PlanB Hotel - Living Chamonix

Great hotel! We stayed there twice during our TMB trip. The rooms are spacious and modern. The hotel is very clean, and the employees and the reception team are wonderful and very helpful! Breakfast is at 6:30 which is great for anyone who wants to start the TMB early. The location is perfect, just across from all the main bus station and 5 min from the shops and main area. Very recommended!!

We did not stay so cannot talk about the rooms but I can talk about how the staff is amazing. My wife and I were waiting for the bus and the heat caused her to have an intense headache/migraine. The staff was able to bring us into a semi-private room in the back, they got us cold water, reopened the kitchen for us to make us food and went above and beyond to make my wife feel better. Ok our next trip to Chamonix, we know exactly what to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Plan A. The hotel offers incredible views and is ideally located—just a short walk from food places, coffee shops, the cable car station, and even the coach station, which is only one minute away. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and made sure we had all the information we needed. The food was very nice, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and relaxing—perfect for a family stay. We especially loved the cozy reading corner with tables, chairs, and games. There are lovely restaurants nearby, including a nice Indian restaurant called Annapurna. The location is also great for exploring nearby destinations like Annecy and Geneva using public transport. A big plus was that they kindly allowed us to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which made our trip much easier. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back for a longer visit.

I had a really lovely stay at PlanB. It was my first time solo travelling and I was a bit nervous from the offset! But having friendly faces help make everything run smoothly was excellent! My room was very nice and clean. It was also quiet and all round very comfortable. Ski lockers were also really handy and accessible! I would definitely stay here again and I’ll be recommending here to my friends and family!

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is right next to the bus station, which makes it extremely convenient—whether you are arriving from Geneva or Annecy, you can reach the hotel within a 20-second walk. From the hotel, it is also very easy to access downtown Chamonix, the train station, and Aiguille du Midi, all within a short walk or quick transit. The room is what you would expect from a good hotel: clean, well maintained, and comfortable. In addition, the view from the room was wonderful and added to the overall experience. I would especially like to compliment Jonathan, the receptionist. He was exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive. His warm attitude and willingness to help truly made a difference in our stay and reflected very positively on the hotel’s service quality. Overall, I strongly recommend Plan B Hotel for anyone looking for a well-located hotel with reasonable pricing and excellent service. I am very happy to leave a positive review and would gladly stay here again.
