Après un accueil tiède, on nous propose de payer 20€ de supplément pour une chambre "confort", nous refusons, et constatons de suite que cela ne plaît pas. On ne se doutait quand même pas qu'on allait être au sous sol à la cave, à côté des supports à ski et des pièces de services, des employés qui sifflent dans le couloir, des bruits d'aspirateur, des portes qui claquent, des bruits de tuyauteries.. j'en passe et des meilleurs (notamment le jardinier qui passe et nous regarde sur le lit quand il arrose les fleurs en plein après midi). De la peinture en moins au plafond de la chambre, du moisi au plafond au dessus de la douche (je ne vous conseille pas de faire 1m90 vous ne pourrez pas tenir debout dans la baignoire). Très clairement notre avis ? Nous avons été relégué dans ce que l'on pourrait péjorativement appeler une chambre de bonne. Nous pensons très clairement qu'il s'agit plus d'une chambre destiné à des employés saisonnier. En partant on nous demande comment c'était, on explique, notamment les bruits du passage du personnel, on nous répond que normalement on ne devrait pas tellement en avoir ici... Puis on nous dit "Parfait merci, au-revoir".Si je veux voir à quoi ressemble l'amabilité d'une porte de prison je ne viens pas chez vous, je vais aux journées du patrimoine. Si vous ne voulez pas de client, surtout ne changez rien !

Chambre n°30 semi-enterrée au sous-sol, très humide et à côté du local à ski avec odeur des chaussures humides. Pas recommandé aux personnes claustrophobes. Très mal insonorisée. Chambre qui n'a rien à voir avec les photos du site. Très déçus car publicité mensongère. Aucun geste commercial pour ce désagrément. A part cela petit-déjeûner ok et très bon emplacement.

מלון זוועה. שירות מחפיר. אין מעלית. ואין לעובדי המלון שום כוונה או רצון להעלות עבורך את המזוודה, או לפחות חלק מהציוד. היחס לאורחים מזעזע. על גבול החוצפה. הדבר היחיד שנקבל הוא המיקום, אך בשאמוני ניתן בנקל למצוא מלונות במיקום עדיף. לא נחזור למלון הזה ונפעל בקרב הקבוצות המגיעות לעשות את הטור מון בלאן לפרסם את המידע כדי למנוע עגמת נפש מחברינו.

I am very pleased with my stay at the hotel—the breakfast was good! The location is excellent, and Aicha really made our stay more enjoyable.

This was one of our favourite hotels during our two-week trip through Switzerland, Italy and France. Very friendly and helpful staff. Le Faucigny is beautifully located, with plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy the stunning scenery. Our bedroom was small, but that wasn't an issue and was full of charm. The staff surprised us by asking if we would be using their free spa (the hotel name should have given it away! 😂). We gladly obliged and enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi and sauna. We only wish we could have stayed a few more nights. Hey ho, all good things must come to an end, and we certainly ended our trip on a high. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. I booked 1 Classic Double Room for 3 nights and booked 1 Classic Double Room for 1 night on separate reservations. Both times we were placed in a very cramped room with a strangely sloped ceiling. Like other reviews have mentioned, it made it impossible to stand up in the shower, and you have to "shower" while sitting in the tub. There is no curtain so it can get messy. Definitely do not recommend for seniors or fall hazards! I'm in my 30s and average height 5'10". Just getting in and out of the tub was hard, needing to be hunched over, since the ceiling was sloped over the tub. I could not imagine my parents needing to get in and out of the tub like that. Just walking into and out of the door for the bathroom, I needed to duck my head. The ceiling slopes over the bed too, so I needed to duck my head getting in and out, which was tiring and easy to forget in the middle of the night. I get now why the reviews here are so polarizing. It seems like some other rooms do not have this problem, so those guests likely gave good marks. But 2 out of 2 times, we had this experience, so it is a bit luck of the draw. Since you have no control over what room you get, I would strongly recommend avoiding this terrible experience. Also, while the website lists the hotel as having air conditioning, in practice, it barely functioned, and it was extremely hot during the day and hard to sleep in at night. The beds were comfortable, and the location was very good. Reception was a mixed bag. There was a middle-aged man, who was always unfriendly in our interactions. When asked where we might be able to put our luggage to store temporarily, he pointed to a closet across from him and said, "You know how to open a door, right?" The other receptionists were extremely nice, and we hoped every time we needed to pass reception, it was one of the very friendly staff members and not the middle-aged man. In summary, go ahead and book here if you want to gamble on having a good experience or terrible one. But in my view, there are definitely better options out there. Buyer beware.
