Firstly, there is no beach, don't believe what they say on expedia. We stayed here for 5 nights as a mini break. Service and hospitality was good but not wow. As it just outside of the main season it was very quiet & some of the restaurants/area of hotel were undergoing renovations/maintenance. We were supposed to be here all inclusive but due to a problem with Expedia, ended up with B&B. And honestly I'm glad. The food here especially in the buffet was average at best and very repetitive. I've had better food at lower price points. The speciality restaurant food was nicer but certainly not worth the up charge. We went to the local marina and found nicer food at decent prices. We stayed in the A block on the 8th floor. Warning to anyone, because its above the main atrium, it is very noisey in the evenings and more so when the entertainment is performing (which is ever night). Then there is also the loud clean up of that area, which seems to never end, with tables and chairs being dragged on tiles floor. The room was great, the only thing is expect to see ants, even in the bed.

A great all inclusive resort. The drinks are premium, Mahou on tap and real cocktails in the piano bar (Old Fashioned, Martini etc.). The food is good and the mix of a la Carter restaurants and the main buffet keeps things fresh for 7-10 days without being to repetitive. The evening entertainment was surprisingly good. They have a rotation over 7 days, all genuinely talented. We went in June. I wasnt clear if they weren't at capacity, but getting a sun lounger wasn't ever an issue - no getting up at 7am to reserve. Overall, a relaxed, adult atmosphere great for couples. Big shout out to the gents in the piano lounge who were fantastic throughout, even when it got really busy during the evening entertainment. Getting a drink at your table was never an issue and they worked hard to achieve it.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Secrets. The hotel, facilities and food is of a very high standard. We booked B&B, availed of Coco cafe several times as well as Bluewater Grill for lunch on three occasions. Breakfast is really good with so many options, the only improvement needed is on the pastries (see further below). Staff generally are very pleasant and helpful. Our only negative experience was at the main bar in the evening where one staff member was quite abrupt with my husband. The staff seemed to be under pressure as it was very busy. I had mentioned I was pregnant when I booked so I was a little disappointed that there was no pregnancy pillow or any effort / consideration of this, We also had a super early check out and the hotel didn’t give us “to go” breakfast boxes which is something they should consider for guests who cannot avail of breakfast. I had booked treatments for my husband and I in the spa. This was an excellent, truly 5* experience. My masseuse Melisa gave me a thoroughly enjoyable pregnancy massage and even a little gift for my baby, a lovely touch. Well worth the price and a good real highlight of our stay. Some suggestions for the management of Secrets: - please upgrade the bathroom amenities; shower gel (which is lime green!), shampoo etc. They are made in PRC and the quality is very poor and way off 5* standard. The hotel could showcase a Canarian or Spanish brand. - Please instruct the chambermaids to fold the towels on the rack. Every day, one of the towels dangles directly where the toilet it. This is simply not hygienic! The towels should also be thicker and better quality overall. - Change the pastries at breakfast. The pastries have an off-putting gel coating on top and some even with chocolate sprinkles. - Have more signage / communication on what the entertainment is. - Room decor is a little bland and beige. More colour would be welcome!

My partner and I just returned from a 7-night stay at the secrets hotel. We were so impressed as soon as we walked through the door. Staff are very kind and attentive and will always be ready to help you. The hotel itself is wonderful. We had a pool facing room which was lovely and we could see the sea too. Rooms were cleaned everyday and to an exceptional standard. Very spacious, quiet and comfortable. We had breakfast every morning which was always the same but to a good quality. The pools are quite cold but refreshing after sitting in the hot sun. There are plenty of sun beds so nothing to worry about. We often walked to Puerto calero for dinners, there are some great restaurants there and markets on Tuesdays and Fridays. We also enjoyed the entertainment on the evenings, there was lots of variety over the 7 nights. Only thing to mention is that there a lot of cats in the local area that also make their way into the outside areas of the hotel; particularly at night when it is cooler. They seem friendly but we kept our distance, just something to note if you’re not keen on cats! Overall I would definitely return, our first time visiting Lanzarote was made so special, thank you secrets hotel!

Our stay at Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa was honestly beyond amazing. If I could give more than 10 stars, I genuinely would — I would give 1,000,000 stars! 🌟 A massive thank you to Airam, who was absolutely incredible from the moment we arrived. As this was our first time at the resort and we had no idea where everything was, the tour he gave us when we checked in was amazing. He explained everything so clearly, showed us where everything was and gave us such helpful directions, which made settling in so much easier. He was so welcoming when taking us to our room and even made sure we had plenty of water for our stay. His hospitality, kindness and customer service were exceptional, and I genuinely could not rate him any higher. A massive thank you to Airam for making our arrival so special! Another huge thank you goes to Kevin at the pool bar, who was absolutely amazing throughout our stay. He was always so welcoming, had a friendly smile every time we saw him and, what made it even more special, he always remembered our name. Those little personal touches really made the experience so much more memorable. His customer service was exceptional and he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after

We had a fantastic stay at Secrets Resort & Spa Lanzarote. The resort is beautiful, spotless, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was lovely, comfortable, and cleaned to an excellent standard every day, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The food and drinks were great, with plenty of choice at the buffet and a different theme each night, which kept the dining experience varied and enjoyable. Activities could be booked easily through the Hyatt Inclusive Collection app, making it simple to plan and make the most of our stay. The evening cocktail demonstrations were a real highlight for us and became something we looked forward to each night. They were great fun and a fantastic addition to the evening entertainment. A special mention to the resort’s resident cats, who added so much charm and made our holiday even more memorable. It was great to see them being so well cared for, and they truly added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the resort. They were such a wonderful part of our experience and may just have been the extra special touch that makes us want to return again in the future! Thank you to everyone at Secrets Resort & Spa Lanzarote for such a wonderful holiday and for creating so many happy memories.
