I came to this hotel May 2025 with my Dad for a 7 day holiday and had a blast. This year i returned for 10days with my partner and had an amazing time. I was remembered by a few of the staff immediately, and even though my room on file wasnt one that i chose, the front desk were happy to rectify this and provided an amazing room with sea view and larger balcony. The food is lovely and we had lunch most days around the pool. I would like to also thank the head barman Oscar, Tommy and the rest of the staff for making us feel so welcome and looking after us throughout our holiday.

Das Hotel Grecian sands ist eine top Adresse auf Zypern. Es stimmte Alles vom Zimmer, Sauberkeit, Frühstück inkl. Dinner war wirklich alles schmackhaft. Service lässt sich wirklich sehen, man könnte Grecien Sands Hotel sogar 5 Sterne geben. Ich weiß genau wovon ich spreche. Sehr empfehlenswert. Raphael Loew aus Hagen

Je suis venu avec mon mari. Les mauvais points : - Les gens mettent leur serviette à 23h ou 4h matin sur les transats. Aberrant ! On se croirait en Tunisie ! - Un peu bruyant, les gosses ou les jeunes qui foutent le bordel dans les piscines et les lifesguard ne font pas vraiment leur travail là dessus et quand on leur dit, ils le font trop gentiment, ça fait même pas peur à un chat. - Au niveau de la restauration, si on pouvait eviter de mettre de la sauce balsamique partout svp . Certains n’aiment pas ou sont allergique . Du coup je n’ai mangé aucune salades, il y en avait même sur le poulet ! Arretez avec ça !! - La plage est pas tres loin mais pas pratique à y aller avec les longues marches d’escalier ! - Il manque un peu d’animation ou d’occupation Bon maintenant les bons points : - Tres bel hotel, ascenseur bien pratique. - Piscine exterieur et petite piscine interieur - Nourriture excellente et diversifiée (à part pour le petit dejeuner) - Service : Bien pro, poli et souriant, Mention spécial á Andreas un des responsable notre coup de cœur qui est d’un professionnalisme et d’une gentillesse extraordinaire. J’ai oublié les prénoms mais merci beaucoup aussi á Lubvoy je sais plus exactement comment on prononce son prénom pardon :( ainsi que Tomy, Sherif, Raphaella qui est adorable et la chanteuse Ilona tres souriante et une voix sublime. - Rooftop avec tres belle vue et le personnel là haut tres acceuillant aussi Malgré quelques defauts, je peux pas conclure sans mettre neanmoins un 5 etoiles. Je recommande quand même avec quelques petits point á revoir sinon top.

1 von 5 Sternen – Leider eine grosse Enttäuschung Ich würde das Grecian Sands Hotel definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen. Ich kann die vielen positiven Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Vor Ort sieht die Realität ganz anders aus als auf den Bildern und den Bewertungen. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag genau dasselbe – eine kleine Auswahl und sehr langweilig. Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Auch an Unterhaltung fehlt es komplett. Es gibt keine Musik, keine Animation und keine Atmosphäre. Der Strand war ungepflegt, voller Gras und wurde während unseres Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Ausserdem gehören die Liegen am Strand nicht zum Hotel. Das ist in der Hotelbeschreibung nicht klar ersichtlich und sollte transparenter kommuniziert werden. Das Abendessen im Hotel kostet 25 Euro pro Person. Leider war das Essen teilweise kalt. Nach einem Abendessen im Hotel wurde unser Sohn krank und musste in die Notaufnahme. Ob das Essen die Ursache war, können wir zwar nicht mit Sicherheit sagen, dennoch war das für uns ein sehr belastendes Erlebnis. Generell ist in Ayia Napa vieles sehr teuer. Für Familien mit Kindern würde ich dieses Hotel keinesfalls empfehlen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt aus meiner Sicht überhaupt nicht. Meiner Meinung nach verdient dieses Hotel höchstens 70 % und nicht die rund 95 %, mit denen es aktuell bewertet wird. Ein weiterer negativer Punkt sind die extrem hellhörigen Zimmer. Man hört praktisch alles aus den Nachbarzimmern, wodurch an einen erholsamen Schlaf kaum zu denken ist. Wir haben unseren Urlaub deshalb vorzeitig abgebrochen und sind auf eigene Kosten nach Hause gereist. Auch von TUI waren wir sehr enttäuscht. In unserer Situation wurde uns überhaupt nicht geholfen und man ist uns in keiner Weise entgegengekommen. Unser Fazit: Die hervorragenden Bewertungen entsprechen unserer persönlichen Erfahrung überhaupt nicht. Wer einen entspannten Familienurlaub mit gutem Service und einem fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sucht, sollte sich nach einer anderen Unterkunft umsehen.

Ich kann mich vielen Vorrednern nur anschließen. Wir waren jetzt Anfang Juli 26 für 6 Nächte im Hotel für einen Familienurlaub. Das Personal freundlich und super kompetent. Die Zimmer tadellos. Es gibt eigentlich nichts auszusetzen. Die Lage sowieso ein Traum... Vielleicht zu erwähnen ist, dass man irgendwie nicht das Gefühl hatte so typisch in einer Touristen Hochburg eingequetscht zu sein. Es war alles sehr entspannt und viel Freiraum. Wahrscheinlich kommen wir wieder....

My vacation at Grecian Sands has just come to an end, and I can honestly say this was the first time I truly didn’t want to leave a hotel. Everything about Grecian Sands is wonderful. From the very first moment we arrived, the check-in experience was excellent thanks to the incredibly friendly and welcoming reception staff. The young man who helped us with our luggage was absolutely delightful. He professionally showed us around the room, explained how everything worked, and made us feel comfortable from the start. The food deserves a special mention—it was simply outstanding. Every meal was delicious, and I enjoyed every single dish. Another thing that made our stay so special was the restaurant staff. They were genuinely kind, warm, and attentive, creating such a pleasant atmosphere every day. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We stayed on the fourth floor with a lovely view. Although it overlooked another hotel, it was still a very nice view. Housekeeping was excellent—everything was always spotless, tidy, and cleaned on time. I am beyond happy with my holiday. Words cannot fully express how much I enjoyed my stay. I already miss this place and sincerely hope to come back again. Thank you to the entire Grecian Sands team for making our vacation so memorable and unforgettable. You truly made us feel at home. ❤️
