Senhora da Rosa Tradition and Nature Hotel

We had a wonderful experience as a family at Senhora da Rosa. Location is great, in a quiet and green neighbourhood of Ponta Delgada. The room was spacious, overlooking a luscious garden. We loved the food at breakfast, the pineapple greenhouse and its small heated pool, the spa, and our son absolutely enjoyed the kids room. Overall the service was impeccable too. Thank you to the whole team during our stay. We recommend 💯% and will come back !

Wir fanden die Lage des Hotels ganz cool. Es lag zwar mitten in einem Wohngebiet, aber vom äußeren Lärm hat man gar nichts mitbekommen. Die Anlage ist schön grün. Für unser Kind gab es dort eine Kids Club. Dort konnte er sich mit Spielsachen beschäftigen und austoben. Ich kann es gar nicht richtig in Worte fassen was nicht gepasst haben soll. Es war ein guter Aufenthalt, aber es hat trotzdem dieser gewisse Funke gefehlt um den Aufenthalt super zu machen. 08.08.2026

What a stunning and relaxing place to stay. The staff were always so kind. They helped us with reservations and places to explore. We enjoyed the paddle board courts, the sauna, the pool, the bar and the glass house hot tub. That was so fun to do late at night. The breakfast (which is included) was a huge bonus each morning. A delicious breakfast with so many choices. We would definitely return here!

Lieu magnifique et calme. Suivant la photo, on a l'impression d'un grand bloc construit mais ce n'est pas du tout le cas. Il y a un grand jardin magnifique. Tout est très propre à l'intérieur, y compris la piscine. Le personnel est attentif, serviable et sympathique. Il est ouvert au feedback et lorsque certaines choses se passent moins bien que prévu comme ça peut arriver dans la vie d'un hôtel, le personnel intervient tout de suite et apporte des solutions adaptées. C'est un des meilleurs hôtels que je connaisse. Le lieu est au calme, en dehors de la ville avec pour conséquence qu'il faut une voiture ou un taxi pour se déplacer dans des lieux animés. Il y a toutefois quelques restaurants à proximité qui sont accessibles à pied. Dans l'hôtel, il y a aussi moyen de manger très correctement.

Overall, this is a good hotel with an interesting concept and beautiful design. However, both the attention to detail and the level of service need significant improvement. 1. The solid toiletries provided in the bathroom were of very poor quality and essentially unusable. Basic amenities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers were also not provided. 2. Housekeeping was extremely superficial. One day I was sitting in the garden while my room was being cleaned, and the entire process took only three minutes. It was honestly unbelievable. 3. The shower in our bathroom was partially broken throughout our stay, so we had to use the showers in the spa instead. 4. The hotel hosts external events. On two evenings during our stay, there were corporate team-building events held in the restaurant that continued until midnight. Large groups of people were shouting and making a great deal of noise. 5. While we were having drinks at the bar, we were told that we had to leave because a company hosting an event needed the space for a presentation. We had no choice but to return to our room. 6. The pineapple hot spring was very disappointing. It appeared completely neglected and was located in the middle of a vegetable garden. There were no showers or even a place to hang towels, and the water was full of insects. 7. During breakfast, the staff cooked eggs in the dining room using portable stoves, but there was no ventilation or extraction system. As a result, the entire restaurant was filled with cooking fumes, and we had to eat outside in the garden. 8. The spa was probably the hotel’s best feature and the part we appreciated the most. 9. 100 euros per one hour pilate class ( 2 persons) was insane.
