This hotel is a unique combination between wonderful secluded surroundings and exceptional service. After a safari trip in mainland that’s exactly what we searched for. Quiet, calm and peaceful with a private beach- not crowded like in other hotels we’ve been in Zanzibar. Special thanks to Mohammed who took care of any request and question and made our stay comfortable. Also Amur the waiter, Alex the bartender and everyone at this hotel are so nice! Even on Friday evening there were sunset cocktails with the hotel’s management. We loved the food and the themed dinners, huge thanks for serving gluten free pancakes and donuts in breakfast! Beach was clean with gorgeous path, the low tide didn’t bother us. Spa treatments were professional. We were sad to leave.

The resort is set in a beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by tropical nature and overlooking the stunning Indian Ocean. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, making it a perfect place to disconnect and enjoy a few days of pure tranquility. Our room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, while the pools and the beautiful surroundings made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was very good, with a nice variety of dishes and fresh local flavors. The staff were definitely one of the highlights of our stay — extremely friendly, attentive and always ready to help with a genuine smile. A special mention also goes to the beautiful sunset views and the overall peaceful atmosphere of the resort. Overall, Fruit & Spice is a great choice for anyone looking for a relaxing Zanzibar getaway, beautiful scenery, good food and genuinely warm hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back! 🌴✨ **⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️**

Schöne Anlage, leider an manchen Stellen nicht gepflegt und renovierungsbedürftig. (Z.B. abblätternde Farbe an den Pools und fehlende Handläufe am Poolrand. Wenig zu empfehlen für ältere Gäste) Wenig Gäste, somit sehr ruhig. (Juli 26) Hauptsaison laut Mitarbeitern ab November bis Januar. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und gastorientiert. (Im Service besonders hervorgetan hat sich Venson). Total überhöhte Preise für sämtliche Ausflüge oder ganztägigen Taxitouren über die Insel. Besser und viel günstiger über Fahmi-Tours direkt am Strand zu buchen.

We decided to come to this resort for our honeymoon, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. My husband planned everything, so I wasn't too sure what to expect, but the resort was absolutely stunning. The service was incredible every day; each staff member was kind and willing to assist. We specifically had a wonderful butler named Mohammed. He was incredibly delightful, kind, and attentive, and was always there to help with anything we needed. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well cared for throughout our stay. His warm personality and genuine care made such a difference, and he was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip. We are so grateful to have had Mohammed as our butler and would especially like to recognize him for making our experience so memorable. The pool, spa, and beach were all up to standard. It defintely is a wellness resort, as stated; most of the guests are out relaxing, so it is a quiet atmosphere. The food was fresh; the menu changed daily, so we had different choices. It was not the highlight of our trip, but it was still up to standard when we picked the right items. The drinks are quiet expensive if not included in your stay. Some parts of the resort are a bit outdated, but you can tell they put care into it; we noticed staff cleaning pool chairs every night. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would come again.

Very nice place beautiful surroundings , We had a great time, Mr.Ajay kumar ( General manager ) and Mr.Nageshwar Rao were very polite and always ready to help and they have taken care of us in excellent manner. The atmosphere was welcoming, everything was fresh abd delicious, The Saturday night buffet dinner gave us wonderful experience. Highly recommend for people who look for something special.

My stay at Fruit and Spice Hotel in Zanzibar was truly unforgettable. I originally chose this hotel because of its private beach and the beautiful jungle that surrounds the property, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. One of the most unique things about the hotel is its natural setting. The resort is nestled within lush tropical forest, and it feels like you are living in the middle of nature. During our stay, we were lucky enough to see monkeys moving through the trees and even bush babies at night, which made the experience feel really special and authentic to Zanzibar. The private beach was another highlight. It’s peaceful, clean, and far from the crowds you often find at other beaches on the island. It’s the perfect place to relax, swim, and enjoy the incredible views of the turquoise ocean. Something that really touched us was how the hotel cares for cats that have no home on the island. The cats are allowed to stay there and have shelter when is hot or when it’s raining in rainy season. As animal lovers, we absolutely loved this about the hotel. The cats were friendly and added a warm, homely feeling to the resort. Overall, Fruit and Spice Hotel offers a wonderful mix of nature, comfort, and compassion. Between the private beach, the jungle wildlife, and the hotel’s kindness toward animals, it created a truly memorable and heartwarming experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique place to stay in Zanzibar. They have amazing selection of food and it’s always fresh local produce. I recommend trying local cuisine. Special thank you to Ajay for warm welcome. Also Salome and Amur were amazing. All the staff were amazing and extremely helpful.
