I stayed for 3 nights in Villa 123 and another staying in Villa 115 now. This is my second time visiting the Maldives. On my first trip, I stayed at a resort with a focus on the lagoon because I wanted to see the signature emerald waters. This time, I came here following a recommendation for a resort with great access to snorkeling. My first impression was a bit disappointing due to the lack of a large lagoon, but everything else about this resort far exceeded my expectations. In particular, the sense of openness and privacy in the Ocean Villa is outstanding. While many other resorts build long, narrow rooms to squeeze as many units over the water as possible, this resort boldly offers wide-frontage villas with breathtaking, unobstructed views. Also, back in my home country of South Korea, it is nearly impossible to see the Milky Way due to light pollution and fine dust—unless you travel deep into the mountains. Here, in my 40s, I saw the Milky Way for the very first time in my life and captured it with my own eyes. It is a moment I will treasure forever, far more secure than a photo that could ever be lost. I was initially worried that the small island might get boring, but the fantastic excursions and thoughtfully planned schedule (grouping activities during our Beach Villa stay so we could fully relax and enjoy the resort while at the Ocean Villa) kept us completely entertained. The Manta ray tour, in particular, remains one of the most wondrous experiences of my life. Regarding the dining, I personally suggested adding a few more options tailored to Northeast Asian guests, and the staff listened attentively and handled my feedback with great understanding. Thank you. I am happy not just because this is the Maldives, but because it is The Westin. ㅡㅡㅡ I wrote my first review during our stay, and now that I have caught up with work after returning home, I am writing this second review. The biggest reason for this follow-up is the incredible kindness of the staff. First, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Santo for his invaluable help. We had booked a manta ray tour, but I was quite worried because it involved deep-sea snorkeling and our son has a mild disability. The tour was scheduled for 9:00 AM, while the Kids Club opened at 10:00 AM, so I asked if it would be possible to leave our son at the Kids Club. Mr. Santo went above and beyond—he spent time teaching my son how to play pool and ensured he was safely looked after at the Kids Club. I also want to thank Ms. Julia. After participating in the Brother Island Snorkeling tour, I suffered from severe seasickness and vomited, leaving me looking quite unwell. Seeing my condition nearby, she kindly escorted me all the way back to our room. Additionally, every single staff member at the restaurant was consistently warm and friendly. If I may offer a few constructive suggestions for improvement: Beverage Selection: Perhaps because the property was not originally designed as an all-inclusive resort, the variety of cocktails and mocktails typically enjoyed at a tropical destination felt somewhat limited, and it seemed like there was no professional bartender on site. At a resort like this, visually appealing drinks are especially appealing to female guests. Creating signature drinks unique to The Westin Maldives and including photos of beverages on the menu would be a wonderful way to delight guests. Dining Options: Many guests from East Asia are not accustomed to strong herbs, spices, or long-grain rice. For guests who find Southeast Asian cuisine challenging, it would be wonderful to have more universally comforting options—such as a wider variety of Italian pastas (currently, only Bolognese is available) and different types of rice. Menu Optimization: Developing a dedicated all-inclusive menu with smaller portion sizes and a broader range of choices could help enhance the guest experience while minimizing food waste.

We are a couple from Taiwan, and we are so glad that we chose the Westin for our vacation. We would highly recommend it to anyone who loves the ocean. We stayed for six nights, and not a single day felt boring. The resort thoughtfully offers a wide variety of activities and facilities, including both complimentary programs and paid experiences. Our villa was located in an area with an amazing coral ecosystem. Simply snorkeling right outside our room allowed us to see countless marine creatures, including reef sharks, eagle rays, parrotfish, and many other colorful fish that we could not even name. The underwater world was truly breathtaking. The food at the restaurants was also excellent. Hawker was especially impressive, and the dishes were as good as some of the Thai and Indonesian restaurants we have enjoyed in Taiwan. Island Kitchen offered a great variety of food choices. We enjoyed the Indian curries several times, and a Sri Lankan chef named Manbeen kindly introduced us to the characteristics of different Indian curries. It was a very fresh and memorable experience for us. The fitness center was also very convenient and well equipped. We used the treadmills, played chess and table tennis, and the recreation manager, Santo, even taught us how to play tennis. It was a lot of fun. At the diving center, Jose from Ecuador took us on two dives. He was extremely kind and always paid close attention to our diving conditions and safety. He seemed like a person with many interesting life stories, and we would have loved to hear more about his experiences. Unfortunately, our English was not good enough for deeper conversations, but we are still very grateful to him. Afnan from the photography center is an incredibly talented photographer. It felt as if we were taking our wedding photos all over again. Her work was truly stunning. We purchased several digital photos as keepsakes, and every single one of them is worth cherishing. In addition, every staff member here was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Whether it was Ita, Dutta, the two Indian gentlemen serving at Hawker (we are very sorry that we forgot their names), or Rohit, all of them made us feel completely at home. This trip would not have been the same without all of you. In short, we highly recommend this resort for a honeymoon. We truly ate well, moved well, and slept well, and every detail here was simply well done.

We’ve just finished our 9 day dream stay at this paradise hotel as a family of four with two kids (4 and 5 years old). As a Bonvoy ambassador I’ve been to many great hotels but this hotel, and the experience delivered through their extremely engaged, attentive and genuine staff went above and beyond! The entire stay from arrival to departure lived up to highest expectations in terms of their staff - shout out to everyone but particularly to Rohit, Min, Nicholas, Zainey, the team at the dive centre, the fitness team - just wow!! We felt extremely well looked after and the team delivered many surprise moments. The restaurants offer great variety in terms of meals and also daily changing options including BBQ evenings. We loved both IK and Hawker and will try The Pearl next time for sure. Min their executive chef is creating a wonderful ambiance and fulfilled every dream of our kids / including cotton candy. We stayed in a pool bungalow by the beach which was beautifully appointed with great taste and cleaned twice daily. The bathrooms are huge and the outdoor shower faces the beautiful turquoise sea. Spectacular!! The kids club had a great program with daily variety and a nice and caring team. We did three boat trips for snorkeling and one trip included a private lunch on a sandbank. Once in a lifetime moment. Thank you and we hope to being back soon!

We've had an outstanding holiday at the Westin, Baa Atoll, Maldives. The staff are fantastic and can't do enough! A particularly shout out to Athur, Dutta, Santo, Lucy, Lexi, Mue, Aiman, Alberto, Robin. Apologies to anyone I missed! Len and Janin at the Dive Centre gave us a magical experience with the Manta Rays. A truly one off day we'll never forget. The artist at the art shop created wonderful paintings with our kids which will always be a forever memory (can't remember his name!) Would highly recommend and hope to be back one day.

Wir durften ein wunderbares, einmaliges Urlaubserlebnis auf den Malediven erleben. Das Resort The Westin hat alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt und sogar übertroffen. Von der luxuriösen Villa über die abwechslungsreichen Restaurants bis hin zu der hervorragenden gastronomischen Leistung haben wir vor allem auch die wunderschöne Insel, das Ambiente und die Ruhe der Anlage genossen. Dabei lernten wir auch unglaublich tolles Personal kennen, das aufmerksam, herzlich und engagiert jeden unserer Wünsche erfüllt hat. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir Srimal, Dutta, Anupam, Lucy, Santo, Ita, Leem, Ismail und Robin und weitere wo wir leider nicht alle Namen notiert haben. Auch unsere Gästebetreuung (Isabelle und Rohit) möchten wir besonders erwähnen. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!

下手打ちで失礼します。 楽しみにしていたマンタツアーは人数が足りないからと中止に、説明が事前に旅行会社からあったかもしれないが非常に残念だった。その為に来たのに。英語が出来ないのが悪いが大事な話も基本口頭で書類で確認出来ないので時間や概要が分からない。 書類にサインしても控えをくれないので不安、そういう文化なのかな 食事のスタッフさんが皆さん優しいのでとても救われるました！！ありがとう！滞在のいい思い出です！この人たちがバトラーさんならいいのに。味は悪く無いけど、高級リゾートの味ではないですね、なんか残念。量が物凄く多くて毎回フードファイト、みんな食べ切れてるのかな？虫がサラダの周りに沢山飛んでいて文化の違いを感じた。 バトラーのサントが休暇らしくて後から合流だったけど、whatappに聞いた方が早いし、正確だし。サントの情報曖昧だし、返信遅いし、そんなもんなのかね？先に言っておいて。しかも来るなりレストランオススメして予約するよって言ったけど美味しくなかったし、予約した日はアイランドキッチンで催し物があったからそっちの方が良かったわ、何のためのバトラーなのか、ホテルの催し物がいくつかあるらしかったがそれもわからずじまいで正直使えなかった。何か手伝える事はある？て聞いてくれるけど情報わからんし、聞いても調べておくよで返信こないし、使えなすぎ。 というか日本人スタッフいないの？話と違うなぁ。 ドルフィンはしっかり見れて良かった、けど 背ビレだけなので改めて水族館てすごいなと感じた。そんな事よりも船で写真を撮ってくれたスタッフがめっちゃ撮るの上手だったのは凄かった、スタッフさんみんな写真撮るの上手くてすごい。日本食は絶品とstワールドに書いてあったがスシローの方が美味しいし、天ぷらはたかおのほうが美味しいし、なんか分からない麺の焼いた？揚げたやつだされて、夏休みにお昼の残り物かき集めてお母さんが作ってくれた味がした。オールインクルーシブなのだからか雨季に行ったからなのか昨年のYoutubeで行った人は日本酒飲んでるし、雲丹食べてるし、違いすぎて悲しくなった。ハウスキーパーは日によってやる事違うのかな？水が追加されたりされなかったり、飲み物がランダムだったり。フォトシューティングの方はとても丁寧で写真は最高でした！流石プロです！バギーの人達もみんな良い人で楽しかった。通る人みんな挨拶してくれるの好感高いです。スパはスゴイ極上体験でした！またやりたいね！卓球のアクティビティをやった時に球が割れてて、変えて貰っても割れてたからそんなもんかと思ってたらわざわざ割れてないの持ってきてくれたスタッフのお兄さん感謝です。ハイビスカスフローズンとティーはめっちゃうまかった！ ビーチとプールがみんなが食べてる前にあるから気まずさが半端ない。 そんなもんだよって言われたらそうかもしれないし、経験少ないから分からないだけかもしれないけど、正直高いお金だしてくる場所ではなかったかな、他のところをオススメします。無料で来れるなら呼んで欲しい
