The hotel is exactly what it says on the tin – a lovely little boutique hotel with beautiful, modern rooms. As we arrived, another guest was entering the hotel and kindly let us in behind him. We then waited in the lobby for over 10 minutes, assuming someone would come to check us in. It wasn't until my partner popped into Honey Corner next door to buy something that the lovely member of staff told him that check-in was actually at the sister hotel, the Cerviola Hotel, and gave us directions. We hid our suitcases in the lobby and headed down to check in. So, a huge thank you to the kind stranger who let us in, and to the staff at Honey Corner for pointing us in the right direction! There was absolutely no way I was carrying my huge suitcase down the road in 40+°C heat. That said, the walk itself really isn't bad at all. If you struggle in very high temperatures it could be a little challenging, but under normal circumstances it's only a short walk. We just think a little more transparency beforehand would go a long way. Even a quick text message on the day of arrival would have saved the confusion. We also didn't know that the swimming pool is also located there rather than at TJ Boutique. We were initially a little disappointed by this, but in reality we were only using the pool for a quick dip to cool off after a day of adventures, so it didn't have much impact on our stay. We later realised we weren't the only ones, as several other guests arrived during our stay not knowing where to check in, and we ended up pointing them in the right direction ourselves. The room itself was lovely—spotlessly clean, spacious, modern and well-equipped, with a beautiful bathroom and walk-in shower. However, you can hear other guests coming and going, furniture moving during the night. We also really appreciated the kettle with tea, coffee and milk provided. It might seem like a small touch, but after four years of holidays without these in our rooms, it was something we were genuinely grateful for. Fresh towels were also provided during our stay, which was much appreciated. The only tiny maintenance issue was that the doors were very squeaky. A quick spray of WD-40 would easily solve it and would certainly help avoid waking anyone up during late-night trips to the bathroom! The bed consisted of two single mattresses on one large base. One mattress sat slightly higher than the other, so there was a noticeable raised section in the middle. I happened to sleep on the higher side and, after four nights, asked my partner if we could swap sides. I'm quite hypermobile, so I found it felt like I was lying over a small mound rather than on a flat mattress. My partner's side, however, was perfectly flat and very comfortable. The only other slight downside was the atmosphere around the sister hotel's pool on one occasion. A particularly rowdy family seemed to dominate the area, with children fighting, gouging each other's eyes, screaming in the pool and upsetting other small children. It was a shame, as it took away from what was otherwise a relaxing environment. We didn't feel there was much point mentioning it as the bar must havr seen and heard all of this, buttl appeared to know them well (it looks like one of the girls behind the bar was possibly a family member herself) but thankfully this was only a small part of our holiday. The music around the pool was great, though. I will say we met many other travellers staying in much larger, more expensive hotels who told us they had been completely without power for several days. This affected Valletta and a number of other areas. At TJ Boutique, however, the power seemed to return almost immediately, which we assume was thanks to backup generators. So this was a really big positive. 3★ Overall: No pool or receptionist on site. 4★ Room: for small towels, which is usually the case in most hotels. 4★ Service: no receptionist at TJ Boutique, only in Cerviola down the road. 4★Location: all up hill, but otherwise ideal.

Ended up here after being redirected from near by hotel Cerviola, where I had the booking. The rooms are obviously larger than at Cerviola - my apartment, for instance, had two balconies, both with street view. Although marketed as "apartment", there was no kitchen or any cooking facility, except for a kettle (with few complimentary tea bags). There's a small grocery shop at the ground level of the hotel, with a coffee machine. One cup of espresso is just one Euro. Got the breakfast at Cerviola, located about 200 meters down the street - a good morning walk, actually. The view from balcony was quite spectacular.

This hotel has been pretty spot on, rooms cleaned daily, free WiFi, fresh towels daily. I would stop here again. Please be aware, to pick your key up, you’ll need to walk 5 minutes to Cerviola Hotel, who also do breakfasts for €10pp. Cold and hot AC. Fridge. Quick checkout keycard box in TJ Shop right next door. Close to good bars and restaurants(Coffee Circus highly recommended) My only negative, the hot water tanks have limited capacity if you like long hot showers.

Czysto , milo i przyjemnie. Bardzo wygodne , duże łoże. Spory balkon. Codziennie przychodzi Pani ,aby posprzątać pokój. Duzy plus - sklep na dole 😉

Schönes sauberes Hotel in zentraler Lage von Marsaskala, wir haben ein Familienzimmer im 5. Stock bekommen mit 2 Schlafzimmern und einer schönen Aussicht auf die Bucht.. Würde dieses hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, für Leute die kein schnick schnack suchen und sich auf das wesentliche konzentrieren..
