We’ve just returned from livvo koala, Long read but here’s my review. The hotel rooms were lovely, spacious, and very well equipped. Our apartment-style accommodation had a separate living room and bedroom, both with their own TVs, plus a balcony. The bathroom was excellent, with a separate shower and bath, and I particularly liked that the hotel used refillable hand soap and shower gel dispensers rather than single-use plastics. The food throughout our stay was very good with plenty of variety. The main restaurant offered freshly made pizzas, Spanish dishes, a great salad bar, soups, and a good selection of desserts. The snack bar was also excellent, serving hot dogs, burgers, pizza, and salads throughout the day. The pool bar was one of the highlights. It offered all the favourite fizzy drinks, a slushy machine, coffee machine, and water dispenser, all available on a self-service basis. The bartender was fantastic, and the all-inclusive package included cider, beer, wine, and cocktails. There were also snacks available during the day, including nachos and pastries, with peanuts served in the evening. The entertainment team truly made the holiday special. During the day they regularly walked around inviting guests to join in activities, creating a fun and friendly atmosphere. There was something for everyone, from relaxed games such as bingo and dice games to more active options including darts, archery, bowls, and bowling. Everyone was encouraged to join in, regardless of age or ability. Evening entertainment was equally impressive, with a mini disco for children followed by professional shows in a lovely open-air setting. The entertainment team were outstanding throughout our stay and worked incredibly hard to keep everyone entertained. The hotel itself is spread across different zones, each with its own pool area. There were plenty of sunbeds available and lots of space, so it never felt overcrowded. The location was also ideal for exploring. We visited the water park using the hotel’s free bus service and took a taxi back for under €10. We also visited the beach by bus and again returned by taxi for less than €10. On Saturday, we enjoyed visiting the market in Playa del Inglés, which had a great atmosphere and plenty of stalls to browse. A return taxi journey cost less than €20.

Un hôtel avec un cadre intérieur agréable et joli, un personnel adorable et un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais dont le potentiel est vite gâché... Le personnel est particulièrement gentil et dévoué! Un grand merci à tous, au service comme à la réception, pour leurs conseils, leur sourire et leur serviabilité ! Le buffet est assez simple, mais très bon. Il y a un grand choix de légumes autant cuits que crus, ce qui est assez rare pour être souligné. Midi et soir vous trouverez une viande et un poisson frais, cuits minute à la plancha. Le point à améliorer pour nous reste la pâtisserie et les desserts qui manquent de finesse, mais j'ai l'impression que c'est un peu le cas partout quand on voyage hors de France 😊 heureusement les fruits et les glaces sont bons. Le comportement d'une certaine partie de la clientèle présente en même temps que nous nous a surpris, pour ne pas dire clairement incommodés. Nous n'avons pas les mêmes codes, notamment en matière de bruit et de respect (de nuit surtout...) ou en matière d'hygiène avec des verres renversés en bord de piscine, restes de nourriture abandonnés n'importe où... Le personnel d'entretien fait preuve d'un dévouement assez incroyable! Les chambres sont très spacieuses et propres avec beaucoup de rangements ainsi que thé, café et bouilloire à disposition. Malheureusement, elles sont très mal insonorisées, donc lorsqu'une dispute éclate au milieu de la nuit ou qu'un groupe un peu éméchés décide de sauter dans la piscine, on entend absolument tout, même avec les fenêtres fermées. L'arrière de notre chambre donnait sur une rue très passante, de jour comme de nuit, ainsi que sur un stade de foot. Entre toutes ces sources de bruit dues à la localisation et celles dues au manque de savoir-vivre de certains autres clients, les nuits ont été très compliquées. L'absence de repos, c'est vraiment le point noir de ces vacances. En bref, je laisse un avis un peu "impitoyable" avec toutefois quelques remords parce que le personnel est vraiment extraordinaire, mais je rentre chez moi plus fatiguée qu'au départ...

Personally, I’d say ignore the negative reviews as this was one of the nicest apartments I’ve stayed in. The rooms were huge, as well as the bathroom, with both a bath and a separate shower. There were massive wardrobes with plenty of hangers, and the bed was our favourite—it was two single frames with one huge mattress and was so comfortable. The TV had Netflix so you could log into your own account, and the air conditioning kept the room really cold. Ours did leak a little water onto the floor, so we kept a towel there to stop anyone slipping. The balcony was massive with plenty of space to sit and hang up clothes and towels. The food was okay—they had pizza every night alongside paella and other Spanish dishes. There were always chips and nuggets for younger ones, and the pork on some nights was amazing. There was also bread, desserts, fruit and ice cream, although a lot of the restaurant was salad options. Joey’s restaurant wasn’t really worth booking in our opinion as it was very similar to the main restaurant, just with lasagne and pasta. We stayed in Zone 1, which was the quieter pool area. The pools are quite deep, but there were always lifeguards on duty and a shallow pool for children. The artificial grass around the pool didn’t bother us. There are a few cats around the hotel, but they’re fed by the hotel so they never beg for food and are actually really cute. Sometimes there was a slight smell where they’d weed, but it wasn’t a big issue. There are self-service drinks stations, although we did notice ants around the Coca-Cola dispenser one day because of the sugar. The other drinks were fine. If you’re drinking alcohol, the bar is a short walk from the sunbeds, but the drinks are strong and the bar staff are really friendly. I also saw reviews mentioning a language barrier, but you’re visiting somebody else’s country. Learning a few basic Spanish phrases goes a long way, and we found the locals and hotel staff to be very welcoming and pleasant. One useful tip—they don’t always tell you at check-in that you can use your room key to open the gates around the hotel to get straight onto the main road. We only found that out on our last night! The location is lovely and peaceful, with a beautiful park nearby and easy buses or taxis to Playa del Inglés. Overall I’d give it 8/10. The food could definitely be better, but everything else made it a great stay. I’d definitely return.

Still here now day 4, day 3 my grandchild got locked in a toilet, staff unable to get her out and attempted to open the lock with a butter knife on x3 occasions, maids do not bring fresh bath towels to the room. You have to get you own water for the kettle, even though there are fridges in the apartment. Entertainment has been the same every night since arrival. No TUI rep available, This is not a 4 star all inclusive hotel

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'Hôtel LIVVO Koala Garden. Le personnel est accueillant, souriant et toujours disponible. Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables et très propres. Les piscines sont agréables et bien entretenues, parfaites pour se détendre. Le buffet est varié, avec un bon choix de plats chaque jour, et les animations permettent de passer de bons moments en famille ou entre amis. Le rapport qualité-prix est très bon et l'ambiance de l'hôtel est conviviale. Nous repartons avec de très bons souvenirs et n'hésiterons pas à revenir. Merci à toute l'équipe pour ces belles vacances !

Escribo esta reseña como vecino afectado por la total falta de civismo y respeto de este establecimiento hacia la comunidad local. El Hotel LIVVO Koala Garden incumple sistemáticamente las limitaciones de ruido establecidas por ley; es materialmente imposible que tengan instalados y precintados los limitadores acústicos obligatorios. La gestión del ruido por parte de la dirección es lamentable. He llamado en numerosas ocasiones para quejarme: bajan el volumen temporalmente para cumplir el expediente, pero a los pocos minutos vuelven a subirlo. El problema es diario: * El volumen del micrófono del animador es exageradamente alto, totalmente injustificado para la escasa cantidad de huéspedes que realmente asisten y participan en las actividades. Basta con caminar por la vía pública para darse cuenta de la magnitud del ruido. * Las noches de karaoke: Son una auténtica pesadilla. Un espectáculo de muy mal gusto que rompe por completo el descanso de cualquier persona. * Impacto a gran distancia: Yo vivo a más de 500 metros del hotel y puedo escuchar perfectamente, palabra por palabra, lo que grita el animador por el micrófono. Es lamentable que esta sea la imagen que queremos dar al turismo de la isla: una oferta de entretenimiento mediocre, ruidosa y especialmente dirigida al turismo de borrachera, a costa de destrozar el bienestar y el descanso de los residentes. Si no son capaces de convivir de forma cívica y respetar la legalidad vigente, las autoridades deberían tomar cartas en el asunto de inmediato.
