Service 0/10 Nobody cares about you here. You pay €2,000 for 7 days and they treat you as if you paid €20. If you arrive at the pool after 10 a.m., don't expect to find a spot anywhere. No one will help you or assist you. We walk over 45minutes. You also won't get a drink unless you run to get it yourself. There are around 300 guests around you, but the staff act as if you don't exist. The only thing u can get is kids screaming around you. The resort looks beautiful and the themed areas are well designed, but appearances can be deceiving. Everything seems focused on finding another way to charge guests. While most resorts provide basic amenities like an iron, here you have to pay €4 just to have one item ironed. If you are looking for a relaxing couples' getaway, this is not the place. The atmosphere is stressful rather than welcoming, and the service falls far below expectations for the price paid. This is definitely not the level of service you would expect from a hotel in this price range.

Una experiencia fantástica. Todo ha ido genial desde el primer momento y hemos disfrutado muchísimo. Queremos destacar especialmente la recepción, ya que nos atendieron de maravilla, con muchísima amabilidad y cercanía, y estuvieron pendientes de que todo estuviera perfecto. Nos hemos sentido muy cómodos y bien atendidos durante toda la estancia y, sin duda, nos llevamos muy buen recuerdo. Lo hemos pasado fenomenal y repetiríamos sin dudarlo. ¡Totalmente recomendable!

A really well designed and African themed hotel. A lot of thought has gone into this massive Lopesan hotel with large pools, mildly heated and a lazy river too. The rooms and walkways were a bit tired, can do with an update. There were occasional wall paper off the wall. The staff and service was good, also used the Lopesan app to request few room items. I found it odd that the pool towels were only given out between 10am-12 pm from the pool huts, however they were available from the reception. The food and the spread during the breakfast was good, the staff and chef were friendly and accommodating. The entertainment every night was good and as of a varied theme. What I loved the most was how when you walked through the entrance, the greenery and the waterfall transported you to the another world and felt relaxed and happy straight away. The hotel is close to promenade, restaurants, Maspalomas beach, famous dunes and a bus station for buses to Puerto de Mogan and Puerto Rico. Overall we had a good stay and holiday with family was good.

Die Hotelanlage ist wirklich unbeschreiblich schön und gehört für mich definitiv zu den schönsten Anlagen, die ich bisher besucht habe. Alles ist äußerst stilvoll, kreativ und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Besonders die Architektur, die Gestaltung der Anlage und die wunderschönen Poolbereiche haben mich sehr beeindruckt. Allein die Atmosphäre und das Ambiente machen das Hotel zu einem besonderen Ort. Allerdings gehört für mich zu einem gelungenen Urlaub neben einer schönen Anlage auch gutes Essen – und genau hier sehe ich leider die größte Schwäche des Hotels. Das Buffet ist meiner Meinung nach für ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel nicht ausreichend vielfältig. Die Auswahl ist relativ überschaubar und viele Speisen waren leider nur lauwarm oder sogar kalt. Auch geschmacklich konnten uns viele Gerichte nicht überzeugen. Häufig fehlte es an Würze und Raffinesse, sodass die Speisen insgesamt eher lieblos wirkten. Für den Anspruch, den das Hotel aufgrund seiner Kategorie vermittelt, hätte ich hier deutlich mehr erwartet. Aus diesem Grund würde ich bei einem erneuten Aufenthalt definitiv keine Vollpension mehr buchen. Tatsächlich habe ich während unseres Aufenthalts sogar abgenommen – was im Urlaub normalerweise eher nicht mein Ziel ist. 😄 Auch die Zimmer konnten leider nicht ganz mit dem ansonsten beeindruckenden Erscheinungsbild der Anlage mithalten. Sie wirken teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Matratzen unserer Betten waren deutlich durchgelegen. Außerdem bestand unser Doppelbett lediglich aus zwei zusammengestellten Einzelbetten, die sich leider immer wieder auseinander- bzw. hin und her verschoben haben. Das war insbesondere nachts ziemlich störend und für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie aus meiner Sicht nicht optimal. Trotz dieser Kritikpunkte möchte ich betonen, dass das Hotel als Gesamtanlage wirklich wunderschön ist. Die Architektur, die liebevolle Gestaltung, die Poollandschaft und das gesamte Ambiente sind außergewöhnlich und haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wenn das gastronomische Angebot qualitativ und hinsichtlich der Vielfalt noch deutlich verbessert und die Zimmer teilweise modernisiert würden, hätte das Hotel meiner Meinung nach das Potenzial, seinem Fünf-Sterne-Anspruch wesentlich besser gerecht zu werden

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Lopesan Baobab Resort with my family for 11 nights in July 2026, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel is spectacular! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, extremely well maintained and carefully designed down to the smallest detail. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by a stunning and impressive entrance that immediately gives you a sense of the quality of the resort. The service is impeccable, always attentive and professional. The food is excellent, with a great variety of choices to suit every taste. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. A resort that really stands out for its beauty, attention to detail, and high-quality service. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Super schönes Hotel .. atemberaubend. Die Pools, es ist alles wirklich top.. ja hier und da muss mal renoviert werden oder der Teppich mal gesäubert werden, und ja die Zimmer sind hellhörig. Aber bei der Grosse des Hotels bleibt es nicht aus .. das Personal traumhaft nett. Und gepflegt ist das Hotel trotzdem . Wunderschöne Erfahrung
