abreise erst später stattfindet. Kundenservice sieht anders aus. Service & Rezeption: Der Service an der Rezeption ist unterirdisch. Von 5 verschiedenen Mitarbeitern, mit denen wir zu tun hatten, war nur eine einzige Dame nett und hilfsbereit. Bei den anderen hatte man das Gefühl, dass es sie schlichtweg nicht juckt („Dein Problem“ – zum Beispiel bei einfachen Fragen wie der WLAN-Anmeldung). Absurde Extra-Kosten (Geburtstag): Ein absoluter Witz: Wenn man zum Geburtstag eine Kleinigkeit oder Torte haben möchte, verlangt das Hotel dafür 40 € – und man bekommt dafür eine kleine Torte mit einer Kerze! Sowas Lächerliches habe ich in einem Hotel noch nie erlebt. Zimmer & Sauberkeit: Gereinigt wurde hier nur sehr oberflächlich. Mehr als grob über den Boden wischen, das Bett machen und die Handtücher aufhängen war nicht drin. Gründliche Sauberkeit sieht anders aus. Hotelzustand & Klima: Im gesamten Hotel ist es extrem warm. In den Gängen steht die Luft regelrecht – sehr stickig, da es dort weder eine vernünftige Lüftung noch eine Klimaanlage gibt. Ein absolutes Sicherheitsbedenken: Der Aufzug hat keinen gültigen TÜV/Prüfstempel mehr und hat ab und zu gewaltig gesponnen. Lage: Die Aussicht ist zugegeben mega und wirklich schön. Es gibt einen Küsten-Lift nach unten, mit dem man in ca. 10 Minuten in der Stadt ist (hoch zu Fuß dauert es steil bergauf etwa 15–20 Minuten). Großer Haken: Der Lift schließt um 22:45 Uhr! Wer danach zurück zum Hotel möchte, muss entweder einen riesigen Umweg von etwa 30 Minuten extra laufen oder ein Taxi nehmen. Lichtblicke / Das einzige Personal, das seinen Job gemacht hat: Ein großes Lob geht an das Animationsteam (die 3 Damen): Sie haben sich vormittags und abends bis 22:45 Uhr wirklich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Ebenso die Pool-Aufpasser, die gefühlt mehr damit beschäftigt waren, den Gästen hinterherzuräumen, als nur am Beckenrand zu sitzen. Diese Mitarbeiter waren die einzigen im gesamten Hotel, die ihren Job richtig und mit Einsatz gemacht haben! Fazit: Keine 5 Sterne, eher 3 Sterne am Minimum. Die schöne Aussicht und das nette Animationsteam retten den veralteten Service, die unfreundliche Rezeption und die ständigen Abzock-Versuche leider auch nicht mehr. Wir würden definitiv nicht noch einmal kommen.

We spent five days at the hotel with my two daughters and had a great time. The hotel is in a beautiful location, stepping out onto the balcony and seeing the ocean in front of us - a fantastic experience. The interior of the hotel would really be nicer with a renovation, but the rooms are well equipped, the beds are very comfortable. There is a large selection of food, which is delicious and varied. Sometimes of course we had to wait for food or in the bars, but with so many guests this is natural. The staff deserves all the praise, they work hard, yet are always kind and helpful, whether it's the waiters, the young people at the pool, or the pretty animators. Special thanks to the cleaning ladies, they were friendly and smiling despite their hard work. Overall, I think the Semiramis is a great hotel in a beautiful location - I hope we will come back!

Estuvimos unos dias alojados en este hotel, la habitacion era super amplia, la cama era muy grande las almuadas de buena calidad. Las vistas desde la habitacion eran increíbles. Habia algunos desperfectos en el baño como que la puerta estaba rota y se podia cerrar bien y un interruptor estaba descolgado. Por lo demas todo bien. La comida era bastante de un bufet normal y corriente de 3 estrellas y no de 5. Habia 2 piscinas y una de ellas tenia agua climatizada y chorros, se estaba super bien. Al ser un hotel construido en un acantilado y tener 16 plantas habia mucho ajetreo con los ascensores en hora punta. Recomiendo este hotel para unas vacaciones en la isla.

Hotel Best Semiramis je nádherný, jeho vybavení je trochu starší, zasloužil by drobné opravy, ale architektonické zasazení do skály je úžasné, vlastně asi ani nemůže mít hotelový pokoj bez výhledu na oceán. Jeho poloha na kraji města nám vyhovovala, mohly jsme pěšky na banánové plantáže a pláže za městem, autem hned na výpadovku a nebo pěšky cca 1,2km do centra. Služby hotelu jsou na vysoké úrovni, včetně kuchyně a vždy usměvavého personálu. Pro někoho může může být problém, že hned u hotelu nejsou pláže, to je vynahrazen vnitřním vyhřívaným bazénem a venkovní opravdu velkým bazénem. Proležet ale dovolenou na Tenerife u bazénu by byl hřích !
