⭐☆☆☆☆ I had booked 3 nights to stay at the beginning of June but decided to leave after the first night. Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and did not meet even basic expectations. The customer service was poor from the beginning. Many staff members came across as rude, unfriendly, and uninterested in helping guests. One example is when my family went to the pool and pool towels were finished. I was told by the staff member by the pool to use my towels in the room and that I could request other towels to housekeepers. When I requested clean towels, the housekeeper (who was on his phone watching videos in another room , rather than cleaning) scolded me , saying that “room towels are not to be used at the pool!!” Rather than feeling welcomed, we often felt like an inconvenience whenever we asked for assistance. The rooms were very old, poorly maintained, and noticeably dirty. Housekeeping standards were far below what we expected, with cleaning appearing rushed. I work in 2 hotels and the service offered here is unacceptable. This hotel is not up to IHG standards. The overall condition of the property gave the impression that maintenance and cleanliness are not priorities. The food was also disappointing and did not live up to the standard advertised by the hotel. Breakfast should be ready at 6:30 and at 7 the buffet was still not ready. When we asked for serving tongs at 7:10, the waitstaff huffed and seamed irritated with our basic request. In addition, we experienced several uncomfortable interactions while ordering meals. On multiple occasions, the chef appeared to ignore our eggs orders. Whether intentional or not, this created a very negative impression and made us feel disrespected. Overall, this hotel fell well short of expectations in terms of service, cleanliness, maintenance, and dining quality. We would not choose to stay here again and hope management takes guest feedback seriously to address these issues.

Very disappointing stay at Crowne Plaza Deira and unfortunately not what we expected from the Crowne Plaza / IHG standard. The first room we were given had a very congested bathroom layout with barely enough space between the toilet and washbasin, making it uncomfortable to use. What was frustrating was that the room did not match the impression created by the photos shown online. The images gave an expectation of a much better room experience, and this was disappointing from the moment we checked in. We requested a room change, and although another room was provided, the experience did not improve much. The replacement room had visible maintenance issues, including damaged finishing around the bathtub, the shower knob had come off, and there were other signs that the washroom was not being maintained to the standard we expected. What disappointed us even more was the service. While phone communication was okay at times, there were also instances where we called reception for assistance and the interaction felt abrupt and unprofessional, including a call being ended unexpectedly without properly addressing our concern. Our interaction at reception in person also felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Instead of feeling like our concerns were understood, we were left feeling as though we were being treated as difficult for raising genuine issues. Breakfast was another letdown, limited variety and underwhelming quality to the point that we skipped it the next day. Overall, this stay did not reflect the level of hospitality, service, and attention to detail we associate with Crowne Plaza. We chose this hotel expecting a certain standard and left feeling genuinely disappointed.

I had a fantastic dining experience. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Every dish was flavorful, well-presented, and exceeded my expectations. A special thanks to Jinky, Harvey, and Angelica for providing exceptional service. They were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. Their professionalism, positive attitude, and willingness to assist made us feel welcome and well taken care of. They consistently checked on our table and ensured everything was perfect. Their excellent customer service, combined with the amazing food, made this a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back again. Thank you, Jinky, Harvey, and Angelica, for making our visit memorable!

Saturday Brunch @ Spice Island Restuarant! Had an absolutely amazing brunch experience! 🌸✨ The ambience was fantastic, the food variety was excellent with so many delicious options, and everything was offered at very economical prices which made the experience even better. The live singer truly made us feel special and added such a wonderful vibe to the afternoon. 🎶💃🏻 A very special thank you to Angela, Harvey, and Zin for their exceptional hospitality and service throughout. Your warm welcome and attention to detail made our Zumba Ladies Meet Up extra memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a lively, enjoyable, and value-for-money brunch experience! 🥂💕

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. Firstly, the rooms had an unpleasant smell, which made it uncomfortable from the moment we entered. For a hotel of this standard, basic room freshness should not be an issue. Secondly, the breakfast experience was extremely poor. The food did not seem fresh, and there were virtually no options for vegetarians. Even after specifically requesting assistance from the staff, no proper alternatives were provided. What was even more disappointing was that when we approached another staff member, we were offered leftover food from a previous night’s function, which is completely unacceptable. The juices also did not taste fresh, and overall, the breakfast spread was very limited. Considering the reputation of the hotel, I genuinely believe even a 3-star property would have delivered a better experience. Lastly, there was a clear lack of courtesy and professionalism among the staff. We raised our concerns with the receptionist, but there was no response or effort to resolve the issue. It felt like our feedback was simply ignored, which added to the frustration. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations at all, especially given the brand name.

We recently hosted my daughter’s wedding reception on April 9th at Crowne Plaza Deira, and I can recommend this venue highly enough! From the very beginning, the entire team made everything absolutely magical. The setup was stunning, the coordination, ambience and timing were flawless, and the food was exceptional — every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding from start to finish: the staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and professional. The hotel itself was spotless, and the event flowed so effortlessly that we could truly relax and enjoy every precious moment with our family and close friends. A special heartfelt thank you to Sundeep Nellore, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfectly in place. He was available at the venue from the start and stayed until the hosting was completely done, making sure his team was supportive and attentive throughout the entire day. We also want to give a huge shout-out to Prakash, Archa, and Shireen for their wonderful dedication and warm support during the celebration. If you're planning a wedding in Dubai, Crowne Plaza Deira is an excellent choice. Their experienced and caring team truly knows how to create a memorable and stress-free experience.
