The hotel is located perfectly near the center of Tavira, just a few minutes away by foot. The hotel looks nice, but it has seen better days I'm sure. It could do with some maintenance. Rooms are comfortable though and beds are good. Be carefull, shower floor can be very slippery! Breakfast buffet was good, even had someone playing the piano, although the breakfast room is very noisy. Pool area (inlcuding pool bar) is very nice. Not able to rate the rooftop bar as it was closed for guests due to a private party. During check-in and check-out we had a different person behind the counter. I found them both not very friendly and a bit grumpy. That is certainly something that needs improvement, even if you go there for just one night.

An absolutely incredible hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went over & above to make my stay the most comfortable, and definitely memorable experience, again. That's what brings me back each time. The genuine warmth of every team member makes you feel like your a part of the AP family. The bond between them all is very obvious...signs of excellent management. They know how to make you feel truly special, and appreciated as a guest. Add to that, all the amenities you could want, and just a short walk to the historic downtown. You'll enjoy incredible views of Tavira, all the way to the ocean, and the rooftop lounge is the perfect place for a romantic dinner, complete with stunning Tavira sunsets. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel, it's always the best and most unforgetable experience.

Dirty room, sometimes nice staff but mostly not. Room was not ready at check in time, first receptionist didn’t offer anything. Just told us, you’ll have to wait, her colleague corrected. Cocktails are horrible in pool bar, in fact - the pool side bar is just empty and was never open - really false advertising here. Gym was very old and small. Beds were not made for 3 nights in a row and not firm anymore (old - hole in it) No way it’s a 4 star hotel… experience was maybe 2 stars. Only rooftop bar and breakfast were very good. We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights. There were some positives, but also several areas that need improvement. The staff were incredibly nice, friendly, and always helpful. The pool was excellent and one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast was good, although the selection was exactly the same every day, so it became repetitive during a longer stay. Unfortunately, the room did not meet the standard I would expect from a 4-star hotel. Throughout our 11-night stay, the room was not vacuumed even once. The balcony was never cleaned, and the refrigerator had an unpleasant smell. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance of the room were disappointing. While we appreciated the friendly staff and enjoyed the pool, the condition and cleanliness of the room left us unsatisfied.

Great hotel with exceptional staff. From the cleaning ladies to the front of shop staff. Pool area nice with one caveat, the sun beds are stretched, with use i guess and need replacing. The rooftop lounge is nice , but I felt the menu needed an overhaul.would I come back? Probably.

We have just returned from an fantastic break in Tavira.. the hotel is amazing and made our stay.. above all the staff were outstanding. The rooms are starting to show signs of wear and tear but everything worked (aircon whisper quiet) and we had a pool view 2nd floor. Breakfast (buffet) was excellent with a good mix of options. The staff again were spot on keeping things topped up and clearing tables in a flash. Access to the hotel is either via a short steep hill or flight of steps. It will be our choice of hotel if and when we visit again.Rooftop bar is reasonably priced and again you are well looked after by the staff.
