So a trip to Gran Canaria - only Canary Island not yet visited. This hotel - Jet 2, 4 Star hotel, B&B package. Location - for views - stunning, especially in the evening when all the hotels and apartments around the bay are lit up. The hotel is up a hill - walkable up the road or via steps and a blue bridge/walkway. Caused me no problems and I am 70 years old. However anyone with mobility issues or breathing difficulties, check before booking. Cleanliness - the hotel is well maintained and immaculate looked after by the maintenance and housekeeping team. Contemporary decor. Lovely colours. Rooms - very spacious. Everything we needed including a little kitchen area complete with sink, microwave, mini hob, kettle, coffee maker some crockery, glasses and cutlery. A sofa and easy chair for relaxing. TV. Fresh bed sheets and towels. Spacious bathroom/shower room too. Everything we needed including washing up stuff and shower/hand wash. Staff friendly, helpful, professional. Breakfast - great selection appealing to different cultures. Lovely staff on hand to help. Dining room, again, immaculate. Pool and jacuzzi well maintained and very clean too. Sunbeds and parasols. Very happy with all aspects of this hotel and would certainly come back. Thanks to all for a lovely holiday stay. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. 😊❤️

Been here quite a few times, clean hotel, lovely breakfast and friendly staff Only downside is the bar now closes at 6pm and you have to pay £100 deposit with them when you stay. Also need to sort showers as the water goes all over the place.

If like us you got e mail to say they is construction work going on outside the building. Don't be alarmed to change hotel. Its hardly noticeable and we have only heard a little during the day and its our 4th day in to 10days. It as not affected our stay whats so ever. I have added picture of the building that are getting renovated. It is great hotel with great service and close to everything you need. Hope this helps as we was worried about coming with construction work.

The good : the hotel facilities such as the swimming pool, toilets are exceptionally clean. The pool although not very big is spotless clean, the sunbeds most of the times seem to be adequate. The restaurant offers a good choice of local and continental food options, I would say good quality and reasonably priced. The cleaners of the hotel are the hotels biggest asset, always smiling and very good in keeping the rooms clean and tidy. The bad, not many I suppose. The hotel could benefit from a indoor lounge area for the evenings and also the restaurant needs to be open for longer hours..

We had a lovely stay here for 12 nights basic breakfast with choice of hot and cold breakfast waiter service if wanting omelette which we tended to have with hot drinks etc and cooked bacon service times 7:30am to 1030 am after that point the dinning area small outside part has a menu for other cooked meals drinks ice cream etc that stays open till 3 pm which is a shame that it doesn't stay open during the evening but there are plenty of food and drinks venue's within 10 mins walk but remember your up a hill.There is €100 deposit when your arrive for your room you get that back in 24 hours from checking out so we paid card not sure what happens if you pay cash.There is also a small hotel tax. The towels are €10 each deposit and one euro to change for clean ones room was nice clean and tidy in all very nice hotel

Excellent reception staff, our room wasn't quite ready but a couple of drinks in the bar and we were ready. 100 euro room deposit. 10 euro deposit per pool towel. Staying on the ground floor sc at the Yaizasol was a good choice. Small very quiet pool, often just us and another couple. Only 9 sunbeds but never saw more than 7 occupied and that was only for a short period. More beds on the roof terrace which has lift access. Pool, bar and sunbathing areas available to use at the Atlantic if you wish. Room was spacious, air con was on when we entered which was a nice touch. Proper key no card nonsense. Large walk in shower and I do mean large. Beds were 2 pushed together and the bedding a bit worn. Sleep was ok though. Cleaning 5 days a week. Ladies are very friendly and doing a fine job. All in all a great time. Out and about Puerto Rico is great for live music. Chris Mooney at the Blarney Stone, Dale GC at the Temple bar both in the Europa centre, walk to the taxi rank and 6 euros later your there. Walk back at 2am is fun. Shamrock bar in the main shopping centre has some great guitar and drums every night plus the legend Kelly Marlow doing a wild 2 and a half hour show. Don't miss it at least once. Veso is well worth a look at the Shamrock too superb guitarist.
