It was a different world altogether. Hospitality - 5/5 Ambiance- 5/5 Amenities - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Stay - 5/5 The most unforgettable nights in Atmosphere Kanifushi... Seaplane Transfers and Kanifushi AI plan was amazing. Hansi was assigned as a Butler for us and she was an amazing host. With smiling face and energetic voice she facilitated the tours and answered our queries. The buggy shuttle was so convenient... especially the ride with Khan. All the staff were wearing a smile and greeted us wholeheartedly. Food was amazing... we had food and drinks from 'The Spice', Ceylon Bliss, Sunset, Liquid pool bar, Just Veg and Pier 6. Both the Beach Villa and Water Villa were amazing... We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

My wife and I came to Atmosphere Kanifushi for our honeymoon and it was an unforgettable experience! We were accommodated from landing to departing with access to the airport lounge. Atmosphere provided complimentary honeymoon dinner(s) and activities such as snorkeling and sunset cruises, which are must dos. The water/beach villas are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Special shoutout to our GRO, Azu, and shuttle drivers, Ali and Poran, for going above and beyond! Thank you and hope to come back soon!

We stayed at Atmosphere Kanifushi for 4 nights in a 2 Bedroom Sunset Villa, which is essentially two adjoining Sunset Beach Villas connected by an internal door, making it perfect for our family of four and our nanny. The resort itself is beautiful, but what really made the trip special was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, warm and eager to help. A special mention to Maryna, our Guest Relations Officer, who was always available whenever we needed anything, and to Sona Lal at Liquid, who was incredibly sweet and accommodating whenever we were there with the kids. We travelled with our two children, aged 4 and 1, and found the resort very family-friendly. We visited both the kids’ club and games arcade during our stay, and the boys really enjoyed them, but honestly there was so much else to do that they were busy most of the time. The food was excellent, with plenty of restaurants to choose from and lots of variety throughout our stay. As a vegetarian, I was particularly happy with the options available. Most restaurants had vegetarian options as well as dedicated kids’ menus, which made meal times very easy. One of the highlights was the number of activities included. We could choose between a sunset cruise or fishing trip, there were complimentary snorkelling excursions running daily in both the mornings and afternoons, and all non-motorised water sports such as kayaks and paddle boats were included as well. We also had a lovely teppanyaki dinner at Pier Six. The chef was great fun, and our older son absolutely loved the experience. Another lovely touch was the complimentary family photoshoot. Shaff was fantastic, and we were so happy with the photos she captured for us. If you’re travelling with young children and booking a Beach Villa, I would recommend emailing the resort before arrival and requesting a villa closer to the main restaurants and activity areas. The island is one of the larger ones in the Maldives, and depending on where you are located, getting around can take a while with little kids. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and honestly could have stayed another night. The resort had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway, and the combination of great facilities, excellent food and genuinely caring staff made it a very memorable stay.

We booked this hotel via Booking.com and cancelled the reservation in early March in full compliance with the cancellation policy. As of 8 May, the deposit has still not been refunded, despite multiple follow‑ups with the hotel. The stated refund timeline is 14 days, which has been significantly exceeded. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who expects timely and reliable handling of refunds. Stay away from the hotel if you want to get your money to be returned!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Maldives Escape We stayed 11 nights at Atmosphere Kanifushi in March 2026 and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The island is stunning - beautiful white sand beaches, crystal-clear water, and a very peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Getting around is easy with bikes and regular shuttle buggies. Highlights: • Beach Villa: Spacious, private, and spotless. Loved the outdoor bathroom and hammock area. • Food: Great overall, especially Pier Six (overwater dining was a standout). The Friday beach gala dinner is a must. • Spa: Excellent massages - very relaxing and high quality. • Service: Friendly, attentive staff throughout our stay. • Special touches: We were celebrating our anniversary and really appreciated the cake, decorations and thoughtful surprises. Small downside: More variety in included restaurants would be nice for longer stays. Overall: A truly relaxing, luxury getaway - perfect for switching off. We’d definitely return and highly recommend.

Our stay at Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. We stayed in the overwater villas with private pools and a sunset view, and it truly felt like a dream—waking up to the ocean and ending each day with breathtaking sunsets right from our villa was unforgettable. The dining experience throughout the resort was outstanding, with a great variety of restaurants offering consistently high-quality food. A special mention must go to the team at Pier Six, who looked after us every morning at breakfast—their warm, attentive service really made our stay extra special and set the tone for each day. We also thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling trips. The staff were fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive—and the coral reefs we visited were absolutely stunning, full of vibrant marine life. The nurse shark experience was a highlight for our whole family; it was well-organized and felt completely safe, even for our 8 and 10-year-old children, who loved every minute of it. The beaches around the island are beautiful, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water. One of the standout features of Kanifushi is its size—being larger than many island resorts, it offers plenty of space to explore and ensures you never feel bored, even after a longer stay. The reception team were always helpful and accommodating, making everything smooth and stress-free. The seaplane transfer to and from Malé was also very well coordinated, adding to the seamless overall experience. We would highly recommend Atmosphere Kanifushi to anyone looking for a luxurious, family-friendly Maldivian escape with excellent service, great food, and unforgettable experiences.
