My best vacation ever! 🌴❤️ My two nights at Niva Kurumba were truly unforgettable. I came here needing a break, but I left with so much more — beautiful memories, amazing experiences, and a completely refreshed feeling. In a way, I feel like my life has restarted with the experience and energy I gained from this place. I was genuinely sad to leave Niva Kurumba. The resort itself is beautiful, but what made my stay truly special was the incredible team. Every person I met was kind, welcoming, friendly, supportive, and went out of their way to make my experience memorable. Every one of you was so friendly, welcoming and supportive, and your kindness truly made my stay even more special. ❤️ Niva Kurumba wasn’t just a vacation for me — it was an experience that I will carry with me for a long time. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the staff were friendly and tried their best to help. The beach and snorkeling were beautiful, and the location is very convenient if you want to stay close to the airport. However, I left feeling that the resort has a lot of potential that isn’t fully realized. The swimming pool is nice but feels outdated, and the pool service could be more attentive. After dinner, the resort becomes very quiet, with very limited entertainment for families. There is no outdoor playground for children, and once the Kids Club closes at 6:00 PM, there is very little for kids to do. My son quickly became bored, and we often had no choice but to let him use screens, which is something we try to avoid during vacations. The restaurants are quite expensive. While the team kindly tried to offer us discounts during our stay, I believe the resort would benefit even more from investing in family-friendly evening activities, children’s entertainment, and an outdoor playground. These additions would make a huge difference for families traveling with young children. Because the resort is so close to the airport, planes fly overhead frequently. My son actually enjoyed watching them, but for me it took away from the peaceful “remote island” atmosphere I was hoping for. Next time, I would probably choose a resort farther from the airport for a more secluded Maldives experience. Kurumba has many strengths, especially its staff and beautiful beach, but with some updates and more family-focused entertainment, it could become an even better destination.

Was able to spend 3 lovely days at this beautiful resort after ringing in the new year in Dubai. In every aspect, the resort was excellent. I especially loved the beautiful tropical aesthetic of the resort. Being only steps away from the water’s edge and the personal space allocated to each bungalow make the stay feel exclusive. The food was excellent. Lots of choices for every food preference and everything was well-prepared. I wish I had more time here.

My partner and I stayed at Niva Karuma in a Deluxe Bungalow for 3 nights and had an incredible experience. The room was great - clean, spacious, and a wonderful location on the west-facing beach for the sunset. We had the All-Inclusive package, so we ate all of our meals at the buffet and enjoyed drinks at the different bars around the island. I had seen some comments before our arrival about the lack of variety at the buffet, but I couldn’t disagree more. For all three meals, there was a regular rotation of dishes, with a great range of cuisines from different cultures. Our favorite was probably the selection of fish, which was consistently fresh and well-cooked. The service was excellent. Our interactions with the various members of the hotel staff were positive and they went out of their way to accommodate special requests. Islom at Athiri Bar was especially great. He was wonderful to chat with, helpful, and genuinely such a lovely person. It’s true that we didn’t try all of the resort’s amenities, so we can’t speak to the spa, water sports, or additional restaurants. But, based on everything we did experience, we absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

So content!! Great resort☀️, amazing food, fantastic snorkeling and the kindest service you will ever find. I stayed at kurumba resorts for 1 week with my family and im sure to say it has been the best tropical holiday i have had so far in my life. The island is super romantic and relaxing. The waters are great - you can see so many fish!! And sharks!-And they are not dangerous😂🙏 We had the all inclusive package when we were there, so we ate at the buffé everyday, and i never got tired of the variation of south/east asian food.🍲🥘🍤A warm shoutout to all the friendly people who work in the buffé who took good care of us every day, and to the names i remember the most, Ifham, Asad and Naphat. Naphat you have an amazing personality. I just cant help being in a good mood when im around you😍 Same goes to the workers in Athiri bar!🌅 Islom you bring soo much joy to the people at the beach!! There is also really good diving instructors on the Island. I advise you to take the oppurtunity to deep dive in the waters🐠 Thank you to everyone who works on the island🩷 You are a big strong team.
