Me gustó, pero no volvería. El hotel cumplió con casi todo lo que esperaba, la habitación era amplia y cómoda, el buffet muy variado y cambiaba cada día, las instalaciones y piscinas estaban muy bien. El gran pero, es que eran unas vacaciones en familia, y todas las actividades, incluido el club infantil (kids club) solo estaban en inglés, los monitores infantiles no sabían español y eso es algo que no te esperas en un hotel situado en España, por muy orientado a turistas que esté. Es algo que nos sorprendió a todas las familias españolas que conocimos.

There is a reason we have been here more than once and that’s because it’s excellent all round. The staff are amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. You only have to look around to see how hard they work and how much pride they take in their jobs. If I was the owner I would be very very proud of all of them. The rooms are great and they are cleaned to a high standard every day. The food is good, regular menu changes and the it is cooked very well. The location is good for a family hotel and they have dedicated security. The location is great for key attractions and this hotel works very well with TUI to provide really good excursions. The pools are big enough even at business times and are safe in the presence of lifeguards who are very attentive to their role. On site shops ante handy for last minute purchases with the choice to go to bigger supermarkets annd shops only a 5 minute walk away. All in all this is an excellent example of 4* hotel and I would recommend it to anyone. We will be back for a third time next year.

No le doy 5 estrellas por fallos en limpieza zonas comunes (los suelos pasillos hacia las habitaciones se han tirado la semana entera de mi estancia sin limpiar ) y lo peor los colchones . No puede ser que de 4 que había en la habitación todos estén igual de hundidos ya por el medio del uso. En cuanto al servicio todos nos han tratado muy bien y trabajan bien, pero tengo que hacer especial mención a Pepe y Vero , en la zona de barra . Se pegan un currazo sin parar sirviendo bebidas... Y a Yordanis en la zona de comedor, siempre sonriendo a los clientes y haciendo muy bien su trabajo. Gracias ! La comida nos ha sorprendido para muy bien, buena calidad , buena variedad... Quizás mejorar postres con menos tarta industrial.... (Entiendo que con tanto cliente es difícil mejorar aquí ). En la animación del hotel, deberían hablar más en español...sobre todo a los niños .

Luces y sombras. La comida, es bastante variada y tiene muchas opciones sanas y de buena calidad. Quizá, lo mejor del hotel. Las habitaciones están bien, aunque es un complejo muy grande y te puede tocar muy a desmano de la zona de la piscina o del restaurante, algo incomodo si vas con niños o con personas mayores. Las piscinas son grandes y tienen muchas zonas donde haces pie y otras que no, para todos los gustos, sin embargo, nos ha parecido que el complejo alberga muchas personas para poca piscina y en ocasiones, parecemos sardinas en lata. Desde mi punto de vista y lo que menos me ha gustado de todo, es que las actividades que se realizan para amenizar por la noche se hacen únicamente en inglés. Incomprensible siendo una isla donde el idioma natal, es el castellano. Con esto no digo que solo se hable en español, no. Cmo en muchos otros hoteles, deberían tener personal de animación k hable varios idiomas y realizar las actuaciones donde se habla en varios idiomas. Ir traduciendo sobre la marcha, algo muy sencillo teniendo en cuenta que incluso tienen pantalla. Yo, solo por este motivo, no volveré a este complejo, ni lo recomendaré a nadie que no sea extranjero. Una pena.

Wir haben uns als junges Paar spontan für eine Last-Minute-Reise mit TUI und damit für das Hotel Orquidea in Bahia Feliz entschieden. Zunächst waren wir positiv überrascht, dass wir statt eines Zimmers mit Blick auf die umliegende Landschaft sogar ein Zimmer mit Meerblick zugewiesen bekommen haben. Allerdings sind uns bereits zu Beginn einige Mängel aufgefallen. - Die Hotelanlage ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. - Es sind Risse sichtbar und die Fassade blättert teilweise ab. - Besonders die Gänge befinden sich in schlechtem Zustand: Wollmäuse, Farbflecken und grobe Verunreinigungen auf den Böden. In den Hotelzimmern selbst fanden wir abgesehen von etwas Schmutz in den Ecken keine größeren Verunreinigungen vor. - Im Gegensatz dazu wirken Restaurant, Rezeption und der Außenbereich sehr gepflegt und vermitteln einen deutlich hygienischeren Eindruck. - Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, die im All-inclusive-Paket inbegriffen sind, ist mehr als zufriedenstellend. - Das Personal ist höflich und respektvoll. - Das Klientel, welches das Hotel besucht, ist überwiegend wenig rücksichtsvoll hinsichtlich Nachtruhe, Ordnung und Sauberkeit. - Es entsteht der Eindruck, dass das Hotel personell unterbesetzt und dauerhaft stark ausgelastet ist. Der hohe Gästewechsel scheint teilweise zulasten von Sauberkeit und Instandhaltung zu gehen. - In der Hotelanlage waren überwiegend Gäste aus Großbritannien mit Kleinkindern anzutreffen. Das Hotel ist daher aus unserer Sicht eher auf Familien als auf junge Paare ausgelegt. - Wir fanden zwei Kakerlaken auf unserem Zimmer vor: Eine davon kam nachweislich aus dem Duschabfluss, die andere fanden wir kurze Zeit später ebenfalls im Zimmer. - Da der Boden in der Dusche nicht ausreichend zum Abfluss hin geneigt war, lief das Wasser nicht richtig ab, sodass zeitweise das halbe Bad unter Wasser stand. - Eine Mitnutzung der umliegenden Hotelanlagen, unter anderem des Playa Feliz, war möglich. Dort fanden wir die Atmosphäre deutlich entspannter. - Das Wellness- und Fitnessangebot war sehr zufriedenstellend. Trotz dieser Mängel hatten wir insgesamt eine schöne Zeit auf Gran Canaria. Gegen Ende unseres Aufenthalts konnten wir auch die besondere Atmosphäre der Anlage zunehmend schätzen. Vor allem das Meer direkt vor der Hotelanlage ist natürlich atemberaubend schön und macht die Lage zu einem großen Pluspunkt. Man sollte sich bei der Buchung allerdings bewusst sein, dass die Anlage an einigen Stellen deutlich renovierungsbedürftig ist und der Fokus klar auf Familien und weniger auf jungen Paaren liegt. Wer sich darauf einstellt, kann hier dennoch einen schönen Urlaub verbringen. Für uns war das Hotel trotz der genannten Kritikpunkte durchaus einen Besuch wert.

This was a last minute 4-night stay and we got a very good deal, but even so we have absolutely loved our time here! Everything has been thought of. We arrived late at night but the selection of food was great, from lasagne to pizzas etc. Dinner each day was very busy but we expected that. The pools were warm and I must mention the AI drinks - no bar queues as you can help yourself to all premium soft drinks, beer, wine and sangria. Only needed the bar for cocktails and they were lovely and strong. The split level rooms are a fab idea. All of the staff were very friendly but it does help if you greet them in their own language (many don't). There are so many activities to take part in, we attended a foam party, beach party and aerobics while we were there and chose to relax the rest of the time - but there is lots to do if you want it. There are also two handy on-site shops. Will be coming back for sure!
