⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great stay at R2 Kontiki Apartments and would happily return. Our apartment had a separate bedroom with a large comfortable bed, a lounge area with a kitchenette, sofa and TV, plus a balcony where we could relax in the evenings. It was spacious, clean, and worked very well for a family stay. A lovely surprise was a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us on arrival, which was a very nice touch and made us feel welcome from the start. The staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast was excellent. Hot dishes such as fried eggs, omelettes, scrambled eggs and pancakes were freshly cooked to order by the chef, while the buffet offered a good variety of food and changed between days, which kept things interesting. The kitchenette and fridge were very useful during our stay. The fridge was large enough to keep local food fresh, and we enjoyed a simple evening meal of Spanish ham and cheese on our balcony. The location is excellent. There is a supermarket nearby for anything you might need, and the apartments are just a short walk from the main street with its many restaurants, bars, shops and the beach. We decided to take advantage of the late checkout option (€40 till 3pm, €50 till 6pm) because our flight was in the evening. It was well worth it, as it allowed us to enjoy the pool for most of the day before heading to the airport. The pool is suitable for both children and adults, with depths ranging from around 0.5 m - 1.5 m. It felt very family-friendly and was one of the highlights of our stay. Sea view at breakfast and from the swimming area was a nice bonus. Parking was never a problem, with plenty of spaces available on the surrounding streets. Overall, a very family-friendly place in a great location with excellent staff, breakfast and facilities. Highly recommended.

We went to Bahia Kontiki on a recommendation by a family member and had a great time. Location: Good central location. Easy walk to the Old Town and close to numerous bars and restaurants. Also close to the beach. It is on a steep hill but that's no different to most apartments here just by the nature of the area. Convenience store just across from the front entrance to the complex. Rooms: The rooms are clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Pool Area: Plenty of beds, excellent artificial grass area with seaviews. The pool area is quiet (no music) giving you the choice of a peaceful day or listening via your own headphones etc. Pool itself was cold and that was only downside but not a major thing. Restaurant: Small restaurant with outside area. Food was lovely (recommend the Marina Salad), Cocktails also nice and all reasonably priced. Chill Out Area: we didn't actually use this but down at the bottom section of apartments there is a nice chill out zone. If you don't fancy the pool, this looked like a great secluded area. Reception: Nice welcoming area and really friendly staff. All in all, we loved it and will be back in the future.

Lovely hotel but management don't adhere to their own rules, if you put rules in place stick to them not if you just feel like doing so, pool not big enough to have inflatables and ball games in which your rule boards clearly state. Get a grip management

We stopped for a week in March, hotel / bar / pool are all top standard. Staff helpful and friendly. We stayed in self catering apartment which was at the bottom of the hill. Advantage - straight on the strip 30 yards, negatives - walk up steep hill to get to bar and pool. Big problem being at bottom of hill is recycling centre across the road. Glass is emptied till early hours by bars and then they are emptied every morning at 7am….. slightly noisy……. Just pick room with care. Avoid 3209 / 3210 rooms.

Staff are just fabulous. This is now our fourth visit. Rooms are always spotless, even with my messy 4 year old son. Pool is great and the food is lovely. Would definitely recommend 100%

Wir sind das 2. Mal hier und haben über die Website des Hotels gebucht, weil wir im Vorjahr ganz begeistert waren und auch unser Wunschzimmer erhielten😊! Nun, ein Jahr später, klappte das nicht so gut, obwohl langfristig im Voraus gebucht und mehr Geld als im Vorjahr bezahlt!🤷‍♀️ … Im Moment ist das Hotel gerade bemüht, unseren Appartementwunsch doch noch zu erfüllen, mal sehen, ob es klappt? ! 👍: Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels konnten uns nach ein paar Tagen einen Umzug ermöglichen, was uns sehr erfreute. 👍: die schöne Lage und die sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeiter.
