Como socios de Meliá desde hace casi 20 años, hemos tenido la oportunidad de alojarnos en muchos de sus hoteles, y podemos decir que nuestra estancia en este hotel de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria ha sido realmente muy satisfactoria. Queremos destacar especialmente la atención de Nisamar y de Raúl, que nos hicieron sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Su profesionalidad, cercanía y amabilidad reflejan a la perfección el nivel de servicio que esperamos de la cadena Meliá. Asimismo, todo el personal, tanto en recepción como en los restaurantes, bares y piscinas, ha sido excepcional. El trato recibido ha sido impecable. Las instalaciones comunes están muy cuidadas, las piscinas son magníficas y la oferta de restauración nos ha parecido de gran calidad. En todo momento hemos disfrutado de un ambiente agradable y de un servicio excelente. Nos alojamos en una habitación realmente espectacular por sus dimensiones: muy amplia, con salón, cocina, dos terrazas y unas vistas increíbles. Sin embargo, y como única observación constructiva, creemos que el mobiliario y los baños necesitan una renovación. La madera, algunos acabados y el conjunto de la habitación se perciben algo anticuados para la categoría del hotel. Es una pena, porque con una actualización estaría a la altura del extraordinario servicio que ofrece el establecimiento. En definitiva, ha sido una estancia magnífica y queremos felicitar a todo el equipo por su trabajo. Sin duda, volveremos y esperamos seguir disfrutando de la hospitalidad que siempre encontramos en Meliá.

Our stay at Paradisus was nothing short of spectacular. The staff are first class, the hotel is first class! Usually when writing a review like this I have one or two little niggles or faults with the hotel but I genuinely haven’t got a single fault to give. The food was fantastic, the à la carte restaurants were so easy to book into with the concierge over WhatsApp (not sure if this is just for the reserve guests) We also never struggled to find something to eat in the buffet either (which coming from a pretty fussy eater is unheard of) No task was ever to much to ask for! We spent some time between both pools, at the main pool there was never a struggle for a sun-bed (infact it felt empty at times with the amount of beds available) The reserve pool is top notch, while it is considerably smaller and there are less beds available, Fiona made this experience feel like absolute luxury providing drinks and snacks poolside throughout! Fiona is a Pina Colada queen! That being said, you could equally have just as great an experience without booking the reserve, the whole hotel is absolutely stunning and pretty much everything is included with the standard booking (other than the reserve pool and the reserve lounge) The rooms were always immaculate, the turndown service in the evening provided a little added sparkle by popping some chocolates on our bed and providing fresh aloe Vera in our bathroom every night! (Which was sorely needed given the weather was so hot) The entertainment in the evenings was good, usually was either a live artist or something for the kids. If the entertainment isn’t for you there are places locally you could go within walking distance of the hotel but we were happy with the atmosphere in the hotel itself! I don’t usually make this sort of remark, but I could return to the paradisus over and over and never get sick of it there! It’s absolutely magical and all the staff make this hotel simply exceptional! We both had the best time and hope to return soon! ❤️

Wir waren 12Tage im Melia Paradisus und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Da wir vor ca. 14Jahren schon hier waren, als dies noch das Melia Tamarindos war, wurde dies echt schön neu gestaltet, wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub. Die Getränke & die Speisen sind von sehr guter Qualität und auch die Workshops waren sehr interessant und haben Spaß gemacht. Das Hotel bittet gratis Ausflüge an, hier haben wir uns für die Wanderung mit Pierre entschieden, welche auch sehr schön & Interessant war. Die Live Musik am Abend hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sind Traumhaft schön eingerichtet & auch das Personal war in allen Bereichen sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir waren Reserve Kunden & haben uns Hautsächlich im angelegten Strandbereich aufgehalten, welcher sehr schön angelegt wurde & einen traumhaften Meerblick & auch tolles Service bittet. Wir hatten in dieser Zeit 3 Kellner unten, leider wissen wir nicht alle Namen, jedoch möchten wir unbedingt Herrn Jose .... erwähnen, welcher einen tollen Job gemacht hat, er war immer sehr aufmerksam, freundlich & zuvorkommend, bei Ihm haben wir uns immer sehr gut betreut gefühlt & freuten uns immer wenn er an diesem Tag vor Ort war. An unserem letzten Tag war leider ein anderer Kellner in diesen Bereich, welcher oft nicht vor Ort war, somit mussten wir leider erleben das unser Tag gestört wurde, indem eine Mutter mit 2 Kindern in diesem Bereich, welcher ein Adults Only Bereich ist, meinte Sie müssen hier mit Wasserpistolen spielen und über alle Liegen schießen und den Sand durch die Gegend werfen, dies gehört besser kontrolliert, da ich es nicht ok finde, für diesen Bereich mehr zu bezahlen bzw. zu verlangen, wenn dies dann keiner kontrolliert & ich dies in meinem Urlaub mit Familien alleine ausdiskutieren muss. Leider gibt es auch hier immer wieder schwarze Schafe, die meinen Sie müssen schon um 7:30 die Liege reservieren (Niesche im Reserve Strandbereich, einer der schönsten Plätze mit etwas Privatsphäre) jedoch erst um 16:00 Uhr zum Platz kommen, wir hätten diesen Platz gerne genutzt, welches uns durch solche Gäste leider verwehrt wurde, auch hier wäre mehr Kontrolle notwendig. Aber dies sind Dinge, die einfach noch verbessert werden können, ansonsten war es eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem Hotel!

An absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish! Paradisus Grand Canaria exceeded all my expectations. Everything was simply fantastic — from the warm and attentive service to the genuinely positive energy of every member of staff. You can truly feel that the people working here love what they do, and it makes the entire experience even more special. The food was outstanding, with an excellent variety and quality, and the location is perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful, stylish, and wonderfully designed, with fantastic entertainment and plenty of activities to make every day enjoyable. As someone who loves running, I especially appreciated the location by the sea. There is a beautiful running path right along the coast, making it a perfect place to enjoy a morning run with an incredible view. Everything about this hotel made my stay memorable. I highly recommend Paradisus Grand Canaria and I am already looking forward to coming back. I can’t wait to visit again! ❤️

Beautiful Luxury Hotel with Outstanding Food, but a Huge Disappointment for Families Looking for Entertainment We recently stayed at Paradisus Gran Canaria as a family, traveling with a 7-year-old child and a teenager. Overall, we had a pleasant vacation, but there are some major points that future guests—especially families—should know before booking. Let's start with the positives, because there are many. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Everything feels new, modern, elegant, and exceptionally well maintained. The architecture, landscaping, pools, and common areas are stunning and truly create a luxury atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable, spotless, and beautifully designed. Housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay. One of the biggest highlights was the food. Every restaurant we visited offered high-quality meals with fresh ingredients and excellent presentation. Breakfast was outstanding, with an impressive variety of options every morning. The specialty restaurants were also excellent, and the bars served delicious cocktails with attentive service. This is definitely one of the strongest aspects of the hotel. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Service throughout the resort deserves high praise. Unfortunately, this is where the positives end. For a luxury resort charging premium prices, the entertainment is honestly one of the worst we have experienced. After dinner, there is virtually nothing to do. Every evening felt exactly the same. There is no game room, no arcade, no pool tables, no foosball (table soccer), no table tennis, no indoor entertainment area, and no activities that bring families together during the evening. Once dinner is over, the resort becomes incredibly quiet and, frankly, very boring. Our children quickly became restless because there was simply nothing designed for families to enjoy together after sunset. We expected a luxury resort to offer at least some entertainment options, but there were none. The sports facilities were an even bigger disappointment. There is: No basketball court No tennis courts No pickleball courts No padel courts No soccer field No volleyball court No multi-sport area Absolutely nothing. For families with active children or teenagers, this is a major drawback. We specifically look for resorts where our kids can stay active while on vacation, and Paradisus completely failed in this area. The fitness center, although equipped with modern machines, is incredibly small considering the size, category, and price of the resort. During busy hours it becomes crowded very quickly, making it difficult to enjoy a workout. Considering the nightly rates, we expected a complete luxury resort experience. Instead, we found ourselves leaving the hotel several evenings simply because there was nothing to do. This hotel seems much better suited for couples seeking peace, relaxation, and excellent dining than for families traveling with children or teenagers. Would we return? For the food, beautiful facilities, and exceptional service, absolutely yes. For family entertainment? Unfortunately, no. We sincerely hope the management invests in creating more recreational facilities and evening entertainment. Adding sports courts, a games room, arcade games, family competitions, and more engaging nightly activities would completely transform the guest experience and make this luxury resort truly worthy of its premium price. Until then, families with active children and teenagers should carefully consider whether this resort matches their expectations before booking.

5 estrellas se quedan pocas para valorar este hotel. Hemos estado en muchos hoteles y podemos decir que este es uno de los mejores donde nos hemos alojado nunca. Las instalaciones y las habitaciones son increíbles y están impecables. Te cambian las toallas 2 veces al día, te abren la cama…y todo el hotel esta reluciente. Todos los restaurantes tienen una comida excepcional, muy variada, cuidada y hecha con cariño. Sin duda lo mejor es el personal, hay que felicitar a todo el equipo porque no ha habido absolutamente nadie que no te atendiese con una sonrisa, amabilidad y cariño. Todos los empleados estaba dedicados al 100% y definitivamente para nosotros son el claro motivo por el que volver, porque te hacen sentir como en casa y son el motor de este lugar. Creo que no hay un solo empleado/a que nos haya atendido sin una sonrisa pero queríamos agradecer en especial a Brahim del Vibra, Diego The Shack, Ayoze en la zona VIP y en general el equipo de camareros. Sin embargo, tenemos varias cosas que creemos que se pueden mejorar, de una manera constructiva: La animación no es muy variada, estaba muy orientado al deporte y las artes, hubiera estado bien algo mas de juegos (bingo, dardos etc.). Por otro lado no creo que sea adecuado que en todas las piscinas se permitan los flotadores, balones, colchonetas etc. Hay una piscina de niños y 3 piscinas mas, y en ocasiones estaban abarrotadas con gritos, balonazos y flotadores que se iban sin dueño conocido. la piscina de niños estaba sorprendentemente vacía, abarrotando el resto de piscinas para su uso y disfrute, creemos que estaría bien dejar al menos una para adultos porque parecía mas un campamento de pañales y potitos, en vez de una piscina de un hotel de 5 estrellas. Por ultimo, lo que creemos que es extremadamente urgente que cambie y podría haber bajado la valoración es la inadmisible forma de ofrecer el servicio The Circle. Nos citaron una tarde, nos tuvieron mas de una hora intentando convencer, presionándonos, para mi gusto, de forma excesivamente intensa y agresiva, para que aceptásemos su oferta y contratásemos la membresia. Me sentí realmente incomoda, la empleada llamó incluso a su Manager para presionar mas, y tampoco lo consiguió porque mi pareja les puso en sus trece. En un hotel de esta categoría creo que es absolutamente intolerable que me tengan 1h reunida durante mis vacaciones para que acepte en ese mismo momento, su oferta, que por otro lado no comparto para nada en absoluto. A la vez que hemos recomendado este hotel, les hemos advertido a nuestros familiares y amigos de que no acepten esta “invitación” porque es una perdida de tiempo, tanto la forma en la que esta planteado como la presión que ejercen sobre ti. No voy a valorar la estrategia o el target comercial, que no lo comparto, pero no creo que el trato recibido este alineado con la categoría del hotel, y desde luego creo que seria motivo para bajar la nota, pero no creo que la labor tan buena y cuidada que hace el resto de empleados y trabajadores tenga que quedar ensuciada por el despropósito que considero que es la supuesta invitación que recibimos. En conclusión: es un hotel de 10, pero por favor, revisad la forma de ofrecer la membresia, porque me consta que no somos los primeros que nos quejamos sobre este aspecto.
