We spent eight unforgettable nights at Finolhu Maldives and truly did not want to leave. Rarely has a holiday felt so completely perfect in every way. The sun, the sea, and the gentle ocean breeze are a given, but it is the incredible team at the resort who made our stay absolutely exceptional. Their warmth, genuine friendliness, personalised service, attention to detail, and outstanding skills were evident everywhere. A very special mention must go to the chefs, whose cuisine was consistently of the highest standard and truly world-class. We will most definitely return and cannot recommend this resort highly enough. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire team for an unforgettable experience!

What a trip! Our room was immaculate, we snorkeled from our back verandah every day and lounged around our private pool at every chance. The food at all of the restaurants was top class, it was the best food I've had within the confines of a resort of any place i have travelled. The staff were incredibly friendly and were available to assist with any query you might have. Special call out to Aflaah, Ricky and Sashwin who we dealt with the most on our trip and they took a range of extra steps to ensure we had an amazing honeymoon. 5/5 will return!

Finolhu was the perfect destination for our wedding anniversary. It balances luxury and refinement with relaxation, not being too fussy and allowing you to indulge in whatever mood takes you. The island is pristine - the clearest water and beautiful facilities all extremely well maintained. The variety and quality of food is sensational and we particularly liked the Crab Shack and the Japanese restaurant. A few surprises were the butler service, ready always to pick us up from our room and take us anywhere on the island. We also didnt realise how accessible the snorkelling would be - straight out from the over-water villas and the current gently drifts you back along the drop-off, to the island. Over seven nights we had plenty to do including day trips to see the Manta Rays, jet skiing with dolphins and exploring the island facilities. We went for the premium all-inclusive package and were always so full that we barely touched the mini-bar (which is also included). Finally, the staff are so welcoming and friendly. They go the extra mile to ensure you are well looked after and take a huge amount of pride in their work. Look forward to our next trip and although it was an indulgence, the memories are priceless.

First of all we would like to thank our host Ms. Nook - she did everything really everything possible to make our stay the best experience ever. 95% of the staff is fantastic with a great family atmosphere making you feel there even way better than at home. Rooms are greatly designed by Duda (London Designer) and we had the chance to meet the chief designer as well (Chris thx for great converstation and the possibility to meet you). The resort has a great house reef which you can reach within 5min swim. The food is excellent (except of the arabian grill but it‘s a matter of taste). The dive centre has as well excellent people helping you as much as they can to discover the under water world (thank you Isabela for this excellent experience!!!). There are plenty of things to do when the weather is not nice (although we had great luck and enjoyed a lot of sunny days). You may see there many fishes, sharks, dolphins, turtles and also trigger fish (be careful - it is biting). Last but not least - they love children - our son Leo had his 3rd birthday there. They made this day exceptional with so many warm surprises that we can‘t even beat this level at home. Thank you for that especially to Mr. Hussain and Nook and all waiters (you were fantastic!!!) All in all we were extremely satisfied with our holiday and can recommend this resort to anybody looking for excellent quality at good value Family Dudek (room 223)

Seaside Finolhu Maldives — sharing my personal experience It’s a small island with no bicycles — and at first, it feels like something might be missing. But then you realize: everything is so close, and how beautiful it is to walk everywhere barefoot. And honestly, that’s exactly the Maldivian magic. There’s this incredible sense of lightness here. No rush, no noise — just you, the ocean, and that soft feeling of “I feel good.” At the same time, everything you need for a perfect stay is here: tennis, padel (that iconic pink court where you’ll definitely take a million photos), and beautiful spots where you just want to linger for hours. A big plus — there are several kids’ clubs for different age groups, and you can truly feel that they’re designed with care, not just for show. The island is compact but thoughtfully designed — you keep discovering new favorite corners. I would honestly call this one of the most Instagrammable resorts. The food is delicious, and the service is wonderful. There’s a buffet as well as different restaurants, so every evening feels like a new mood. And the sandbank… it’s something truly special. Finolhu is not about flashy luxury. It’s about a feeling. About lightness. About those small daily moments that turn into a celebration for both the soul and the eye. And honestly… it’s one of those places you want to return to not because you should, but because it simply felt so good 🤍

Einfach perfekt! Es ist leider schon ein paar Monate her, daß wir unseren Urlaub auf Finolhu verbracht haben, aber die Insel lässt mich nicht los, so daß ich jetzt endlich eine Bewertung schreiben muss. Unser Aufenthalt war einfach perfekt, obwohl das Wetter nicht ganz optimal war, das wurde durch das durchgehend freundliche und kompetente Personal mehr als ausgeglichen, Die Gästebetreuung und Hotellleitung war immer aufmerksam und präsent, hätte es einen Kritikpunkt gegeben wäre er bestimmt umgehend erledigt worden. Unser Wasserbungalow war perfekt. Das Riff ist direkt von der Insel beschnorchelbar. Das Hauptrestaurant und das asiatische Retaurant waren sehr gut, aber kein Vergleich mit dem "Chrabshack" der ist einfach perfekt und sucht weltweit seinesgleichen. Das Lokal, die Location, das Personal die Speisen und Getränke sind nicht zu toppen. Die Hauptbar am Pool ist wunderschön, mit erstkassigem Personal und ist bestens ausgestattet.
