Our stay at this Maldives resort was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the hospitalty was world-class and the staff made us feel truly welcomed. The overwater villa offered stunning ocean views, crystal-clear waters, and direct access to vibrant marine life. Every meal was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was pure paradise. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the Maldives!

We stayed for 7 nights and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the staff took care of every little detail. Everyone was incredibly friendly, always smiling and eager to help. Please continue taking care of your amazing team—they are truly what sets this resort apart from others we have visited. The island itself is beautiful, with incredibly clear, crystal-blue waters, plenty of areas for snorkeling, and a spectacular coral reef. If we ever return to the Maldives we will choose Machafushi again without a second thought. Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Centara Machchafushi Maldives, and every part of our experience exceeded our expectations! Our room was beautiful, and the breathtaking view of the crystal clear blue ocean right in front of our villa made feel magical. A huge thank you to the Front Office team, especially Bel, Pat and Aus for making our stay so smooth, warm, and memorable. Your genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. We would also like to give special recognition to our housekeeper, Amanula, who took excellent care of our room throughout our stay. He always ensured we had everything we needed, and we loved the thoughtful bed decorations, especially the adorable turtle and elephant made from towels. Those little touches made our vacation even more special. Thank you to the amazing team at Suan Bua. The Thai food was absolutely delicious, and every meal was a delight. Special thanks to Desmon, Chris, Jonathan, Siva, May, Riyad, Ajith, Ravi and the entire restaurant team for providing outstanding service with warm smiles and great attention to detail. One of the highlights of our trip was the scuba diving experience. A big thank you to our dive instructors, Matt and Fittey, for guiding us safely and professionally while exploring the incredible underwater world. We were lucky enough to see turtles, sharks, and the beautiful house reef—it was an unforgettable experience! Thank you to everyone at Centara Machchafushi for making our holiday so special!

We recently stayed at Centara Resort as a family and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The resort is incredibly family-friendly, with plenty to keep children entertained. Our kids had an amazing time and were never short of activities, which made the trip enjoyable for the whole family. The staff throughout the resort were warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on ensuring guests had a great stay. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of options and consistently high quality across the restaurants. We also absolutely loved the spa experience—it was one of the highlights of our trip and provided the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. In terms of pricing, the resort was in line with what you would expect from a property of this standard and location. The overall value and quality of the experience made it worthwhile for us. The only area that fell slightly short of expectations was some of the water activities. We felt they were priced a little higher than expected for the experience provided. In particular, the nurse shark snorkeling excursion was enjoyable but didn't quite compare to similar experiences we've had elsewhere, especially considering the cost. That said, the team running the activities were fantastic—friendly, professional, and enthusiastic throughout. Our feedback is more about the value proposition than the people delivering the experience. Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday and would happily recommend Centara to families looking for great service, excellent food, a beautiful spa, and a resort where children can have just as much fun as the adults. We left with wonderful memories and would certainly consider returning. 🌴☀️🏝️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The place has an amazing location and wonderful water villas. The bad thing is the service, half of the folks have a strange attitude or fear to not be customer friendly and the WORST part is that there is hardly any buggy available for going to the water villa from the restaurant (30 mins waiting??), quite unheard of a 5 star resort in Maldives! Another sad thing was the lack of nay welcome to the resort. Worst experience of welcome (actually No Welcome at all). One more thing I noticed later (after the above review) when doing scuba diving. The instructor Jo is extremely impatient and rude, and quite un-encouraging to the people who don't know much about scuba diving. He accidentally hurt my hand and would not even bother to apologise. I have met much better and nicer instructors in my earlier dives at different locations. If you can bear with such rude attitude, I will 100% recommend the scuba diving because this resort has one of the best house reefs. Again, location, marine life, rooms are all wonderful. Superb place barring the few experiences that kind of tinted it. Hope these small issues can be addressed by the resort management.

Our stay at this resort was truly unforgettable. 🌴💙 We absolutely loved everything, but what touched us the most was undoubtedly the kindness, care and genuine attention of all the people who made our experience so special. From the very first moment, we felt that every little detail was taken care of and that the guests’ comfort and happiness were a real priority. We would love to mention everyone by name, but unfortunately, it is not easy for us to remember so many names. Still, we would like to give a special mention to some of the people whose names we managed to remember: Santi, Abhishek, Shafiq, Ajith, Amanda, Rusti (Mohamed), Mini, Jamal, Shabbir, Ashik, Benita, Shakiib, Faruk, Habib, Athul and Chips. Each of them, in their own way, helped make our days even more special. The gentleman who took care of our room was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and during the activities, we also met so many kind, helpful and genuinely caring people who always wanted to make sure we were having the best possible experience. But we truly want to make it clear that the entire staff deserves this recognition. Even those whose names we were unable to remember were an important part of our stay and helped make it perfect. ❤️ And then there is the place itself… simply breathtaking. The house reef is something truly extraordinary, with incredible marine life, and the island looks like it came straight out of a postcard. It is one of those places that almost feels too beautiful to be real. 🐠🐢🌊 The food was also very good and, overall, everything came together to give us exactly what we were looking for: a truly perfect holiday in paradise, surrounded by wonderful people. We are leaving with beautiful memories and, above all, with so much gratitude for everyone who was part of these days. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our stay so special. We truly hope to come back one day! 🌴✨
