Plain and simple this is not a 5-star luxury hotel as advertised. The concierge upon check in was pleasant and accommodating but further interaction with hotel staff was cold and dismissive when issues with our room were presented. The air conditioning was not working in our room when we arrived and the hotel common areas are humid and unpleasant. The TV in our room was setup to purposely not connect to the internet to use streaming services while an Airbnb we stayed at a fraction of the cost did so just fine. The room comes with a smart tablet device that does absolutely nothing (remove them from the room if they’re broken?). The “king” sized bed was two twins put together and was incredibly uncomfortable. The table on the balcony was falling apart and the bathroom in the room was outdated. Finally, this hotel will try to make money at every turn. For a 5-star hotel and the amount you pay, everything should be included in the price, including the spa pools. In the grand scheme of things, all of these issues are small but for the price you pay to stay here and the “5-star experience”- none of these issues should exist. Better to find somewhere else to stay.

A localização do hotel é muito boa e os acessos à praia também. No entanto, tinha expectativas mais altas para um hotel de 5 estrelas. Fiquei num quarto com vista para o resort e achei que as remodelações dos quartos deviam ir além de colocar papel de parede e de mobilia nova. A caixilharia devia ser substituida porque se ouve imenso barulho das palmeiras. Deviam informar das portas entre os quartos. Quando é família tudo bem, mas quando são desconhecidos não temos privacidade.. É estranho estar no quarto a ouvir os "vizinhos de quarto" a tomar banho ou a falar como se tivessem no nosso quarto. Tive também a infelicidade de encontrar uma barata na casa de banho do quarto. Já tinha visto nos comentários do booking que havia quem se queixasse de baratas nas villas e não esperava encontrar o mesmo nos quartos. Não é o que se espera encontrar num hotel de 5 estrelas.. A carpete nos corredores devia ser removida ou então devia ser limpa com mais regularidade. Está cheia de manchas e suja. Por último, deviam também ter atenção ao preço da água. 4,5€ por uma garrafa de 1.5L é demasiado.

The hotel backs onto the beach and has beautiful sea views. It has a lovely open reception area and we received a very warm welcome. We used the gym which is well equipped with weight machines, free weights and cardio machines. Its not a very large space and was quite warm - not sure if there was any air con. There was water and towels available. The pools are not very big - Round in shape and therefore not really for swimming. Lots of sun beds and parasols. Lovely selection for buffet breakfast, the restaurant gets very busy. The staff keep on top of clearing tables really well and keep glasses topped up with water. Located out of the town, but easy walking distance - maybe 10 mins, quite hilly. Overall, recommended as a hotel.

Encontro-me neste momento hospedada no hotel: demorei cerca de 2h para jantar no bar do hotel, o pedido veio errado 2x, os meus filhos demoraram as mesmas 2h para jantar (2 e 4 anos). As vilas não renovadas são muito más, incompreensível para um hotel de 5 estrelas. Deixo exemplos do que tenho no quarto de momento: parede a cair e torradeira impossível de usar dada a sujidade e estar partida. Já tivemos também formigas no quarto, a luz exterior e tv da sala não funcionava. Não voltaremos.

I booked a stay here on a whim for myself and two children, and wow!!! It totally surpassed my expectations in every way. It’s even lovelier than it appears on the website, the food is great quality and value for a hotel, especially the breakfast. The staff throughout is friendly and helpful. Everything is super clean. I had two very minor issues and they were quickly resolved with a smile, to my total satisfaction. I can’t stop raving about this place and hope to return later this summer. Thanks for the fun memories!

Loved this resort. Right on the beach and next to the fun town of Albufeira. Diogo checked us in and gave us an upgrade and the rest of the staff was equally welcoming. The villas were spacious, comfortable and clean and provided free access to the wonderful spa. The beach below was beautiful. Everything about our stay was perfect.
