Hotel Sol Lanzarote

We had a wonderful seven-day family experience at Sol Lanzarote. My wife and six-year-old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed all the aspects of the resort. The entertainment was fantastic thanks to Lorenzo and Nathan. The pool variety and cleaning were also top-notch. The food and location were perfect. The rooms could be improved a bit though. Our double superior was a bit dated. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Nejvetsi benefit hotelu je poloha hned u plaze a promenady.Bazeny jsou neustale oblozene od rana.Jidlo bylo fajn, pokoj v casti kde je pristylka je hlucny,je slyset hudba a miderator ktery mluvi do mikrofonu v prubehu celeho dne,ale po 22/23h uz ok,jen se musi vypinat lednice,ktera huci.Napoje na baru vecer ok,z postmixu a automatu na kavu nam piti nechutnalo Plaz ma dost velky odliv a dal jsou uz kameny,tak je nekdy problem si jit zaplavat.

Hemos estado alojados 8 dias en familia (2 adultos y una niña de 5 años). Nos vamos del hotel con un sabor agridulce. PUNTOS POSITIVOS: - Comida muy buena y con gran variedad - Variedad de bebidas en el todo incluido - Ubicación del hotel - Personal. Animación (ana, maria, kylian y demas compañeros), camareros (Alberto, espe, Maria,...) - Camas grandes y cómodas - Gestion de devoluciones (olvide un anillo y lo guardaron hasta que pude enviar a alguien a recogerlo) PUNTOS NEGATIVOS: - Animación escasa. Las actividades pobres (relajación, estiramientos,...) y con horario muy limitado (actividad por la mañana y otra a las 17h y hasta la noche no hay nada) - Miniclub en un sótano. No tiene luz natural y tiene un horario muy limitado para dejar niños a partir de 5 años (10:00 a 12:30h y de 15:00 a 16:30). No dan la opción de estar con los niños fuera de horario de actividad. - Minidisco a las 20.30h muy repetitiva (Poca variedad de canciones, poco visual - nada de luces, disfraces, mascota, ...) - Hay un espacio en medio del hotel con bebidas y una cocina en desuso (hemos ido en junio con el hotel lleno, si en ese momento no lo abren no se cuando lo abriran). Ese espacio se podria usar para el miniclub ya que es amplio y hay luz natural. - Socorristas con playeras, sudadera... no creo que sea uniforme adecuado para ir a salvar a nadie. - Espectáculos nocturnos bastante pobres (la mayoría de dias es una persona o grupo cantando en inglés, sin nada visual ni participativo) - Limpieza en la habitación bastante justita. De hecho nos quejamos en recepcion (una araña en la pared desde hace un par de dias, sabana sucia y rota que no cambiaron, amenities que pides que repongan y no lo hacen, polvo, ...) - Temperatura de las piscinas muy fría. Tiene 4 piscinas (2 climatizadas y 2 sin climatizar). Las mas grandes son las no climatizadas y dada la temperatura de fuera con el viento constante, hace que sea imposible meterse al agua. De hecho la poca gente que se mete es a última hora (17.30h, a las 18.30h cierra piscinas) y es en la del medio. No apetece bañarse. En resumen: Para ser un hotel de cadena como es Meliá nos ha decepcionado bastante. Espacios poco aprovechados a pesar de estar en buena zona y en primera línea de playa. Dudo que volvamos

Wir waren vor acht Jahren das erste Mal zu unseren Flitterwochen hier und waren damals schon so begeistert. Jetzt beim zweiten Mal würden wir keinesfalls enttäuscht. Es war sogar noch schöner. Die Zimmer sind selbst für Standardzimmer sehr geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Das Essen ist fantastisch und es ist immer für jeden etwas dabei. Es sind ausreichend Liegen am Pool vorhanden und man hat immer einen Platz bekommen. Es ist immer sauber und gepflegt und das Personal sowie die Animateure sind immer freundlich und zuvorkommend.

The hotel- the hotel as a whole is massive, lots of sunbeds, big pools so space for everyone. Great location close to Puerto del Carmen and tons of bars and food places around. By the beach too which is a plus. Rooms- our room was absolutely lovely. Big and spacious, great sea view, and was very clean with a large balcony. Food- the restaurant is a great area, lots of tables and choice to sit inside or out. However, food was mediocre. Not very many options and very basic. Entertainment - the team were absolutely lovely, so friendly and great with kids, with a big shout out to Lorenzo! We would have loved more activities to be on but whatever was put on was great! We enjoyed some of the themed nights but would have liked shows to be a bit longer with mini disco songs sometimes a bit repetitive but the energy was always at a 100%. The staff around the hotel are absolutely phenomenal and so friendly and approachable. Always willing to help. They have a great range of cocktails for an all inclusive. As a whole the hotel had a great vibe, and was very family friendly, safe and welcoming with a great location and view.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The best asset is the staff. Everyone was very friendly and always here to help. We also really appreciated the welcome gifts on arrival which made a very big difference to us! The room seemed to be renovated and was clean. The big downside was the lack of air conditioning. After checking with reception, we found out that it was only on between 06:00pm and 02:00am which was odd. We often woke up around 3:00am as it started to get hot in the room and, as we had a ground floor room, we did not want to leave the window open. The food was good for an all inclusive hotel and was different each night. The pool bar was a great addition with plenty of food and drinks available throughout the day. There were plenty of pools and they were cleaned but the deeper one needs to be renovated. It was very difficult to find a bed as they were reserved from early morning by people who did not care that it was written everywhere that it was forbidden. It’s a shame that the staff does not enforce this rule. It’s a hotel with ups and downs but for the price paid it was great value and we would return without hesitation.
