I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It was nowhere near the standard I expected from this brand. The cleanliness was unacceptable. There was hair all over the floor when we arrived, making it obvious that the room had not been properly cleaned. To make matters worse, we even found hair in the food we ordered. There was also a persistent sewage smell in the room throughout our stay, making it difficult to relax. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and despite reporting these issues, they were not resolved satisfactorily. I sent several emails to Marriott Customer Service but did not receive any assistance. As a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member, I found the level of customer service extremely disappointing. The overall service was disappointing, with little attention given to our concerns. This was far from the quality and hospitality I expected, and it significantly impacted our vacation. I don’t recommend this hotel at all. Unfortunately, I would not stay at this property again, nor would I recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable hotel experience.

This was an absolutely gorgeous hotel. From the large rooms, the beautiful ocean views, the complimentary breakfast and the immaculate spas/pools it was gorgeous! I took my coffee down to the beach every morning and watched the sunrise while I was there. They had great boardwalks to the beach from the hotel, and the whole city/resort felt very safe. Just take a look at the videos, you just can’t beat that sunrise. I would definitely return.

The Westin Algarve is a beautiful and welcoming hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating. My room was cosy and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the hotel grounds, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel grounds were also very well maintained. The hotel offers several pools and is within walking distance of an idyllic beach, where you can enjoy picturesque sunsets. Breakfast featured a wide selection of high-quality options, including freshly prepared egg dishes and local pastries. There were also several excellent choices for both lunch and dinner, with a variety of international dishes as well as traditional Portuguese cuisine available. I would also highly recommend a treatment at the spa, especially with Inês, who provided a wonderful experience. Inês was professional, attentive, and ensured the treatment was tailored to my preferences, making it one of the highlights of my stay. I had a lovely stay and have recommended this hotel to friends and family.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à l’hôtel The Westin Salgados Beach Resort. La suite dans laquelle nous avons séjourné était neuve, moderne et surtout très spacieuse, idéale pour une famille avec enfants. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le confort et l’agencement, qui permettent de se sentir rapidement comme chez soi. L’hôtel dans son ensemble est très bien entretenu et d’une propreté irréprochable. La plage était magnifique et le petit-déjeuner est un vrai point fort : varié, généreux et adapté à tous les goûts. Enfin, un grand merci à toute l’équipe, toujours gentille, souriante et attentive à nos demandes. Mention spéciale à Martina pour sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme, qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation !

We absolutely loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back. The pools are huge and so much space, very calm and pretty. The breakfast was amazing, the other restaurants on site are ok, one feels more like a bar but we had some good food there. The other is only open in the day but doenst have the best options for lunch so it’s ashame it’s not Open in the evening. It didn’t matter though as there are many stunning restaurants close by. Had an amazing massage at the spa as well. Will be back next year :)

Beautiful hotel with spacious, modern rooms with big windows. The hotel has very nice and relaxed atmosphere, all staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, the only thing to complain is the breakfast „outside“ which is a hall with huge windows and it’s quite noisy and you cannot sit actually outside. The pools are clean, in summer when it’s hot outside with a good refreshing temperature. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful (like most beaches in this region). If you want to have a sunbed you have to reserve it outside and in advance otherwise it’s difficult to get one. But laying in the sand is very nice too! We will come back for sure!
