Nestled in a stunning, newly renovated Art Nouveau building right near the edge of the historic Old Town, TRIBE Riga City Centre offers a brilliant blend of modern style and urban convenience. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels vibrant, creative, and effortlessly welcoming. The service throughout the property is exceptional, driven by a genuinely friendly and attentive staff who go out of their way to ensure you feel right at home. Downstairs, the social hub and restaurant space truly shine. The culinary experience at the on-site eatery is superb, featuring a clever fusion menu that cleverly highlights local culinary traditions alongside contemporary favorites. To top it all off, the bar serves up an incredible selection of fresh, ice-cold beers and signature cocktails that pair perfectly with the food. Whether you are unwinding after a long day of exploring the city’s architectural heritage or relaxing in the wellness spa, this stylish hotel provides an unforgettable, comfortable base for any traveler looking to experience the best of Latvia's capital.

I have never experienced such a disappointing stay in a hotel. It was the first time in my life that I had to call the police because of a hotel dispute. We had booked an Executive Room. Upon arrival, we discovered that the fridge the phone and the bathroom light were malfunctioning. We reported the issue to reception, where we were told that, because the hotel was fully booked, we would have to spend the first night in a Standard Room. We were assured that, following the many check-outs the next day, we would be moved back to an Executive Room. Trusting this promise, we accepted the temporary downgrade. The following day, when we asked to be moved to the Executive Room we had originally booked, the receptionist categorically refused. She claimed that no Executive Rooms were available, despite what her colleague had told us the previous day. Instead, she simply offered a €20-per-night refund for the downgrade and informed us that it was impossible to speak to the hotel manager. Naturally, I was extremely upset. I could not understand how the hotel could fail to honour its commitment and then expect us to simply accept the situation without even speaking to a manager. As we were getting nowhere with reception, we had no choice but to call the police. They arrived quickly, and only then did the hotel manager finally agree to meet us. Initially, he refused to speak English and seemed genuinely surprised that we were unhappy. He insisted that refunding the price difference should have been sufficient, while completely overlooking the fact that we had specifically chosen and paid for the Executive Room because of its higher standard and comfort—not merely its price. At that point, we requested the cancellation of the remainder of our stay. We immediately moved to the Mercure Hotel, where, for even less money, we enjoyed a beautiful suite, breakfast included, enough parking places (in TRIBE only 7 are available), and were welcomed by an exceptionally friendly and professional team. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Tribe Hotel. Personally, I will gladly choose Mercure for future stays, where customer service and respect for guests made all the difference.

I booked a Classic Room through the hotel’s app “all accor” based on the photos and description provided. The room was advertised as recently renovated, with beautiful interiors and high ceilings. Unfortunately, what we were given was completely different. When we arrived late at night, we were assigned a room on the attic floor with a sloped ceiling that significantly reduced the usable space. The room looked nothing like the photos in the booking, had an old, noisy air conditioner, and was very hot. Reading in my reservation that I could “enjoy a coffee in a room with high ceilings” felt almost sarcastic given the room we actually received. We informed the front desk that the room did not match what we had booked. The receptionist confirmed that it was indeed considered a Classic Room and explained that the hotel’s renovation is still ongoing. We were told that no other rooms were available except for a Suite, which we were offered at a discounted upgrade price. We ended up paying for the Suite because we simply did not want to spend the night in the room we had been given. However, I don’t understand why I should have to pay extra because the hotel advertises rooms that do not accurately represent what guests may actually receive. Had the real Classic Room been shown in the listing, I would never have booked it. I also don’t think guests should have to spend their first night dealing with problems that were entirely created by the hotel’s misleading presentation instead of being able to check in and relax. The Suite itself was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly what we had expected from the hotel. It had high ceilings, an elegant design, and a wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled completely overshadowed that positive experience. As a result, I cancelled my second night’s stay. I want to emphasize that I have no complaints about the staff. They were friendly, polite, and did what they could within their limitations. In my opinion, the real issue lies with the hotel’s management and whoever is responsible for publishing misleading photos and descriptions that do not reflect the actual rooms being sold.

Staff were friendly, breakfast was good, furnishings and decoration are nice. It was generally a good stay. We loved the spa. The only downside was the size of the room but it was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. It's also quite far from the old town but it was a nice walk

A nice surprise. Recently renovated hotel. I had a very large room, with sofa and large bed. It is really a shame that during the renovation they did not solve the problem of the street noise ,which is very busy even at night and early morning. A room over looking the courtyard would have been better. Nice breakfast. Free sauna and hammam and jaccuzi.
