We recently had a fantastic stay at Sunrise Beach Hotel in Protaras and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, nothing was ever too much & all the staff seemed genuinely interested. One of the standout aspects of the hotel was the exceptional cleanliness throughout - everything was spotless and clearly very well maintained. The food quality was also excellent, with a great variety of options and consistently high standards at every meal. A special mention must go to Justine at the Othello Bar, who was always bright and cheery. Her warm, smiley “Good Morning” made such a positive start to each day, and she always took the time to chat and show genuine interest, which we really appreciated - a real credit to the team. We’d also like to highlight Yash at the adults-only pool bar, who provided fantastic service throughout our stay. He was always friendly, chatty, and attentive. In the evenings, the Othello Bar team were equally impressive, always welcoming and happy to recommend and create great drinks. Their friendly attitude added to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere every night. The hotel’s facilities are outstanding, and the location is perfect - everything you could want is right on your doorstep. We ate at both Marcello’s & Lemongrass restaurants that are part of the hotel group & both were absolutely outstanding with fantastic service - Both Maria’s at Marcello’s were so friendly & welcoming. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend Sunrise Beach Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality holiday experience. We will definitely be returning! Jordan & Craig.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel and would consider coming back. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is excellent—close to both the beach and the city center. The view from the hotel is beautiful and definitely one of the highlights. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a good mattress, soft towels, bathrobes, and a coffee machine. The bathroom was spacious and modern. The hotel offers great facilities—you can relax without leaving the property. The spa was amazing, and the pools were well maintained without a strong chlorine smell. There are also small shops on-site where you can buy everything you need for a beach holiday, which is very convenient. Breakfast was good, with a decent variety of options, although it would be nice to have more fresh vegetables and salads. There were a few downsides. The sound insulation between rooms could be better, as we sometimes heard noise from neighbors. Also, the sockets are not European, and the hotel didn’t provide adapters at reception, so we had to buy one ourselves. It would be helpful if guests were informed about this during check-in. Another thing to keep in mind is that sunbeds and umbrellas should be reserved upon arrival if their location is important to you. It would also be helpful if the hotel informed guests about this at check-in. Overall, a very good stay with a few minor inconveniences. Good value for money.

Wunderbar. Herrlich. Es ist DAS Hotel mit der besten Strandlage in Protaras. Der Service im Restaurant ist unfassbar gut und freundlich. Liegt aber sicher an Ihrem Gruppenleiter (älterer Herr), der von morgens bis abends im Restauraunt anwesend ist. Der Herr hat seine Leute echt im Griff. Das Essen ist fantastisch. Jeden Abend wechselndes Themenbuffet. Die Cocktails sind gut gemischt und günstig. Wir waren dort in 2022 und 2026 und werden definitiv wieder dort Urlaub machen.

Sehr schönes Hotel in super zentraler Lage direkt am Strand mit einer tollen Promenade in beide Richtungen. Die Standardzimmer sind sehr gut, ebenso Bar, Lobby und Poolanlagen. Besonders positiv ist der separate Poolbereich nur für Erwachsene. Hallenbad und Fitnessbereich sind gut ausgestattet, und die WCs im gesamten öffentlichen Bereich sind stets sauber. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend. Der Speiseraum ist recht groß und bei voller Auslastung etwas lauter. Die internationale Küche ist geschmacklich gut und bietet eine sehr große Auswahl. Es gibt immer Kartoffeln, Pommes, Nudeln und Reis sowie Fleisch, Fisch und Geflügel in vielen Variationen. Ergänzt wird das Angebot durch ein großes Salatbuffet, Obst, Eis und zahlreiche Süßspeisen. Die Getränkepreise liegen im gehobenen Bereich, werden jedoch zügig aufgenommen und schnell serviert. Die Kellner sind teilweise sehr schnell beim Abräumen von Tellern und Besteck – daher empfiehlt es sich, dass immer eine Person am Tisch bleibt, da sonst bei der Rückkehr bereits alles abgeräumt sein kann. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel und sehr zu empfehlen.

Great beachside hotel! Can’t ask for anything better. Hotel is situated right on the water which is clear and calm most time, a few waves occur in the afternoons when the boats are being used. Beach chairs are reserved for each hotel guest for the entire length of your stay, so there’s no fighting over chairs in the morning which is perfect. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and speak multiple languages, including German English and Greek. I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager and this is the one location that I would repeat time and again. Head Chef Jackis Was doing a phenomenal job. The variation and quality of food at the buffet is exceptional. You can’t ask for more the beachside location of the hotel, the Beautiful sand and easy access to the clean water make this a wonderful adult, friendly and kid friendly location. I must try and I will be coming back again in a year.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The hotel is absolutely stunning, spotlessly clean, and the views are breathtaking. The location couldn’t be any better – right on the beach and on the strip, so everything you need is just a short walk away. The air conditioning was excellent, which made a huge difference in the heat. The pool area was beautiful, always kept clean, and had a lovely atmosphere. Every single member of staff was friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. They really made our stay special. Breakfast was incredible, with so much choice every morning that there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was excellent too. The only slight negative was the sunbed reservation system, which unfortunately didn’t seem to work very well, as people were still reserving sunbeds early. Other than that, I genuinely couldn’t fault this hotel. I would 100% recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning. It truly was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed.
