We have just returned from our third stay at Minos Beach Art Hotel, and that alone probably says everything. We simply cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Traveling with two young children, finding a place that combines luxury, relaxation, and genuine family-friendliness is not easy—but Minos Beach Art Hotel does exactly that. From the moment we arrive, the staff make us feel welcome and cared for. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail are truly exceptional and one of the main reasons we keep coming back. The setting is stunning. The water is absolutely pristine—crystal clear, calm, and perfect for swimming. Waking up to the beautiful sea views and spending days by the waterfront never gets old. The food is another highlight. The quality, variety, and freshness are consistently outstanding, whether at breakfast or dinner. Even with young children, dining is always enjoyable and stress-free. What makes this hotel special is how effortlessly it balances a peaceful, upscale atmosphere with being genuinely accommodating to families. Our children love it here, and so do we. After three visits, Minos Beach Art Hotel continues to exceed our expectations. We are already looking forward to returning again.

Das Hotel und die Anlage sind sehr schön angelegt und bepflanzt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist wirklich toll und reichhaltig, an der Bar werden gute und hochwertige Cocktails serviert. Leider gibt es für diese Preiskategorie einige Mängel bzw. Verbesserungspotential: Vor unserem Bungalow lagen Zigarettenkippen bei der Ankunft, auf der gesamten Anlage fand sich immer wieder Müll am Boden, am Hinterausgang lag Sperrmüll, der Kühlschrank im Zimmer kühlte nicht gut, im Waterfront Bungalow gibt es keine Fenster, nur die Eingangstüre zum Lüften wobei die Privatsphäre leidet, das Zimmer fühlt sich nicht nach fünf Sterne an, Liegen wurden leider von anderen Gästen reserviert, die Aussicht auf die Häuserfront des Orts ist nicht schön, defekte und verschmutzte Liegen am Strand…. Preis-Leistung aus unserer Sicht nicht gegeben, da müsste mehr kommen für die Preise.

A True Gem – Refined, Artistic, and Incredibly Welcoming We had the pleasure of staying 10 nights at the Minos Beach Art Hotel with my wife and our 7-month-old daughter, and it was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had in a luxury hotel. From the very first moment, we were struck by the beauty of the surroundings. The hotel is more than just a place to stay – it’s a true piece of art. The architecture blends perfectly with the lush vegetation and the centuries-old trees, creating a feeling of harmony and timeless elegance. The food was simply exceptional – without a doubt the best culinary experience we’ve ever had in a 5-star hotel. Every dish was a perfect balance of flavor, creativity, and freshness. We genuinely looked forward to every meal. The staff was incredibly professional and attentive. Whether at the restaurant, the reception, or housekeeping, every team member made us feel welcome and genuinely cared for, especially considering we were traveling with our baby. Our bungalow was spacious, beautifully designed, and tastefully decorated, offering both comfort and style. For our last two nights, we were fortunate to experience one of the villas with a private pool – an unforgettable highlight that added even more magic to our stay. Minos Beach Art Hotel is a rare place where art, nature, luxury, and hospitality come together seamlessly. We left with full hearts, rested minds, and the deep desire to return as soon as we can.

Minos Beach Art Hotel is one of those rare places where everything just works. The service is impeccable, the rooms are clean and beautifully built (you can feel the solidity the moment you close a door), and the staff carries an attentive warmth you cannot fake. Everyone smiles. Everyone notices. Everyone seems genuinely happy to be there. They all remembered our names and called us by our names from first days. The food, spread across the five restaurants on the property, is its own quiet masterpiece. Breakfast alone is an event: varied, fresh, generous, and consistently healthy in the way only the Mediterranean knows how to be. You can eat well without guilt, which is rarer than it sounds. Now, a small medical detail. I am a doctor, and I track my health closely with wearables. What surprised me most about Creta and Minos was this: despite eating plenty during my stay, the food here, rich in olive oil, whole grains, and uncomplicated Mediterranean fare, brought my AGEs index down significantly. AGEs (Advanced Glycation End-products) are a biological marker linked to aging and metabolic stress and it is measured by my watch. Mine had stubbornly resisted every lifestyle adjustment I had tried at home. A week here moved a needle that nothing else had managed to budge. ( at 400 constantly at home, drop to 380 in 7 days in Creta/Minos) For me, Minos Beach Art Hotel is closer to a treatment. For the body, for the mind, for the part of you that needs both rest and recalibration. I will be back.

Η διαμονή μας στο Minos Beach Art Hotel ήταν μία από τις πιο όμορφες εμπειρίες που έχουμε ζήσει. Από τη στιγμή που φτάσαμε, νιώσαμε μια μοναδική αίσθηση ηρεμίας και φιλοξενίας. Το τοπίο είναι μαγευτικό, με απίστευτη αισθητική που συνδυάζει την πολυτέλεια με την απλότητα και τη φυσική ομορφιά της Κρήτης. Τα δωμάτια ήταν προσεγμένα μέχρι την τελευταία λεπτομέρεια, πεντακάθαρα και γεμάτα άνεση. Οι χώροι του ξενοδοχείου αποπνέουν ποιότητα και γαλήνη, ενώ το προσωπικό ήταν πραγματικά εξαιρετικό — πάντα ευγενικό, χαμογελαστό και πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστήκαμε. Αυτό που κάνει όμως το μέρος πραγματικά μοναδικό είναι η ατμόσφαιρα που δημιουργεί. Δεν νιώθεις απλώς ότι μένεις σε ένα όμορφο ξενοδοχείο· νιώθεις ότι βρίσκεσαι σε έναν χώρο που έχει ψυχή. Είναι από εκείνα τα μέρη που σε κάνουν να χαλαρώνεις πραγματικά και να θέλεις να επιστρέψεις ξανά. Ευχαριστούμε για τις υπέροχες στιγμές και τη μοναδική εμπειρία. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον αναζητά ποιοτικές και ξεχωριστές διακοπές.

My wife and I spent three nights at Minos—couldn’t have been a better stay. The resort grounds are beautiful, friendly service, great food, and comfortable room. The daily breakfast was 10/10. We enjoyed lunch at the hotel daily, then also joined for dinner one evening. All very good. A perfect trip.
