Das Personal ist sehr nett, die Zimmer sind aber eher abgewohnt und Handtücher wie auch Bettwäsche hatten immer Flecken. Das Fenster ist eher schmal und nicht zu öffnen. Von der Lage her ist es so, dass man von dort eine knappe halbe Stunde in die Innenstadt geht. Daneben ist auch eine Hauptstraße gelegen. Es ist eher ein Hotel für Kongress-Teilnehmer oder Ähnliches. In den Entspannungs-Urlaub würde ich dort nicht mehr buchen.

El hotel está bien, pero en mi opinión no llega al nivel que esperaba de un cuatro estrellas. Le daría un 7/10. La ubicación no es mala si vas al Palacio de Congresos, pero para hacer turismo por el centro de Palma queda algo alejado. Además, la zona es bastante desangelada, con descampados y pocos comercios, cafeterías o sitios donde salir a tomar algo. Reservamos una habitación superior con vistas al mar, y aquí tuvimos cierta decepción: aunque desde la habitación se veía el puerto, la vista principal daba realmente a un descampado, por lo que no se correspondía del todo con lo que esperábamos al pagar por esa categoría. La habitación, eso sí, era bonita y cómoda. Había leído comentarios negativos sobre la ducha con pared de cristal, pero en nuestro caso no supuso ningún problema porque dispone de una cortina que permite tener privacidad completa. El aire acondicionado en ocasiones se paraba, aunque se podía controlar manualmente, y la ventana tenía una buena persiana/cortina que impedía que entrase la luz, por lo que se dormía perfectamente. La piscina fue otro punto bastante decepcionante. Es mucho más pequeña de lo que parece en las fotografías con las que se publicita, y conseguir una hamaca resulta complicado. Además, aunque el hotel dispone de un bar en la planta superior, no ofrecen servicio en la zona de piscina, por lo que tienes que levantarte para pedir o recoger las bebidas. También tuvimos una experiencia mejorable con el late check-out. Preguntamos con antelación y nos dijeron que teníamos que esperar hasta las 7 de la mañana del día de salida para saber si había disponibilidad. Me parece poco práctico, especialmente en un hotel de cuatro estrellas, porque obliga al huésped a organizarse sin saberlo hasta el último momento. Finalmente nos dijeron que no había disponibilidad porque estaba todo reservado. Sin embargo, al comprobar posteriormente la web, vimos que había habitaciones disponibles en las mismas condiciones que la nuestra, por lo que da la sensación de que quizá se podría haber gestionado de otra manera. Además, la atención de la persona que nos atendió en recepción fue bastante seca. Por último, algo que me llamó bastante la atención fue que no hubiese aire acondicionado en los pasillos. En la habitación se estaba perfectamente, pero en cuanto salías al pasillo había una humedad y un calor bastante incómodos. En resumen, la habitación está bien, es bonita y cómoda, pero hay varios detalles que, para un hotel de cuatro estrellas, creo que deberían cuidarse más. Para una estancia en Palma, personalmente no repetiría.

¡Una estancia fantástica en Meliá Palma Bay! El hotel es moderno, cómodo y está muy bien ubicado, pero lo que realmente marcó la diferencia fue el excelente trato del personal. Quiero destacar especialmente a Alex, que fue increíblemente amable, atento y profesional en todo momento. Siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudar, con una sonrisa y haciendo todo lo posible para que nuestra estancia fuera aún mejor. Personas como Alex hacen que uno se sienta realmente bienvenido y dan ganas de volver. ¡Muchas gracias, Alex, por tu excelente atención! Sin duda, un gran profesional y un verdadero valor para el hotel. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed at the Meliá Palma Bay for a week and came away with mixed feelings. Location is the hotel's biggest asset - right in the city centre, a short walk from the sea and from a beautiful promenade that's a pleasure to stroll along. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés all around, so you don't need a car to get to just about anything. The gym is genuinely good and well equipped, above average for a hotel in this category, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The room itself, on the other hand, was disappointing. It's dated and doesn't live up to the impression the hotel gives off in the lobby. There are no balconies, and worse - there's just one small window that only opens partway, so the room feels closed in and airless. The windows were also very dirty, which doesn't help. We found ants in the room, and the cleaning standard was poor - it was clear the daily service amounted to making the beds and not much more. On top of that, they only provide two bath towels, which simply isn't enough. Bottom line: If you're looking for a base in a winning location and don't plan to spend much time in the room, this hotel will do the job. If a modern, genuinely clean room matters to you, it's worth considering alternatives. Rating: 3/5

Solid experience at the Melia hotel in Palma Bay. I visited with my mother. Our room was gorgeous and very clean. Really enjoyed the luxe bathroom and the rest of the modern minimalist features. Service was great, there were many times when we called and asked for things and they were delivered promptly. The hotel breakfast was yummy and fresh. I recommend paying for the parking, it's very easy and secure. The rooftop bar closes at 8pm, wish that was open a bit later but the rooftop itself is very pretty. Our taxi was phoned by the hotel and waiting for us when we were ready to go. Overall Melía left a favorable impression on me, I would visit again.

Would never book this again. Wish we had left at check in. Miserable experience. Super thing walls. Super long check in process while our little one screamed. Can hear everything. Lounge is helpful but can’t take food away so doesn’t help us with little one sometimes. No customer care or help with bags and it’s supposedly a 4 star hotel. A/C is struggling in the whole building. Bathroom super weird cause no door. Checking out early cause it’s ruining our vacation. The lounge level is not helpful for children and barely any kid food. The pool has zero shade and it’s 100 degrees the parking is another extra fee and the entrance is very confusing. I wish we had not statues here.
