Um autêntico paraíso para quem procura tranquilidade a poucos minutos de Lisboa! ♥️ Adorámos o nosso quarto: espaçoso, decoração linda, uma mini cozinha equipada e uma varanda com uma vista maravilhosa! A piscina exterior infinita, com vista para o Tejo e a 20 graus, é das mais bonitas onde já estivemos e ao final do dia fica ainda com uma luz única e especial. Fizemos uma massagem relaxante (de 30 minutos) e foi, provavelmente, a melhor massagem que já fizemos. No final, ainda tínhamos um chá e uns bolinhos de canela à nossa espera 🥹 Destaque também para o espaço do SPA: piscina interior enorme aquecida com jacuzzi, sauna, banho turco e duches sensoriais. O facto de estar aberto 24h permite-nos usufruir em horários mais tranquilos. Uma nota também para o restaurante do resort, o Omaggio, com comida italiana de muita qualidade e um atendimento exímio! Um detalhe muito querido: no check-out entregaram umas bolachinhas para a nossa viagem de regresso a casa. Resumindo: o Praia do Sal tem tudo e é mesmo especial ♥️

The apartment was very good on arrival. There was no outdoor furniture, but given it was Christmas, that was understandable. The master bathroom, however, was extremely small — you had to sit on the toilet just to close the door. There was also nowhere to hang towels or bathrobes, so we ended up leaving them on the floor, and they were only replaced sporadically. The TV didn’t work throughout our stay, despite multiple requests to have it fixed. On a positive note, the daily cleaning was very welcome, although housekeeping was a bit heavy-handed and threw away items that shouldn’t have been discarded. In the spa area, quite a few things were broken — jets, showers, the cycling machine — which felt negligent and frustrating. We were invited to Christmas dinner at a cost of over €260 for two adults and two children. The menu was disappointing — for example, spaghetti bolognese for children on Christmas Day in Portugal felt completely uninspired. We declined, and from what we observed, other diners looked equally unimpressed. It’s hard to understand the focus on an Italian restaurant when Portuguese cuisine is so rich and exciting. The real tragedy of our stay, however, was the loss of my daughter’s teddy bear, “Olaf.” He has been with her through everything — pain, trauma, and over 13 years of memories. Despite speaking with the hotel team, they could not find it, we did not feel the emotional significance of this loss was understood. What was most upsetting was the manager suggesting that Olaf may never have been with us in the first place. That was deeply disappointing. Shame on you, Miguel Fernandes. Unfortunately, this Christmas will always be remembered as the one when we lost Olaf. Our hearts are broken. RIP Olaf, you were loved and are missed! Never to be replaced.

Because I travel for work and typically stay in hotels for a few weeks at a time, that gives me opportunity to experience the pros and cons on accommodations in long-term view. My recent stay here had many good highlights, but it was unfortunately tarnished by a dummy thing (to my view) at the restaurant. The Pros: Good Location: The hotel offers the availability to have beautiful views of the sea, sunrises, and sunsets, which made the stay very pleasant; Helpful Front Desk staff as they were consistently friendly and accommodating; Good Facilities as I enjoyed using the sauna and I also checked on both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools; Functional and clean Rooms, I stayed in a studio room where everything worked perfectly, The small fridge, microwave, stove, and multi-language TV channels were highly convenient for a long-term stay; Efficient Laundry even though a bit expensive the laundry service was fast, completing my order on the same day on a Sunday. The Cons: Underwhelming Gyms, While the hotel offers two gym locations which actually look good at first glance, they are not very functional. They are only suitable for very light workouts. If you rely on a proper fitness routine including at least good basic set of weights on same location where you staying, you will struggle here. Restaurant Service: the quality and taste of food is quite good but their staff service quite inconsistence;just to mention a couple of things I was told breakfast starts at 7:00am but most of the times they have not finished of setting things up, so you have to wait, then also one time because of this, I need it to go back to the room and on my way back I went and grab a banana… and I was told in a bit of rude way I was not allowed to get in back again and take anything because I already had eaten a breakfast a couple minutes back; I sort of laugh because I just did not believe we were having that sort of conversation, but this staff lady really meant it, so then I just thought… is really this the right approach?... I do not know; I am one single and simple guest but in any case because of this I will prefer to seek for alternative options next time… all because a banana.

Heel schoon (schoonmakers komen elke dag) appartement, goed ontbijt en zeer prettig zwembad. Zwembad is groot genoeg en er waren eigenlijk altijd genoeg stoelen beschikbaar voor het aantal gasten. We zaten in het hoogseizoen in de zomer, dus dat was prettig. We waren met ons zoontje van anderhalf jaar oud, net als meerdere andere mensen, zeker aan te raden want alles is op loopafstand. Het strand aan de rivier (voelt als zee) is ook middels een hek met code snel te bereiken. De receptie was erg attent, we hebben een paar keer fietsen gratis kunnen gebruiken om boodschappen te doen. Lopend is dat net ietwat ver weg, maar een uber/bolt was een ander alternatief geweest. We fietsen thuis ook veel dus dit was top. Heel fijne week gehad.

I give location a 3 but this is highly debatable. Praia do Sal is much more an apart-hotel resort than a typical hotel and as such it is quite remote from Lisbon but located in the nice village of Alcochete right by the sandy shores of the Tejo river. A rental car is a must, but from here it is easy to explore the beaches of Costa da Caparica as well as Setúbal. Lisbon Airport/City is +30 minutes away, but this is definitely not the place to be if all you want to do is to explore Lisbon. Some apartments are big enough for a family of 6 adults, fully featured modern kitchen and appliances with the comfort of a hotel with daily cleaning and made-up beds. With these caveats (or features) in mind, this is my 2nd year staying 15 days so yes we love the concept.

He estado con mi familia una semana en un apartamento de 2 habitaciones, todo nuevo, con domòtica y totalmente equipado. El spa abierto 24 horas, el personal de recepción encantador, el desayuno muy completo. El hotel a pie de playa. Nosotros nos hemos sentido muy a gusto.
