Royal Level Adults Only Review: Upon arrival we were greeted at the Royal Level Adults Only check-in desk with fresh fruit juices, flavoured water, chocolates and hot beverage options. Immediately the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We were given our room number, key and All Inclusive gold bracelets and then advised that the buggy was going to take us to our room. And so a lovely gentleman appeared who took our cases and as explained a buggy (like a golf cart) drove us to the Royal Level Adults Only part of the hotel complex (it is rather large). The Terra Sana Restaurant and Bar was where we had nearly all of our Breakfasts, Lunches and Dinners every day. It is right next to the pool area, a short walk from all of the rooms, which are all in close proximity to the pool and restaurant area. The staff were excellent! When I tell you each and every one of them presented themselves so well, polite and attentive, it is an understatement. You would never be waiting for a drink or to be served at a meal because there were plenty of staff, and as mentioned, who were all very attentive and took close attention to all the details going on. On a final note, I would explicitly say that it is worth to pay the extra to stay at the Royal Level Adults Only and to also pay extra for All Inclusive. If you're single, or a couple with no children, or a family who's children are over 18, then this is the perfect place to stay and a fantastic getaway for you. Gute vier Sterne, ok, aber "Royal Level" ist maßlos übertrieben. Es handelt sich um alte Bausubstanz, die z.T. schon wieder deutlich renoviert werden müsste. Die Pools sind gut gemacht und gut unterhalten. Das Frühstück ist ok, mit dem den Briten geschuldeten Fokus auf Kalorien und Fett. Das Abendessen bot erstaunlich wenig Auswahl neben Pizza, Lasagne und Kroketten... Salate sind aber ansprechend. Also besser nicht zu viel erwarten.

Wir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Urlaub im Barceló Fuerteventura, allerdings mit deutlichen Licht- und Schattenseiten. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchten wir das Royal Level Buffet Restaurant. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und der Ausblick über den Hafen ist wunderschön. Abends wurde täglich frisch Fleisch und Fisch nach Wunsch gegrillt, und die Auswahl war immer groß und qualitativ gut. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns sehr überzeugt – Eierspeisen wurden frisch nach Wunsch zubereitet, von Spiegelei bis zu herzhaften Omeletts. Die Hotelanlage selbst ist sehr schön und weitläufig. Auch der Hafen hat uns gut gefallen und es gibt viele sportliche Angebote. Besonders viel Spaß hatten wir auf der Padel-Tennis-Anlage. Leider gibt es aber auch einige große Kritikpunkte, vor allem beim Service. Wir hatten das Royal Level gebucht, bei dem es eine eigene Rezeption gibt. Der Empfang war jedoch alles andere als „royal“. Ein Mitarbeiter mit langen Haaren und Zopf an der Rezeption war sehr unfreundlich und hat uns von oben herab behandelt. Während andere Gäste ein Begrüßungsgetränk bekamen, wurde uns nichts angeboten. Stattdessen wurden wir nur gefragt, ob wir unsere Koffer selbst tragen oder einen Concierge brauchen. Da wir die Anlage nicht kannten und unser Zimmer etwa 800 m von der Rezeption entfernt lag, fanden wir das sehr enttäuschend. Auch eine andere Mitarbeiterin an der Royal-Level-Rezeption war leider sehr unfreundlich. Selbst bei einfachen Nachfragen fühlte man sich eher störend als willkommen. Das restliche Servicepersonal in der Gastronomie wirkte ebenfalls oft ungeschult und wenig freundlich – für ein Royal-Level-Angebot leider sehr enttäuschend. Wir kennen andere Standards aus dem letzten Jahr im Barceló Teneriffa, wo der Service wirklich hervorragend war. Es gab aber auch positive Ausnahmen beim Personal: José vom Royal Concierge war einer der wenigen Mitarbeiter, der sich wirklich um unsere Anliegen gekümmert hat und immer sehr zuvorkommend war. Bei seiner Einstellung und seinem Service würde es uns nicht wundern, wenn er in ein paar Jahren eine Führungsposition hat. Auch Sandra vom Housekeeping ist ein echter Goldschatz. Sie hat das Zimmer immer sehr ordentlich und sauber gemacht und war dabei stets freundlich und gut gelaunt. Ein weiterer Nachteil ist, dass die Anlage insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. An vielen Stellen bröckelt die Fassade. Es wird zwar hier und da renoviert, aber das wird noch lange dauern. Besonders der Hauptweg durch die Anlage ist an vielen Stellen beschädigt, was nicht nur unschön aussieht, sondern auch eine Verletzungsgefahr darstellt – vor allem für Kinder, die dort ständig entlanglaufen. Fazit: Wir hatten trotz allem einen schönen Urlaub im Barceló Fuerteventura. Das Essen, die Anlage und einige wenige Mitarbeiter haben unseren Aufenthalt positiv geprägt. Der Service insgesamt – besonders im Royal Level – war jedoch leider sehr enttäuschend und für diese Kategorie aus unserer Sicht maximal 0 von 10 Punkten. Mit besser geschultem und freundlicherem Personal könnte das Hotel deutlich mehr aus seinem Potenzial machen.

Séjour catastrophique au Fuerteventura Royal Level Family. J’avais réservé quatre chambres sans vue mer pour un voyage en famille, et j’assume totalement ce choix. En revanche, je ne m’attendais absolument pas à des chambres sombres, humides, sales, très mal insonorisées, et donnant directement sur une rue passante, avec le bruit continu des voitures (double sens) et des chariots du bar. L’expérience a été tellement mauvaise que nous avons dû changer d’hôtel. Toute la famille était dégoûtée. Et le pire, c’est que nous avons dû payer plein pot pour être relogés ailleurs dans la même chaîne hôtelière, en pleine semaine de Noël, sans aucune solution correcte tarifaire proposée sur place (à part qqs discounts sur le spa et activités). Lorsque nous avons écrit ensuite pour expliquer la situation, nous avons reçu une réponse sèche affirmant que c’était « notre choix » de changer d’hôtel et que nous avons donc été victimes des tarifs de saison. Quelle honte. C’est absolument faux. Nous avons changé parce que les conditions étaient inacceptables et incompatibles avec des vacances en famille, encore plus à ce prix et sous l’étiquette Royal Level. Nous connaissons pourtant bien l’île et le groupe. Nous avions déjà séjourné quatre fois au Barceló Fuerteventura Mar, avec de bonnes expériences, et pensions sincèrement monter en gamme. Le résultat est une énorme déception. Je joins des photos pour que chacun puisse juger de notre choix de changement. Plus jamais. Honte à vous

This hotel is a pure paradise from the staff, to the services, the discretion and their attention and authenticity. I would like to thank everyone for this amazing experience especially Chantal, Miriam, Alina, Simon, Rodriguo, Begonia and all the others names that I did not catch. They all made me feel at home and were very attentive to my needs as I was travelling by myself this time for 10 days I felt very comfortable and I have experienced many activities nearby the hotel as well from restaurants to excursions (I recommend the catamaran experience with Orbycat) and even rented a bike to discover more of this island 🌹 But to make this experience even better, I have experienced a few issues when I requested room order which I had to contact them again and it was not as smooth as I have hoped for but they were very reactive once I called them. The Hammam space could be improved a lot because it was not hot enough and the tv should be renewed because I could not share my screen from my mobile phone to the tv when I wanted to watch a movie in my room. (No Netflix or other online streaming videos available) The internet was a bit slow sometimes as well and I felt the team from the restaurant were sometimes a little overwhelmed probably because they were not staffed enough but they remained in control. Next time I would like to come back again with my future husband that could not join me this time. Until then I wish you all the best for the future and I hope to come again soon ❤️❤️❤️☀️🏝️

Well manicured grounds and excellent staff. Food was disappointing, especially the Christmas Gala evening. We were surprised by the unseasonal, poor weather. The Spa treatments we enjoyed were fabulous, both beauticians were very skilled.. The mini golf was great fun with two superior courses. We were half board and struggled to find a decent restaurant outside the complex, for lunch. We stayed in the Adult Only Royal Level which is part of an enormous complex, all sharing the same sandy beach.
