We had the best stay at Sol y Mar. We were originally booked to stay for 5 nights and planned to travel further along the coast. We enjoyed the facilities and the location so much, that we extended our stay at the hotel for the full duration of our trip. The staff are so friendly, Danielle at reception made us feel so welcome and definitely made our stay extra special. The hotel is spotlessly clean, we thank Luz for the great job she did on our rooms each day. We stayed in sea view rooms, which were just spectacular. The breakfast is amazing, there is something for everyone. We can’t recommend Sol y Mar enough. We hope to return again in September to this wonderful hotel.

Great hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend if you are staying to go with a sea view room with the balcony as it can be quite hard to get a sun bed at both pool areas. Maria who cooks the omelettes is amazing and is so friendly . The only negative experience we had was last Sunday 30/08 when I went to the hotel bar for 2 glasses of cava . Throughout our stay all staff members filled the cava glasses to the full. This staff member however decided to fill both glasses around half full or slightly less . I did not say anything the first time but when I went up again for 2 more glasses they were filled again half way . I asked the server if it was possible to fill the glasses more as €7 is quite expensive for a half glass . The server was very rude and said no and turned her back to get the card reader . I asked her other colleague if it was possible to fill the glasses further and the other colleague did fill the glasses slightly more but not as much as normal. I have no issue if it’s the hotels policy to fill the glasses half full but I wanted to highlight how rude this individual was . I don’t however want to let one individual tarnish my review so overall I would definitely recommend the hotel for guests .

Servicio y Personal: Desde el momento en que cruzamos la puerta, la atención fue excepcional. El personal de recepción nos recibió con una sonrisa y una amabilidad increíble, haciéndonos sentir como en casa al instante. La Habitación: Amplia, impecable y decorada con un gusto exquisito. La cama era verdaderamente cómoda y las sábanas de una calidad suprema, lo que garantizó un descanso perfecto. Además, el aislamiento acústico es excelente; nada de ruidos molestos. Instalaciones y Desayuno: El desayuno buffet superó nuestras expectativas: productos frescos, mucha variedad y opciones para todos los gustos (el café y la bollería recién hecha, de diez). Las áreas comunes y [mencionar área: la piscina / el spa / el gimnasio] estaban impolutas y muy bien mantenidas. Ubicación: Inmejorable. Está perfectamente ubicado para recorrer la ciudad a pie, pero en una zona lo suficientemente tranquila para desconectar. Conclusión: Sin duda, uno de los mejores hoteles en los que me he alojado. La relación calidad-precio es fantástica y el cuidado por los detalles es evidente en cada rincón. ¡Volveremos sin pensarlo dos veces! Totalmente recomendable.

¡Una estancia perfecta e inolvidable! Hemos tenido una experiencia fantástica en este hotel. La habitación era sencillamente maravillosa, superando nuestras expectativas, y las vistas eran espectaculares (de esas que te cuesta dejar de mirar). Nos encantó la cantidad de pequeños detalles que encontramos en la habitación, lo que demuestra un gran mimo por el huésped. Mención especial merece el trato del personal: inmejorable, atentos, profesionales y siempre con una sonrisa. Sin duda, volveremos y lo recomendamos al 100%. ¡Gracias por hacernos sentir como en casa!

We’ve just returned from our family holiday and wedding in Spain, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We spent the majority of our stay at Suitopia with our three children, and it was absolutely perfect for a family trip. We also stayed at the Sol y Mar Hotel on the night of our wedding as a newly married couple, and although our stay was short, it was truly stunning. It was the perfect way to end such a special day, and we will 100% be returning for a longer break in the future. A special mention must go to Yasmine. The night before our wedding we organised a pre-drinks evening at the Doreè, and she was nothing short of incredible. So attentive, kind, and honest—nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She was an absolute joy to work with and a real credit to the Estemar team. The wider team working at the Doreè that evening were also outstanding and helped make the night feel so special and seamless. If we could do it all again, we would in a heartbeat. Please pass on our heartfelt thanks and recognition to everyone involved—they truly deserve it.
