Coral Bay Beach Hotel, Coral Bay – Honest Review (10-night stay, All Inclusive) We have just returned from a 10-night all-inclusive stay at Coral Bay Beach Hotel as a family, and whilst we did have a nice holiday overall, unfortunately we wouldn’t return or recommend the hotel. The positives first: The buffet food was excellent with a great variety every day, and everything we tried was very tasty. The waiting staff throughout the hotel were attentive, friendly and always served with a smile. It was also lovely to see the chefs regularly walking around checking the food and speaking to guests. We stayed in a Family Suite Duplex, which was spacious, comfortable and ideal for a family. The air conditioning worked brilliantly, which was much appreciated in the summer heat. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day and were always friendly. Our two girls absolutely loved the kids’ club. The ladies working there were warm, enthusiastic and genuinely seemed to enjoy spending time with the children. The evening bar also had a lovely atmosphere and was a pleasant place to relax. Unfortunately, there were several disappointments that really affected our stay. The biggest issue by far was the smoking and vaping around the swimming pools, particularly the children’s pool. There is a huge ashtray overlooking the children’s pool, and every day people were smoking and vaping on their sunbeds around families with young children. To reach the children’s pool you often had to walk through cigarette smoke. We raised this with reception. The duty manager told us smoking was not permitted around the pool and assured us it would be dealt with. However, nothing changed. The following day, when we spoke to another member of reception staff, Kurana, she simply told us people could smoke anywhere in the hotel and walked away while we were still speaking. The large ashtray remained exactly where it was. We found this very disappointing and inconsistent. For us, this alone is enough reason not to return. The Wi-Fi was also extremely unreliable, constantly dropping in and out. Combined with very poor EE mobile signal in the area, staying connected was frustrating. The hotel advertises several restaurants, yet during peak summer season it was almost impossible to get a reservation. We stayed for 10 nights and only managed to eat in three of them despite being all-inclusive. The reservations process was disappointing, and the lady managing bookings was not particularly helpful or accommodating. The sunbed situation was another frustration. Unless towels were down by around 7:45 am, you had very little chance of finding beds later in the morning. Although the main pool is attractive, it simply isn’t large enough for the number of guests staying at the hotel, making it feel overcrowded. The choice of alcoholic drinks was also fairly limited, particularly wine and beer. The music played around the pool throughout the day was loud, repetitive dance music. If you’re hoping to relax by the pool with a book, this probably isn’t the place for you. The exterior of the hotel is also looking tired in places and would really benefit from repainting, particularly around the rear of the property. Overall, we don’t feel this is a genuine five-star hotel. In our opinion, it just about reaches a four-star standard. We genuinely did enjoy parts of our holiday, but by around the fifth night we felt ready to go home. It’s a real shame because many of the staff work incredibly hard and deserve recognition. However, the hotel’s unwillingness to properly address smoking around young children completely overshadowed the positives for us. It will also be interesting to see whether management responds to this review. Looking through previous reviews, they seem much more inclined to reply to positive feedback than constructive criticism.

We recently stayed at this hotel and left with very mixed feelings. On the positive side, the hotel grounds are massive and beautifully located right on the beachfront. The outdoor areas and the pool are very nice, well-kept, and enjoyable. We were also pleased with the food - there was a wide variety and plenty of options to choose from. The animation team did a great job as well, providing a different and entertaining program every single night. A special shout-out goes to the hardworking staff - the waiters, bartenders, and maids really do their best and work incredibly hard. Unfortunately, despite these positives, we would never return to this hotel. First of all, the property is in desperate need of a serious renovation. Inside the buildings, there is a strong smell of mold, and the place is literally crawling with cockroaches, which is unacceptable for any hotel. However, the biggest issue here is the management, which is absolutely substandard. On several occasions, we witnessed managers or supervisors (they have different uniforms) patronizing the staff right in front of the guests. It was highly unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch. Our worst experience, which completely ruined our vacation was that because of flight changes, we had to extend our stay by one night. We have never encountered such rude treatment anywhere else. The reception manager (I believe his name was Lefteris, or something similar) was extremely arrogant and literally shouted at us “that is about money” simply because we wanted to pay for an extra night. I am not sure if he failed to understand our request or just decided to mock us, but it was so frustrating that we actually walked away the first time because I got really angry. His colleague even ask us how we are with 2 children, when our room is for 2 adults and 1 child (we had to explain that we are traveling with our parents and our son is sleeping in the room of his grandparents, which they can easily check in their system). When we returned later while the manager was away, we were told by the staff that we couldn't pay for the extra night without his personal approval. I have never heard of a hotel reception where you cannot make a payment because a manager hasn't "approved" it. We had to go back and forth to the reception 6 or 7 times for something so simple, while most if the times this gentleman stood by, staring at us as if we had done something wrong. In the end, they forced us to move rooms for that final night. Instead of keeping us in the rooms that we paid for (they said us the room numbers), they moved us to an entirely different building. It took us about 5 to 10 minutes to drag our luggage through the lifts and hallways of the hotel. This whole ordeal caused us an immense amount of stress and completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our holiday. This is the first hotel where we have been shouted at by staff without even knowing what we did wrong. Since holiday is for positive vibes only, i cannot recommend this place with pure heart.

The hotel is beautiful, very clean, air conditioned and offers warm, attentive service and great food. There are a few restaurants in the hotel and it’s better to order a place in advance. The pool is large and there is also a private beach. The location is a bit far from Paphos city (around 20-25 minutes by car), but there is a bus station right next to the hotel. Also, there is a nice supermarket and an ice cream shop just across the road. The hotel is for family friendly but it’s also romantic and peaceful. The rooms are big and spotless, they are cleaned every day. We’ve truly had a great time. Highly recommended!

Jestem bardzo zadowolona z wyboru hotelu Coral Beach. Miałam całkiem spory pokój z bocznym widokiem na morze. Pokój był czysty, codziennie sprzątany. W pokoju było wszystko co potrzebne: czajnik, ekspres kapsułkowy, herbata, kawa w kapsułkach, cukier, szklanki, filiżanki, lodówka zaopatrzona w zimne napoje, suszarka do włosów, klimatyzacja. Jedzenie w restauracji bardzo dobre, urozmaicone. Każdego wieczoru była kuchnia innego rodzaju, np. włoska bbq. Do wyboru było kilka restauracji. każdy gość dostaje na własność szklaną, zakręcaną butelkę do której może wziąć wodę z dystrybutorów postawionych na terenie hotelu i basenu. Bardzo fajny basen, duży. Na terenie hotelu rozstawionych jest dużo leżaków i parasolek, zarówno na słońcu jak i w cieniu. Spokojnie można znaleźć miejsce, bez wcześniejszego zajmowania leżaków. Jedynym minusem jest plaża z brzydkim piaskiem, kamieniami i w dodatku brudna. Całe szczęściu zaraz obok była fajna piaszczysta plaża.

We had a wonderful stay! The service was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pools were lovely. The hotel is also very close to the beach, which was a big plus. The food was delicious, and overall, we really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended!

Zacznę od plusów. Ogólnie oceniam hotel pozytywnie. Jest czysto jedzenie bardzo dobre. Możliwość wyboru różnych restauracji przy wcześniejszym zapisie. Przemiła obsługa, uśmiechnięta i pomocną. Nie wyciąga rąk po napiwki choć oczywiście mile widziane. Mega barman w barze przy plaży o imieniu Nikolas. Robi najlepsze drinki😊 Pokoje schludne z uzupełnioną lodówka. Niestety lecąc z Grecos nie mieliśmy ładnych widoków z tarasu. Złe wrażenie zrobiło też na mnie przywitanie nie w lobby tylko w pomieszczeniu mało przyjemnym. Czułam się jak gorszy sort. Rezydentka Kasandra bardzo miła i pomocna. Wady, bo niestety są.... PLAŻA 😞. Tu wielkie rozczarowanie niestety. Jak zawsze chętniej spędzam czas na leżaku plażowy patrząc na plażę to tu się nie dało. Ilość mikroplastiku znajdująca się w zatoczce jest przerażająca. Nie było tam przyjemnie. "Deptak" od strony morza bardzo krótko i prowadzi koło stanowiska sportów wodnych, które jest bardzo zaniedbane. Był tam bałagan. Porozwalane pręty metalowe, stare grille, pełno śmierci🫣 Ogólnie polecam ten obiekt oczywiście przymykając oczy na pewne sprawy.
