I stayed here for two nights mid-week and would certainly return. The front desk team was incredibly helpful and friendly from check-in to check-out. My room was spacious and well-equipped with all the essentials, including a hairdryer and iron. The only reasons I’m rating this four stars instead of five are the street noise and the bathroom decor. The windows could use better sound insulation; I’d highly recommend bringing earplugs or headphones if you're a light sleeper. Additionally, the bathroom felt a bit "tired" and could use some TLC to freshen it up. On the plus side, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The pricing is fair and on par with a standard full Irish breakfast in the local area. The location is very central in Dublin and in a walking distance to many famous spots.

First walk into the hotel which looks nice and welcoming, from there it starts to go down hill once you get to the room. The rooms are very small, with a double bed pushed up against one of the walls. There is no wardrobe, just some hangers on wall hooks. The shower is incredibly small and near impossible to have a decent wash. Other than the bed, there is nothing to sit down on, so you might want to watch a bit of TV to relax, you’re choose your channel and start to watch, it then flicks back to the main menu after a couple of minutes and no way to switch it off, so it’s a big radio on the wall. The door stop fixed to the floor is very conveniently just beside the bed so perfect for stepping on just as you get out of bed! Other all, 2 stars out of 10

We look forward to our return! The rooms are spacious and the best beds/pillows we encountered on our visit to Ireland from the USA. The soap provided was lovely and the wall mounted dispensers are convenient. Noise was not a concern in the room but there is a fan provided which provides a nice soft white noise when used. The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. They were able to accommodate a slightly early check in so we could drop our bags off before running to the airport to return our rental car. Though, early check in for the room does often require a fee. The rooms offer air conditioning which we did not encounter anywhere else even at some luxury hotels. The location is fantastic - walking distance to many shops, bars and restaurants. We loved our stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful mini-break here. From the moment we walked in the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is gorgeous, really well situated for Temple Bar’s nightlife, which its own bar forms part of, but without being obtrusive, as it feels slightly separate to the hotel. We had a lovely dinner in the bar on our first night and the breakfast was one of the best buffet breakfasts we’ve had in any hotel. The whole team was great, especially Luisa the Front of House Manager.

We booked a Quad Room at Temple Bar Hotel three months in advance (mid-January) specifically because the hotel’s website clearly states that this room type has two double beds. That configuration was the main reason we chose this hotel and paid around €200 more than alternative hotels in Dublin. However, when we checked in on 24 April, the room provided did not match the room type advertised or booked. Instead of two double beds, the room had one larger bed and two single beds. Because of this, the room could not accommodate both guests as intended. One of us stayed in the room using the larger bed, while the other had to book another hotel (The Morgan next door - which was very nice) at a cost of €300 just to have a suitable bed for the night. What makes this particularly frustrating is that the booking was made more than three months in advance, yet we were told on arrival that the original room configuration was not available because the hotel was full. In other words, the hotel had sold a room type defined by two double beds, but could not actually provide it when we arrived. We were moved to the correct room type the following day, but the hotel has refused to offer any compensation for the first night, despite the fact that the room booked and advertised was not available on arrival. Hotels should not advertise specific bed configurations as part of a room category if they cannot guarantee them, especially when guests are booking months in advance and paying a premium for that setup. Very disappointing experience overall.

Staying at Temple Bar Hotel Dublin (The Unlimited Collection) puts you right in the heart of everything Dublin is known for — energy, culture, and unforgettable nights. ✨ The Experience If you want to feel Dublin… this is it. The hotel is located in the iconic Temple Bar district, surrounded by live music, pubs, and vibrant streets that never really sleep. Step outside, and you’re instantly part of the city’s rhythm. 🛏️ Rooms The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable — perfect after a long day exploring or a lively night out. Not overly luxurious, but well-designed and practical with everything you need to recharge. 📍 Location (Biggest Highlight) You’re walking distance to: • Trinity College • Grafton Street • River Liffey • Endless pubs, restaurants, and live music This location is unbeatable if you want convenience and nightlife all in one. 🍸 Vibe Fun, social, and lively. This is not a “quiet retreat” hotel — it’s for travelers who want to be in the middle of the action. You’ll hear the city, feel the music, and experience Dublin fully. ⚠️ Good to Know • It can be noisy at night (bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper) • Perfect for couples, friends, and solo travelers — less ideal for those seeking total quiet ⭐ Final Thought If your goal is to experience Dublin, not just visit it, this hotel delivers 100%. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) Because travel isn’t just where you stay… it’s how alive the place makes you feel
