My husband and I make it a point to stay at Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach every year, and each visit reminds us why we keep coming back. From the moment we arrive, we’re welcomed like family. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to Waikiki Beach, restaurants, shopping, and everything we love to do on the island. The property is beautiful, but what truly makes this hotel special is its people. A special thank you to Frank, who always goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The restaurant staff consistently provide excellent service, and the housekeeping team is simply outstanding. One of our favorite parts of every stay is seeing Eileen each morning. She always greets us with a warm smile and makes sure our room has everything we need. It’s those personal touches that make this hotel feel like a second home. It’s rare to find a place where the staff remembers you year after year and genuinely cares about making your stay memorable. That level of hospitality keeps us coming back. Very nice rooms, great view on to the Hilton Fireworks every Friday. Just outside the hotel is a reef where you can see ton of fish and also turtles while snorkeling. Service Staff in particular cleaning staff was very friendly and always tried to provide great service. 10min by foot to Waikiki Beach. Beds are very comfortable. The only mid thing is the MonkeyPod Restaurant. There the food is just not worth its price but there are a ton of great restaurants nearby that you can easily walk to. Free unlimited Water.

We really really enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The room with the ocean view was just right for the price! Every night there was live music from the islands. The food at their restaurants was great. They were within a short walk to a primary street full of shops and stores. So many restaurants along the way as well. The beach is heavy with coral pieces. Highly recommend to wear some sort of aqua socks or footwear if you are close to the hotel. Further down the beach we didn't need them. If we ever go back to Honolulu, we would definitely stay at the Outrigger again!

Excellent hotel, 10/10 for service/staff, comfortable and clean rooms with good AC, and walkable location. I will say, the beach right in front of the hotel is all rocks - it is not a sandy bottom in the water, which we were surprised by. We went to the beach on the right which still had rocks, but not as much. We tried to go to the main Beach on Waikīkī as we learned there are no rocks but, there were canoe races and it was shut down for those. Still, it was a good stay overall and there is plenty to see and do. They have live performances and the food options are good at the restaurants.

Hotel was extremely clean and staff was great. Overall expected more for the price and you can probably get better value elsewhere. Beach access wasn’t the easiest and the nearest beach was extremely rocky and rough. I upgraded to partial ocean view and the view was just ON. For the price you’re better off staying elsewhere. If you’re looking for friendly staff and a clean room then this place works.

This is our second time in Waikiki. We decided to stay here again, because the first was a very memorable time for our family. My kids and the wife had such a enjoyable time, because the beach was literally downstairs. We we're hardly in our room. Kani Ka Pila Grille and Monkey Pod Kitchen was two restaurants you can choose from without leaving the resort. I just want to also say housekeeping staff (keep up with the good work!) was helpful and friendly! And I wish I remembered the front desk clerk name who was very accommodating to our room concern since we we're staying for five nights, he put us in a view we're able to see the fireworks! Overall Great Stay & Mahalo Outrigger Reef !
