My wife and I have just got back from a 4 night stay here. Its exceeded our expectations. The service from all of the staff was first class. We hardly even stepped out of our taxi and were greeting by David who had 2 glasses of sparkling wine waiting for us on arrival. We were even checked in to our room hours earlier than we should have been which was a big bonus. We had a small issue with noise in our room due to some kind of fan that backed on to the wall. The second I brought the issue up with the staff we were quickly moved rooms. The staff here honestly cannot do enough for you. Regarding getting around, I wouldn't really class this as being "out of the way" like some of the reviews point out. Its literally less than 5 minutes in a taxt to the local town and shipping mall. I noticed 1 review claiming the hotel is tired and in need of updating, which i honestly couldn't disagree with any more. The hotel is spotless and in my opinion luxurious. The entertainment in the evening is excellent. We particularly likes the Spanish band as did all the other guests who were scalping along to the music. We would 100% stay in this hotel again and would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious hotel stay.

I would generally not recommend visiting this hotel. You might be lucky, but if you are not - like us - they don’t really care about fixing it. We are staying in a room next to the service stairway, which means noise from cleaning and other staff from 07:00 in the morning. So no sleeping in, at all. They also have a small office there, with an airconditioner that makes a lot of noise. So no way to be at peace in the room between 09:00-18:30 because of the constant noise. After mentioning this to the staff, they offered us a change of room. That room had no working air conditioning and no water pressure, which we only found out after moving. Not a great experience, so we had to move back to our original room. No solution has been offered nor contact has been made since. It is not the end of the world, but obviously not the service and quality you expect from a 5 star Hyatt property. Then the service in the bar: non existant. Slow and rude service. In general the cleaning staff and staff in the spa/gym are nice, the rest is not well enough trained. As mentioned by others, food prices are ridiculous and quality is average. There are a lot of good restaurants in the area, though. The pool area is alright, but if you don’t put a towel on a sunbed in the morning, you won’t have one. The “towels are removed after 15 min policy” is not enforced, which makes it a very bad experience overall. If you want to be guaranteed of a relaxing holiday, choose a different hotel. You might be lucky here, but more likely than not, won’t be.

Buena estancia, pero la restauración temática tiene mucho margen de mejora. Nuestra experiencia general en el resort ha sido muy buena. El hotel es precioso, las instalaciones están muy cuidadas, la habitación impecable y la limpieza excelente. También queremos destacar el buffet, tanto en el desayuno como en la cena, que nos ha sorprendido para bien, con variedad y una calidad bastante buena. Sin embargo, nuestra experiencia en los restaurantes temáticos ha sido bastante decepcionante, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que estamos hablando de un resort de cinco estrellas. En el restaurante italiano, la pizza llegó cruda por arriba. Se lo comentamos al camarero y, en lugar de una disculpa o de intentar buscar una solución, simplemente retiraron el plato indicándonos que estaba todo correcto. Creo que una situación así no debería gestionarse de esa manera en un establecimiento de esta categoría. Al menos esperábamos una disculpa y un mínimo interés por solucionar el problema. En la comida de hoy, nuestra última comida en el resort antes de finalizar nuestra estancia, pedimos una paella de marisco para dos personas, con suplemento a pesar de tener el régimen de todo incluido. El arroz llegó muy, muy crudo. Lo comunicamos y nos lo volvieron a sacar, pero esta vez estaba seco y excesivamente salado, hasta el punto de resultar prácticamente incomible. Probamos un poco para no dejar el plato entero, pero realmente no pudimos disfrutarlo. Además, en el restaurante Olio, el solomillo de mi pareja, que había pedido al punto menos, llegó muy hecho. Entendemos perfectamente que un error en cocina puede ocurrir, pero cuando se repiten incidencias en diferentes restaurantes y, además, la respuesta ante ellas no es la que esperas de un establecimiento de cinco estrellas, la experiencia termina decepcionando. Nos vamos con una buena impresión del hotel en cuanto a instalaciones, limpieza, habitaciones y buffet, pero creemos sinceramente que la restauración temática es un aspecto que deberían revisar y mejorar considerablemente para estar a la altura de la categoría del resort.

⭐ 1 star Really disappointed with our first impression of this 5-star hotel. We specifically booked a Deluxe Junior Suite with Balcony/Terrace and Garden View, but were allocated room 156, where the balcony outlook is essentially a wall rather than anything I would reasonably describe as a garden view. The room itself is very nice, and the lady on reception was helpful and did try to move us, but unfortunately nothing else was available. We have now been told to ask again in the morning in case another room becomes free. That means we now have to unpack tonight, then potentially pack everything up again tomorrow and move rooms — not how we expected to start our holiday. I appreciate that not every room can have the best outlook, but if certain rooms have such a severely restricted view, I really think they should be advertised as “restricted view” or “limited garden view”, rather than simply “garden view”. For a 5-star hotel, and having specifically chosen a room based partly on the advertised view, this is extremely disappointing. Hopefully the hotel can resolve it tomorrow, in which case I’ll be very happy to update this review.

Unforgettable stay! The breakfast was great with plenty of choice. There was truly something for everyone. Housekeeping stopped by up to three times a day, even for a lovely turn-down service in the evening. Our housekeeper was so sweet and kept leaving chocolates for us. A special thank you to Alba! ❤️ Getting around was easy; a taxi to Corralejo cost about €5. There were always plenty of sunbeds available by the pool, and the view from our sea-view room was absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for taking such great care of us. Our holiday was truly unforgettable!
