Leider können wir die ganzen positiven Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen. Wegen diesen haben wir leider auch dieses Hotel gebucht. Zimmer: Wir hatten ein DZ mit Privatpool. Der Privatpool war jedoch kaum mehr als eine Pfütze, wo man nur stehen und sich kaum bewegen geschweige denn schwimmen konnte. Zum Planschen für kleine Kinder okay. Ansonsten war das Zimmer zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Badezimmtüre ließ sich nur mit Kraft und Quitschen schließen, da sie klemmte.Die Klimaanlage war in der Temperatur nicht regelbar immer eiskalt und die Terasse besaß auch keinen Sonnenschutz. Somit Mittgas nicht nutzbar. Service: Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption und im Restaurant waren sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht. Die Zimmerreinigung hatte jedoch nicht jeden Tag funktioniert. Zudem wurde auch der Außenbereich am Pool gar nicht gereinigt. Zudem gab es dort eine Ameisenstraße, also hatten wir auch Haustiere. Standort: Zum Standort bleibt leider nichts Gutes zu sagen. Außerhalb der Hotelanlage finden sich Urwald und heruntergekommene Häuser und Müll an jeder Ecke. Es ist von morgens bis abends so schwül heiß, zudem aufgrund der Zirkaden so laut, dass man sich draußen mit normaler Lautstärke kaum unterhalten konnte. Wir hatten den kostenlosen Shuttle Service nach Korfu Stadt genommen, um einige Sehenswürdigkeiten anzusehen, die sehr schön waren. Ein Shutte Service bei den Temperaturen ohne Klimaanlage ist jedoch eine Frechheit und grenzte an Körperverletzung. In Summe ist das Hotel mit Umgebung maximal eine 4 Sterne Klasse. Leider war der Urlaub auch seh teuer, was in keinem Verhältnis stand.

Kontokali Bay Resort enjoys one of the best locations in Corfu, with direct beach access, beautiful sea views, and convenient proximity to Corfu Town. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. That said, the property feels somewhat dated, particularly the rooms, which could benefit from refurbishment and modernization. Some facilities also felt out of touch with current luxury resort standards, especially the gym, which was quite limited and featured only one standard treadmill. While the resort may still be considered luxurious by some European standards, international travelers accustomed to more contemporary luxury offerings may find certain aspects of the property in need of updating. Overall, while the location and warm hospitality were definite highlights, the resort would greatly benefit from updates to its rooms and facilities to match the expectations of today’s travelers.

We stayed here for four nights three days, which was enough time for this hotel. Location is beautiful, surrounding areas are very picturesque and everywhere is kept tidy and clean. Staff were all accommodating and friendly. We had a garden view room which was lovely, two twin beds pushed together but this was enough room for me and my partner, comfy beds aswell. Beach beds are always available but we are at the beginning of the season so I'm not sure what this would be like during peak season. Fresh towels were available each day but they do leave a kind note in the room asking to resue your towels as much as possible as a kind gesture to the planet which is what we did. You can order straight to your sun bed on the beach which was handy and a nice touch to their service. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great, lots of options to choose from. Evening food we felt there could have been some more options available, one night we opted to pay for the evening buffet which was €40 a head, I would understand maybe €20 a head but not €40. For what the evening buffet offered we felt it didn't compare to the breakfast one but we still enjoyed what we picked out to eat but after this we mostly stuck to the room service menu, which is also the same menu available as one of their other restaurants on site. Again it would be beneficial to have a separate menu in your restaurant different to your room service menu but nevertheless we had enjoyed our meals. In the morning there is a shuttle bus to take you into the old town close by and it brings you back for around 1:30pm, that's the only one they do so if you'd want the venutre out at a different time it will cost around €25 each way. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing and would visit again. Thank you 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Kontokali Bay Resort & Spa and would definitely recommend it. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained, with everything kept to a really high standard. The breakfast was lovely, with so many options to choose from each morning — there was definitely something for everyone. The staff were one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone we came across was so friendly, polite and helpful, which really added to the experience. We also used the hotel’s shuttle service into Corfu Old Town twice, which was fantastic and made getting into town so easy. While we were at the hotel, we only ate at Parea, but the food and service there were both excellent. One thing I particularly liked about the hotel was that there seemed to be more seating and loungers than guests. You didn't have that feeling of needing to get up at the crack of dawn to put your towel down on a lounger, especially on the beach, which made the whole experience much more relaxing. The only negatives for me were that our room was a little on the small side, and I felt the spa could do with some updating. It has so much potential, as the setting is lovely, and I did have a really nice treatment there despite this. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at Kontokali Bay. It’s a beautiful, relaxing hotel with lovely staff, great facilities and a wonderful atmosphere. I would happily stay here again.
