Unfortunately, my experience at the Royal Apollonia was quite disappointing, especially when it came to the food and service. Both the breakfast and dinner I had were very dry, bland, and lacking in flavour. Although the food looked nicely presented, the taste was extremely underwhelming and felt more focused on appearance than quality. I stayed here a couple of years ago as well, and unfortunately, it feels like very little has changed since then. One of the dinners was also quite uncomfortable. I repeatedly noticed members of the waiting staff looking at me while talking amongst themselves, including two staff members who were openly looking at me while speaking to each other. I cannot say what they were discussing, but it made me feel like I was being talked about and was very uncomfortable, especially while having dinner with my family. There was a situation that was eventually resolved, and I appreciate that it was sorted out. However, afterwards I still felt that I wasn't being treated like a normal guest. There were very few people dining at the time, yet my table was left with used tissues for around 10 minutes, and we weren't regularly checked on for things like water or clearing our plates. Another small issue was the bathroom. The toilet door does not properly lock, which I found strange and inconvenient. Overall, while the hotel itself is presentable, the food and service left me very disappointed. Considering I had stayed here before, I expected to see some improvements. Unfortunately, I would not be in a hurry to return.

המלון הוא 4 כוכבים ולא ברור למה הוא מוגדר כמלון 5 כוכבים. אתחיל בדברים הטובים: ניקיון מופתי גם בחדרים וגם בשטחים הציבוריים. בריכה ענקית וטובה מאוד. האוכל מגוון. יש להם ארוחות ערב לפי נושא: ים תיכוני, איטלקי וכו'- ארוחות עשירות וכל אחד יכול למצוא מנות לטעמו. הצוות אדיב מאוד, שירותי והכל בחביבות. מה שפחות טוב: מסכי הטלויזיות קטנים. יש רק 2 ערוצים באנגלית. הטלוויזיות לא חכמות אז אין נטפליקס או אפשרות לשקף את הנייד. ב2026 הייתם מצפים למדיה יותר מתוחכמת. בנוסף: אולי זה ישמע קטנוני אבל המזרונים על מיטות השיזוף סביב הבריכה רכים מדי, שוקעים בהם ואז קשה לקום. עושה כאבי גב. דווקא המזרונים על המיטות בחוף טובים הרבה יותר. המבנה נראה מעט מיושן וכך גם העיצוב של החדרים. כך שלכן כתבתי שהמלון הוא 4 כוכבים. ראיתי שציינו שהוא מרוחק מהמרכז - אז דווקא כאן חשוב לי לציין שכל המלונות שיש בהם בריכה גדולה וגישה לחוף פרטי לא נמצאים במרכז. זה קשור למבנה של העיר. רכב שכור בהחלט עושה את העבודה - או מונית למי שלא רוצה לנהיגה בצד שמאל. סה"כ חוויה נחמדה מאוד.

Excellent service and staff We had such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday at Royal Apollonia. The hotel offers a perfect balance of comfort, quality, and hospitality. The staff were incredibly attentive and always greeted us with a smile, compliments to Costas and Maria from Mini-Bar, always assisting with a smile. We especially loved the rich breakfast buffet and the beautiful beachfront setting. Aura breakfast room veranda – amazing!. The rooms were, quiet, and very comfortable for a restful stay, try sea view rooms, spectacular view. Thank you to the whole team for the excellent service — we cannot wait to come back again.

Just got home from Christmas at the Royal Apollonia in Limosol and I have nothing but praise for the fantastic hotel and all the wonderful teams who looked after us and made our stay enjoyable. The rooms are a decent size, cleaned daily and loads of storage space. The main restaurant area for breakfast (lunch and evening meal), was clean, the team were genuinely nice, amazing and friendly (Zaki, Reda, the 2 girls, the lady on the front desk and the lovely chap who told us off for not having lunch but made us a pizza on our last lunchtime day there) and loads of choice. The evening meals as well, so much to choose from but the best thing was the chocolate mouse cakes, they were amazing. The team on the bar were also fantastic, remembering your room number, remembering your drinks order, also checking if we were OK and needed anything (Anusha and the lovely smiley chap - so sorry forgot his name). And finally the reception team and in particular, Muhammad, absolute pleasure. Very helpful, kind and just a lovely, smiley, friendly person. All in all, a brilliant hotel with brilliant people, this place is brilliant.

A very disappointing stay. Certainly not a five-star experience! Unfortunately, our stay at Royal Apollonia by Louis Hotels was far below our expectations. The hotel is extremely outdated. The rooms genuinely feel like they belong in the 1980s, and the overall condition of the property is nowhere near what I would expect from a five-star establishment. We even found brown cockroaches in our room, which was particularly unpleasant and completely unacceptable. The gym was another major disappointment, with rusty, grimy and poorly maintained equipment. The entire property desperately needs a serious renovation. We also experienced an unfortunate misunderstanding regarding our airport transfer. We ended up paying €140 through Booking.com and an additional €120 to the hotel for transportation. Looking back at our correspondence, I acknowledge that I may have misunderstood the transfer confirmation, so I do not want to place the entire responsibility on the hotel. Nevertheless, paying €260 for what should have been a straightforward arrangement certainly added to our frustration. On a positive note, I would genuinely like to acknowledge some of the wonderful staff members. Rafael and several other waiters were absolutely exceptional, professional, attentive and incredibly kind. The housekeeping team also deserves recognition, as our room was cleaned thoroughly throughout our stay. Unfortunately, these positive aspects cannot compensate for the overall condition of the property. Having experienced several luxury hotels, I find it extremely difficult to understand how Royal Apollonia is classified as a five-star hotel in its current state. A five-star experience should be reflected not only in the service but also in the facilities, maintenance, comfort and attention to detail. A deeply disappointing experience. Wonderful people working in a hotel that desperately needs to be brought up to the standards it claims to represent. I would certainly not return.

We spend there 5 nights and were very satisfied. Good breakfast especially omelettes, very nice staff attitude in reception and on the pool. I had a birthday during the stay and they made me very nice surprise!
